In recent years,there has been continuous improvement in the treatment and diagnosis of cancer,which has led to a significant improvement in the survival rate of cancer *** that include chemotherapy,radiotherapy,surgery,or combined therapy have several side effects that may lead to premature ovarian insufficiency in females or substantial male germ cell *** biologists recommend that all patients who are diagnosed with a malignant tumor must undergo a consultation for fertility protection and *** this review,we discuss the background knowledge,methods,and options for fertility preservation and how these new strategies help oncologists,surgeons,pediatricians,and hematologists,conserve fertility and be aware of the concepts,methods,and importance of fertility *** review may aid in the advancement of novel personalized methods for fertility preservation according to patients’conditions.

＜正＞ The purpose of this investigation was to explore whether or not propolis extract could prevent the hepatic damage caused by model toxicant i.e. carbon tetrachloride（CCl4）. Antioxidative efficacy of propolis extract was evaluated against acute （1.5 ml/kg, ip. once only） and subchronic （0.15 ml/kg, ip. 21 days） exposure to CCl4. Toxicant exposure provoked marked elevation in the activities of serum transaminases. alkaline phosphatase and lactate dehydrogenase. Significant increased lipid peroxidation was observed after toxicant exposure. Drastic alterations were observed in enzymatic and non - enzymatic antioxidant defense system, which were estimated by reduced and oxidised glutathione. glutathione peroxidaseand glutathione reductase in liver. Initial screening of Propolis extract at different doses （50. 100. 200 and 400 mg/kg. once only, po） revealed recoupment in acute study and found to be very effective in restoring all the parameters. Treatment with effective dose of Propolis extract （200 mg/kg. po） for 5 days after subchronic exposure of toxicant caused significant recovery. It was observed that Propolis exerts its beneficial hepatoprotective effect as a natural antioxidant due to the presence of polyphenols and flavonoids.

Inpatient falls from beds in hospitals are a common *** falls may result in severe *** problem can be addressed by continuous monitoring of patients using *** advancements in deep learning-based video analytics have made this task of fall detection more effective and *** with fall detection,monitoring of different activities of the patients is also of significant concern to assess the improvement in their *** computation-intensive models are required to monitor every action of the patient *** requirement limits the applicability of such ***,to keep the model lightweight,the already designed fall detection networks can be extended to monitor the general activities of the patients along with the fall *** by the same notion,we propose a novel,lightweight,and efficient patient activity monitoring system that broadly classifies the patients’activities into fall,activity,and rest classes based on their *** whole network comprises three sub-networks,namely a Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)based video compression network,a Lightweight Pose Network(LPN)and a Residual Network(ResNet)Mixer block-based activity recognition *** compression network compresses the video streams using deep learning networks for efficient storage and retrieval;after that,LPN estimates human ***,the activity recognition network classifies the patients’activities based on their *** proposed system shows an overall accuracy of approx.99.7% over a standard dataset with 99.63% fall detection accuracy and efficiently monitors different events,which may help monitor the falls and improve the inpatients’health.

In an environment,the food chains are balanced by the prey-predator *** a predator species is provided with more than one prey population,it avails the option of prey switching between prey species according to their ***,prey switching of predators mainly helps to increase the overall growth rate of a predator *** this work,we have proposed a two prey-one predator system where the predator population adopts switching behavior between two prey species at the time of *** the prey population exhibit a strong Allee effect and the predator population is considered to be a generalist *** proposed system is biologically well-defined as the system variables are positive and do not increase abruptly with *** local stability analysis reveals that all the predator-free equilibria are saddle points whereas the prey-free equilibrium is always *** intrinsic growth rates of prey,the strong Allee parameters,and the prey refuge parameters are chosen to be the controlling parameters *** numerical simulation reveals that in absence of one prey,the other prey refuge parameter can change the system dynamics by forming a stable or unstable limit ***,a situation of bi-stability,tri-stability,or even multi-stability of equilibrium points occurs in this *** in presence of the switching effect,the predator chooses prey according to their abundance,so,increasing refuge in one prey population decreases the count of the second prey *** is also observed that the count of predator population reaches a comparatively higher value even if they get one prey population at its fullest quantity and only a portion of other prey ***,in the scarcity of one prey species,switching to the other prey is beneficial for the growth of the predator population.

