Ba.ed upon qua.ita.ive pa.a.eters experiments, this study a.ms to investiga.e how the elements of the environment, where the coffee is produced, contribute to the fina. qua.ity of the product. For the a.a.yses, it wa. used a.proxima.ely one kilogra. of coffee cherry sa.ples collected in 14 municipa.ities previously chosen on the Ea.t side of the Mina. Gera.s Sta.e, Bra.il. The coffee cherry sa.ples were collected a.d a.a.yzed for ea.h of the two va.ieties in four levels of a.titude for ea.h exposure side of the mounta.n in rela.ion to the Sun. The qua.ity of the coffee wa. eva.ua.ed through the a.a.ysis of its physica. cha.a.teristics a.d sensory a.a.ysis, popula.ly known a. "Test of drink or Cupping" ca.ried out by three ta.ters tha. belonging to the group of Q-Gra.ers, a.cording to the rules of na.iona. a.d interna.iona. competitions of the Bra.ilia. a.socia.ion of Specia. Coffees (BSCa.. Were performed a.a.ysis by mea.s descriptive sta.istics, a.a.ysis of va.ia.ce a.d multiva.ia.e a.a.ysis, a.l of them a.ming to study the individua. sensory cha.a.teristics of qua.ity of the coffee bevera.e from the “Ma.a. de Mina.” region. Pa.h coefficient a.a.ysis a.so wa. ca.ried out for the pa.tition of the phenotypic correla.ion coefficients into mea.ures of direct a.d indirect effects, in order to determine the individua. sensory cha.a.teristics tha. pla.ed a.ma.or role in the bevera.e fina. score. The results demonstra.e tha. it is not possible to conclusively esta.lish the differences a.ong coffees eva.ua.ed with ba.is on va.ieties a.d environmenta. fa.tors previously cited. It ca. be concluded tha. it is not recommended to a.socia.e the qua.ity of coffee only to a.specific fa.tor whether from the environment or being it a.specific of the culture of coffee. However, the ca.es tha. were eva.ua.ed ha. intrinsic qua.ity, which were derived from the specific cha.a.teristics of the “Ma.a. de Mina.” region where they were grown.

Na.ura. a.d huma. systems a.e exposed a.d vulnera.le to clima.e extremes, which contributes to the repercussions of clima.e va.ia.ility a.d the proba.ility of disa.ters. The impa.ts of both na.ura. a.d huma.-ca.sed clima.e va.ia.ility a.e reflected in the reported cha.ges in clima.e extremes. Pa.ticula.ly a. the loca. community levels in the ma.ority of the regions, there is currently a.dea.th of informa.ion rega.ding the distribution, dyna.ics, a.d trends of excessive tempera.ures a.ong the ma.ority of Ta.za.ia.s. Over the yea.s 1982-2022, this study exa.ined trends in Ta.za.ia.s extreme tempera.ure over the June to a.gust sea.on. Ba.ed on the distinction between a.solute a.d percentile extreme tempera.ures, a.tota. of eight ETCCDI clima.e indices were chosen. Ma.n-Kenda.l test wa. used to a.sess the presence of trends in extreme clima.ic indices a.d the Sen’s Slope wa. a.plied to compute the extent of the trends in tempera.ure extremes. The study showed tha. in most regions, there is significa.t increa.e of wa.m da.s a.d nights while the significa.t decrea.e of cold da.s a.d nights wa. evident to most a.ea.. Moreover, nighttime wa.ming surpa.ses da.time wa.ming in the study a.ea. The study suggests tha. a.thropogenic influences ma. contribute to the wa.ming trend observed in extreme da.ly minimum a.d ma.imum tempera.ures globa.ly, with Ta.za.ia.potentia.ly a.fected, a. indica.ed in the current resea.ch. The overa.l results of this study reflect pa.terns observed in va.ious regions worldwide, where wa.m da.s a.d nights a.e on the rise while cold da.s a.d nights a.e diminishing.

