Fugitive road dust(FRD)contributes a great deal to urban rainwater and air pollution and is commonly controlled by water-sprinkling in most Chinese ***,there is a lack of information on its *** used the Testing Re-entrained Aerosol Kinetic Emissions from Roads(TRAKER)method to monitor different types of roads in Baoding city before and within 1 hr after water-sprinkling and obtained the road dirtiness index(a)and PM concentration in the road environment(T^(∗)_(T)),to evaluate the removal efficiency for PM deposited on the road surface(ηa)and the reduction efficiency for the PM concentration in the road environment(ηPM).The results give that theηa for three types of roads is ranked:branch road(87%-–100%)>major arterial road(80%-83%)>minor arterial road(68%-77%),and the ηPM ranked:minor arterial road(70%)>branch road(46%-58%)>major arterial road(37%-53%).Theηa andηPM varied non-linearly with time and presented a quadratic *** average effective control time(ηa>0)was 62min on themajor andminor arterial roads,and much longer than 1 hr on branch *** ηPM values diminished completely by 72 min on average from the end of sprinkling for the three types of ***-sprinkling can remove PM10 particles from the road surface and reduce their concentration in the road environment more thoroughly than *** findings could be helpful for controlling urban FRD emissions more efficiently and precisely.

A one-pot, solvent-thermal process was used to create the ultrafine ZnFe2O4nanoparticles *** the solvent-thermal process, the in situ self-forming NaCl not only served as a "cage" to confine the ion diffusion, but also acted as a microreactor for nanocrystallite growth. An average particle size of ～10 nm and a high-specific surface area of～112.9 m2/g were observed for the ultrafine ZnFe2O4nanoparticles Owing to the synergistic effect of ultrafine particle size, the full utilization of the visible light region and high conduction band(CB) position, ultrafine ZnFe2O4photocatalyst displayed an efficient photocatalytic CO2reduction under visible light illumination. Besides, the ultrafine ZnFe2O4photocatalyst showed high production selectivity for CH3CHO and C2H5OH generation in aqueous CO2/NaHCO3solution. This work may provide a new idea for the synthesis of new high-efficiency photocatalysts.

Precipitation of topologically close-packed phases in a Re-containing Ni-base single crystal superalloy was studied under elevated temperature by in situ transmission electron *** 1150℃,a new intergrowth structure called C phase was found within μ phase with a defined crystallographic orientation *** mapping analysis reveals that C phase has a similar element composition as μ phase,but contains a lower level of Cr,W and *** increasing temperature,the proportion of C phase increases *** 1250℃,C phase becomes the dominant *** is demonstrated that C phase is more thermodynamically stable than μ phase above 11509 that leads to an intergrowth pathway from μ phase to C phase.

Photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction to valuable chemical compounds could be a promising approach for carbon-neutral *** this work,a simple and robust thermal decomposition process was developed with ammonium carbonate((NH4)2CO3)as both precipitation agent and sacrificial template to produce fine Nb_(2)O_(5) nanoparticles with the rich existence of surface hydroxyl(–OH)*** was found by density functional theory(DFT)calculations and experiments that the rich existence of the surface–OH groups enhanced the adsorption of both reactants(CO_(2) and H_(2)O molecules)for the photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction on these fine Nb_(2)O_(5) nanoparticles,and the highly selective conversion of CO_(2) to the high-value chemical compound of ethylene(C_(2)H_(4),~68μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1) with~100%product selectivity)was achieved under simulated solar illumination without usage of any sacrificial agents or noble metal *** synthesis process may also be readily applied as a surface engineering method to enrich the existence of the surface–OH groups on various metal oxide-based photocatalysts for a broad range of technical applications.

In this paper, we consider the partially nonlinear errors-in-variables models when the non- parametric component is measured with additive error. The profile nonlinear least squares estimator of unknown parameter and the estimator of nonparametric component are constructed, and their asymptotic properties are derived under general assumptions. Finite sample performances of the proposed statistical inference procedures are illustrated by Monte Carlo simulation studies.

采用沉淀浸渍法制备了一系列不同Mo/Sn物质的量比的Mo-Sn催化剂,以CO氧化反应作为探针反应考察不同Mo含量对CO催化氧化反应性能的影响,进一步研究催化剂的活性中心结构及构效关系。结果表明,Mo1Sn20催化剂在300℃实现了CO完全转化,相比纯SnO_(2)催化剂的转化温度降低了50℃。采用XRD、Raman、XPS、H2-TPR及In situ FT-IR等表征手段对催化剂的结构、钼物种价态、氧化还原性等进行了研究。相较于纯SnO_(2)催化剂,当引入较少含量的Mo物种后,Mo1Sn20催化剂比表面积增大为反应提供了更多的活性位点,Mo-Sn之间的相互作用增强使得MoO3部分向MoOx转变,产生较多的Mo^(5+)物种,Mo^(5+)物种的存在促进了氧气的吸附活化以及氧原子的迁移,晶格氧与Mo^(5+)物种共同作用增强了CO的催化性能。

Creation of passivated Nb/N p-n co-doped ZnO nanoparticles and their enhanced photocatalytic performance under visible light illumination

Passivated niobium/nitrogen(Nb-N) p-n co-doped zinc oxide nanoparticles were created by a simple precipitation process with in-situ self-formed NaCl "cage" to confine the nanoparticle growth followed by the heat treatment in a flow of ammonia gas. Enhanced optical absorbance into the visible light region was observed in the Nb/N co-doped ZnO nanoparticle photocatalyst due to the Nb/N co-doping *** demonstrated a largely enhanced photocatalytic performance in the disinfection of Escherichia coli bacteria under visible light illumination, which could be attributed to the passivated co-doping of NbN to suppress the photogenerated charge carrier recombination on dopants. This robust approach for passivated p-n co-doping may also be applied to other material systems for a wide range of technical applications.

Poly（ethylene glycol） diacrylate/polyvinyl alcohoI（PEGDA/PVA） hydrogels were prepared from PEGDA and PVA as precurors by means of single UV radiation（UV ra.）, UV radiation followed by high energy electron beam irradiation（Irra.）, UV radiation followed by freeze-thawing（FT） or UV ra. and Irra. followed by FT, respectively. 2-Hydroxy-l-[4-（hydroxyethoxy）phenyl]-2-methyl-l-propanone（Irgacure 2959） was used as a photoinitiator. The effects of the various methods on the swelling and mechanical properties of the hydrogels were investigated. The results show that hydrogels made by UV ra. plus high energy electron beam irradiation followed by FT showed a higher crosslinking density and a larger tensile strength than those made by the other methods.

This study focuses on the effects of different cold-drawing deformations and aging treatments of solid solution A286 *** grain configuration,texture,precipitates and tensile strength of A286 superalloy after different deformations and aging treatments were investigated by optical microscopy(OM),field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM),electron back-scattered diffraction(EBSD)and mechanical testing *** grain size and configuration of A286 alloy can hardly be changed during aging *** initially equiaxial and twinned crystals are obvious when deformation is less than30%,while the grain boundaries become blurry and slip bands appear after 35% deformation or more.γ’ phase and Cr-rich carbide are the precipitates of A286 *** each deformation,γ’ phase plays a major role during aging and its amount increases gradually when the aging temperature changes from 650 to 680℃,and a maximum tensile strength appears when following two-stage *** deformation increasing,the amounts of γ’ phase and Crrich carbide increase in varying ***,thewire textures become more obvious,the tensile strength is enhanced and the kernel average misorientation(KAM)increases gradually;the higher KAM of crystal lattices diffuses from the grain boundary to the matrix gradually.
