Analysis of the data suggests that the biophysical radiophysical sensing future earthquake epicenters is a promising direction for the medium-term and short-term forecasting of seismic events. We believe that it is necessary to create an international network of seismic monitoring biophysical for all seismically active areas of the globe. Information about biophysical precursors of earthquakes should be accumulated in the computer center, and operating information transmitted to all peripheral seismic monitoring station biophysical and services ministry of Emergencies. In conclusion, I emphasize the value of such a centralized system of control over the “breath” of the Earth for the prevention and the prevention of industrial accidents in the mines, road transport, large power plants, etc.

Crohn's disease(CD)and ulcerative colitis(UC)are complex polygenic disorders,characterized by several genes together with environmental factors contributing to the development of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).Recent advances in research on genetic susceptibility have allowed the identification of diverse genes at different levels:(1)Innate immunity;(2)Antigen presentation molecules;(3)Epithelial integrity;(4)Drug transporter;(5)Cell *** application of genetic testing into clinical practice is close and all genetic markers may have several clinical implications:prediction of disease phenotype,molecular classification,prevention of complications,and prognosis.

In this paper, the influence of loading rate and specimen height on flexural strength of Al2O3 at high temperatures has been studied by three-point bending method. The experimental results show that the flexural strength of Al2O3 decreases with increasing specimen height at room temperature, and it tends to stability when height increases to a certain degree (h=5mm in this paper), while the flexural strength of Al2O3 variates unapparently at high temperature with increasing height. There is a critical loading rate R . c. When loading rate R . is less than R . c, the flexural strength of Al2O3 increases with increasing loading rate and it drops sharply when loading rate is higher than R . c. The sensitivity of flexural strength to the loading rate decreases with elevating temperatures.

The future of printed electronics involves advancements not only related to full system integration,but also lean process manufacturing.A critical aspect of this progress is developed in this study,which evaluates a highly flexible screen printed through-hole-via using silver microparticle inks,for applications in energy harvesting and storage *** printed vias’fabrication and durability are evaluated by means of a double sided screen-printing method and repetitive(cyclic)bending ***,through 125-µm-thick PET foil,were laser cut(nominally 50,100,150,and 200µm diameters)then filled,and simultaneously connected to adjacent vias by screen *** investigate the use of the printed via in a monolithic energy module,the vias were used for the fabrication of a flexible printed supercapacitor containing aqueous electrolyte and carbon *** results indicate that the lower viscosity silver ink(DuPont 5064H)fills the via less effectively than the higher viscosity ink(Asahi LS411AW),and as the via size increases(≥150µm diameter)via walls are coated rather than ***,the more viscous ink fills the via thoroughly and exhibited a 100%yield(1010 vias;100µm nominal via diameter)with the two-step direct screen-printing *** 10-mm radius bending test showed no signs of via specific breakdown after 30,000 *** results indicate that this via filling process is likely roll-to-roll compatible to enable multi-layered printed electronic devices.

Water droplets cause corrosion and erosion,condensation loss,and thermal efficiency reduction in low-pressure steam *** this study,multi-objective optimization was carried out using the black-box method through the automatic linking of a genetic algorithm(GA)and a computational fluid dynamics(CFD)code to find the optimal values of two design variables(inlet stagnation temperature and cascade pressure ratio)to reduce wetness in the last stages of *** wet steam flow numerical model was used to calculate the optimization parameters,including wetness fraction rate,mean droplet radius,erosion rate,condensation loss rate,kinetic energy rate,and mass flow *** the validation results showed a good agreement between the experimental data and the numerical *** to the optimization results,the inlet stagnation temperature and the cascade pressure ratio were proposed to be 388.67(k)and 0.55(-),*** particular,the suggested optimaltemperature and pressure ratio improved the liquid mass fraction and mean droplet radius by about 32%and 29%,***,in the identified optimal operating state,the ratios of erosion,condensation loss,and kinetic energy fell by 76%,32.7%,and 15.85%,respectively,while the mass flow rate ratio rose by 0.68%.

The electrical conductivity method was successfully applied as a new monitoring technique to monitor the corrosion and corrosion inhibition processes of zinc metal. measurements of electrical conductivity at 20.0°C of three different corrosive solutions (HCl, NaOH, and NaCl) were performed with two different concentrations (0.10 and 1.00 m) containing zinc sheets in the absence and presence of four different concentrations of sodium lignosulfonate (1.0, 5.0, 10.0, and 20.0 mm). The analysis of curves that illustrates the changes in electrical conductivity of these solutions provides qualitative information about the strength of corrosion as well as the extent of corrosion inhibition behavior. The results obtained from electrical conductivity measurements revealed that sodium lignosulfonate was an effective corrosion inhibitor in acidic medium (for both 0.10 and 1.00 m HCl) in which it converted into lignosulfonic acid, but was less effective in salt and alkaline media.

Analysis of Flow Dynamics in the High-Flux Gas-Solid Riser Using Trajectory Distances across Attractors Reconstructed from Solid Concentration Signals

The study of the entrance and wall dynamics of a high-flux gas-solid riser was conducted using trajectory distances of the reconstructed attractors from solid concentration signals collected from a 76 mm internal diameters and 10 m high riser of a circulating fluidized bed (CFB) system. The riser was operated at 4.0 to 10.0 m/s gas velocity and 50 to 550 kg/m2s solids flux. Spent fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) catalyst particles with 67 μm mean diameter and density of 1500 kg/m3 together with 70% to 80% humid air was used. Solid concentration data were analyzed using codes prepared in FORTRAN 2008 to get trajectories of the reconstructed attractors and their distances apart. Trajectory distances were found to increase from the centre towards the wall indicating the expansion of the attractor. The probability density function (PDF) of the trajectory distances changes from single peak at the centre to multiple peaked profiles in the wall region. multiple peaked profiles indicate multifractal flow behaviours. Cumulative distribution functions (CDF) of the trajectory distances changes from single S-shaped at the centre to multiple S-shaped profiles in some locations of the wall region indicating multifractal flow behaviours. The PDF distribution of these distances at the entrance section and in the wall region forms different types of statistical distributions showing differences in gas-solid flow structures in various spatial locations of the wall region and the entrance sections. most of the distributions at the centre fall under the Gumbel max distribution for all flow development sections of the riser, especially at air velocities of 5.5 m/s and 8 m/s showing uniform flow structures. Further, it was found that increase of the number of the phase space reconstruction embedding dimension increases the trajectory distances between the state vectors leading to the expansion of the attractor.

The equilibrium and kinetic studies for the mixture dyeing of silk with acid dyes have been made. The results of the binary mixture dyeing of silk suggested that so-called”blocking phenomenon”took place in the similar manner to the nylon dyeing. The rate constants of silk dyeing and diffusion coefficient of the dye in silk were obtained. the presence of sodium slkysulfate in the dyeing was found to slow the dyeing rate,but accelerat thedye diffusion.