Coaxial plasma guns are a type of plasma source that produces plasma which propagates radially and axially controlled by the shape of the ground electrode, which has attracted much interest in several applications. In this work, a 120° opening angle of CPG nozzle is used as a plasma gun configuration that operates at the energy of 150 J. The ionization of polyethylene insulator between the electrodes of the gun produces a cloud of hydrogen and carbon *** triple Langmuir probe and Faraday cup are used to measure plasma density and plasma temperature. These methods are used to measure the on-axis and off-axis plasma divergence of the coaxial plasma gun. The peak values of ion densities measured at a distance of 25 mm on-axis from the plasma gun are(1.6±0.5)×10^(19)m^(-3)and(2.8±0.6)×10^(19)m^(-3)for hydrogen and carbon plasma respectively and the peak temperature is 3.02±0.5 eV. The mean propagation velocity of plasma is calculated using the transit times of plasma at different distances from the plasma gun and is found to be 4.54±0.25 cm/μs and 1.81±0.18 cm/μs for hydrogen and carbon plasma respectively. The Debye radius is obtained from the measured experimental data that satisfies the thin sheath approximation. The shot-to-shot stability of plasma parameters facilitates the use of plasma guns in laboratory experiments. These types of plasma sources can be used in many applications like plasma opening switches, plasma devices, and as plasma sources.

This study evaluates the effectiveness of phase change materials(PCMs) inside a storage tank of warm water for solar water heating(SWH) system through the theoretical simulation based on the experimental model of *** et *** model is explained by five fundamental equations for the calculation of various parameters like the effectiveness of PCMs,the mass of hot water,total heat content,and duration of *** study simulated eleven PCMs to analyze their effectiveness like Sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate(SHPD),OM 37,N-Eicosane(NE),Lauric acid(LA),Paraffin wax(PW),OM 48,Paraffin wax C_(20-33)(PW-C20-33),Sodium acetate trihydrate(SAT),Palmitic acid(PA),Myristic acid(MA),and Stearic acid(SA).Among all PCMs,the SHPD has found the highest value of effectiveness factor of ***,it is the most recommended PCM for the storage tank of the SWH *** study also includes the melt fraction analysis of all enumerated PCMs corresponding to container materials of stainless steel,glass,aluminum mixed,tin,aluminum,and *** melt fraction analysis is performed by making a coding program in the FORTRAN programming *** the analysis,copper container material is found to have high melting rate for all PCMs so it is superior to other container materials.

Exposure to mercuric chloride(HgCl2;5 mg kg–1 body weight;i.p.)induced oxidative stress in mice and substantially increased lipid peroxidation(LPO)and oxidized glutathione(GSSG)levels,decreased the level of reduced glu-tathione(GSH)and various antioxidant enzymes in liver and also increased the activities of liver marker enzymes in *** with propolis extract,a resinous wax-like beehive product(200 mg kg–1 orally,after mercury administration),for 3 days inhibited LPO and the formation of GSSG and increased the level of GSH in the *** of serum transaminases,alkaline phosphatase,lactate dehydrogenase and-glutamyl transpeptidase were significantly restored after propolis *** activities of antioxidant enzymes,that is,superoxide dismutase,catalase,glutathione-S-transferase and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase,were also concomitantly restored towards normal levels after propolis *** observations clearly demonstrate that propolis treatment augments antioxidant defense against mercury-induced toxicity and provide evidence that propolis has therapeutic potential as a hepatoprotective agent.

Simvastatin, a BCS class II drug, is associated with poor aqueous solubility, first-pass metabolism and short half-life. In the present work, nanoparticles were prepared and evaluated. Optimization of formulation and process parameters was done through the use of independent and dependent variables. Preliminary studies were done to determine suitable range of the concentration of Eudragit polymer (10%–30%) and the ratio of drug to polymer (1:1 to 1:5) for the formation of nanoparticles by emulsification and a solvent evaporation technique. Results revealed that the mean size of nanoparticles was affected by stirring speed from 5000 RPM, 8000 RPM, and 12000 RPM. The results of increase in association efficiency and percent yield with increase in amount of drug from 100 mg, 150 mg, and 200 mg in selected range were observed. In-vitro release studies showed that two formulations possess highest initial burst and slow sustained drug release. There was 2.93-fold decrease in total cholesterol and 3.27-fold increases in triglyceride level during in-vivo study.