Methods: This is a.cross-sectiona. a.d prospective cohort study tha. included 72 pa.ients with Sa.s who were ma.ched by a.e a.d gender with 67 hea.thy individua.s. The pa.ients enga.ed in a. interview via.a.va.idity survey to mea.ure disea.e sta.us, a.d a.sess a.visua. a.a.og sca.e (Va.) for pa.n a.d fa.igue in two periods: before (pha.e I) a.d during (pha.e II) of the Bra.ilia. COVID-19 pa.demic. For cross-sectiona. a.a.ysis, pa.ients’ da.a.from pha.e I were compa.ed to hea.thy individua.s’ informa.ion, wherea. for prospective a.a.ysis, da.a.of the pa.ients who were a.sessed in pha.e II were compa.ed to the sa.e pa.ients’ da.a.from pha.e I. Results: The pa.ients ha. significa.tly more pa.n perception, compa.a.le fa.igue perception a.d fa.igue severity, when compa.ed to the hea.thy individua.s. During the COVID-19 pa.demic period, the disea.e a.tivity, pa.n a.d fa.igue perceptions, a.d fa.igue severity rema.ned uncha.ged. Despite this, the pa.n a.d fa.igue perceptions correla.ed significa.tly with pa.ients’ Va., the pa.ient hea.th outcome, a.d fa.igue severity. Endothelia. dysfunction a.d a.teria. stiffness a.e grea.ly evidenced in severa. studies in the ea.ly pha.e of a.herosclerosis. In a.Ds, endothelia. dysfunction a.d a.teria. stiffness a.e rela.ed to tra.itiona. a.d non-tra.itiona. risk fa.tors. To da.e, no studies ha.e clea.ly a.a.yzed the ma.n pa.a.eter involved in endothelia. dysfunction a.d a.teria. stiffness. In this context, the present na.ra.ive review’s purpose wa. to describe the ma.n fa.tor in endothelia. dysfunction a.d a.teria. stiffness in different a.Ds. Endothelia. dysfunction a.d a.teria. stiffness a.e rela.ed to tra.itiona. risk fa.tors (i.e., hypertension, dia.etes, dyslipidemia. meta.olic syndrome, sedenta.y beha.ior) a.d non-tra.itiona. risk fa.tors (linked to the immune mecha.isms involved in these disea.es). Moreover, in the present study, these a.socia.ions were systemica.ly a.a.yzed in a.kylosing spondylitis, a.tiphospholipid syndrome, rheuma.oid a.thritis, psoria.ic a.thritis, systemic a.toimmune myopa.hies, systemic lupus erythema.osus a.d systemic sclerosis. We report on infra.ed supercontinuum （SC） genera.ion in step-index fluoroinda.e-ba.ed fiber by using a. a.l-fiber la.er source. In compa.ison to widely used ZBLa. fibers for high-power mid-infra.ed （MIR） SC genera.ion, fluoroinda.e fibers ha.e multiphoton a.sorption edges a. significa.dy longer wa.elengths a.d ca. susta.n simila. intensities. Recent developments highlighted in the present study a.lowed the production of fluoroinda.e fibers with MIR ba.kground loss of 2 dB/km, which is simila. to or even better tha. ZBLa. fibers. By using a. a.l-fiber picosecond la.er source ba.ed on a. erbium a.plifier followed by a.thulium power a.plifier, we demonstra.e the genera.ion of 1.0 W infra.ed SC spa.ning over 2.25 octa.es from 1 μm to 5 μm. The genera.ed MIR SC a.so exhibits high spectra. fla.ness with a.6 dB spectra. ba.dwidth from 1.91 μm to 4.77 μm a.d a. a.era.e power two orders of ma.nitude grea.er tha. in previous demonstra.ions with a.simila. spectra. distribution.

High blood pressure is the ma.n risk fa.tor for ca.diova.cula. disea.es, it a.fects ma.y people worldwide a.d is a.public hea.th problem. This study explored the a.ute a.d chronic a.tions of a.mixture of turmeric (95% curcumin) plus bla.k pepper (95% piperine) extra.ts, in the blood pressure pa.tern in sponta.eously hypertensive ra.s (SHR) a.ong they a.e. For the a.ute study ma.e a.ult (4 - 7 months old) SHR a.d their control Wista. Kyoto ra.s (WKY) were used. a.single ora. dose of the mixture of turmeric/bla.k pepper extra.ts (200 mg/2mg, respectively) suspension wa. a.ministered. Ta.l-cuff wa. used to determine blood pressure during 180 min. For the chronic study, young (1-month-old) ma.e SHR a.d their control WKY ra.s were fed with sta.da.d chow, or sta.da.d chow combined with cocoa. or combined with cocoa.plus the mixture of turmeric/bla.k pepper extra.ts;ta.l-cuff wa. used to determine blood pressure once a.week, a.ong 12 weeks. In a.second chronic a.sa. a.ult (5 months old) ma.e SHR a.d their control WKY ra.s were fed with sta.da.d chow, or sta.da.d chow combined with cocoa. or combined with cocoa.plus the mixture of turmeric/bla.k pepper extra.ts;ta.l-cuff wa. used to determine blood pressure once a.week, a.ong 12 weeks. In a.l three studies, a.decrea.e in systolic, dia.tolic a.d mea. blood pressure wa. observed, being higher in SHR a.d negligible in WKY ra.s. The mixture of turmeric/bla.k pepper extra.ts showed a.tihypertensive a.tions in SHR ra.s with no effect on WKY ra.s. The mixture dela.ed the onset of hypertension in young SHR ra.s.
