This research was carried out to assess the effect of different varieties and mulching types on insect and disease infestation,and the yield of *** experiment was conducted in Sangkat TuekVil,KrongSiem Reap,in Cambodia.A 2×4 factorial in RCBD(Randomized Complete Blocks Design)was used to layout the trial,in which two varieties(Texas Early Grano 502 PRR and Earth F1)and four mulch types(non-mulch,rice Straw,silver plastic mulching and black plastic mulching)were used as the *** of these treatments was to enhance soil temperature,leaf number plant-1,stand count,bulb diameter,single bulb weight,insect incidence,disease incidence and bulb yield are different to all *** the result,the bulb yields of onions among these treatments were found superior in Texas Early Grano 502 PRR combined with Black Plastic mulch followed by Texas Early Grano 502 PRR combined with silver plastic mulch and Texas Early Grano 502 PRR combined rice straw mulch,whereas the lowest was found in Earth F1combined with non-mulch.

Southeast Asian aborigines, the hunter-gatherer populations living in tropical rainforests, exhibit distinct morphological phenotypes, including short stature, dark skin, curly hair and a wide and snub nose. The underlying genetic architecture and evolutionary mechanism of these phenotypes remain a long-term mystery. We conducted whole genome deep sequencing of 81 Cambodian aborigines from eight ethnic groups. Through a genome-wide scan of selective sweeps, we discovered key genes harboring Cambodian-enriched mutations that may contribute to their phenotypes, including two hair morphogenesis genes(TCHH and TCHHL1), one nasal morphology gene(PAX3) and a set of genes(such as ENTPD1-AS1) associated with short stature. The identified new genes and novel mutations suggest an independent origin of the distinct phenotypes in Cambodian aborigines through parallel evolution, refuting the long-standing argument on the common ancestry of these phenotypes among the worldwide rainforest hunter-gatherers. Notably, our discovery reveals that various types of molecular mechanisms, including antisense transcription and epigenetic regulation, contribute to human morphogenesis, providing novel insights into the genetics of human environmental adaptation.

The Milestone of Cambodian First Oil Production in the Khmer Basin, Gulf of Thailand

As an ASEAN member country, Cambodia is the eighth country to produce oil from its maritime water in late 2020. The first oil was produced from Cambodian Block A (CBA) which covers most of the Khmer basin, located in the east and in the north of producing oil and gas Pattani and Malay basin respectively, in the Gulf of Thailand (GoT). Before being an oil-producing country, Cambodia has been involved in a long history of exploration activities since the 1970s with international companies including Elf-Erap, Marine Associate, Enterprise, Campex, Premier, etc. The first phase of petroleum development was initiated by Chevron Texaco in 2010 when this US company submitted the Petroleum Permit Application (PPA) to the government of Cambodia. The company failed to reach an agreement with the government on revenue sharing, then KrisEnergy bought out the working interest in 2014 and became the only operator of CBA. A justified Mini Phase 1A was operated by KrisEnergy to flow the oil from six production wells in the Apsara area where there is still a high risk of geological information and time constrain. Apsara area which covers the most prospective petroleum exploration geological trend in Cambodian water was built a minimal facility platform and used the production barge, Ingenium II, to separate the reservoir fluids. As long as the accumulative oil production reached about 300,000 bbl for about five months, the operator of CBA went into the liquidation. In the primary plan, this initial phase was expected to produce 7500 bopd at the peak, however it actually produced the oil less than double in the end. This situation indicated the underperformance of Mini Phase 1A, which resulted in a huge declination of each well capacity. This underperformance of Mini Phase 1A seemed express clearly the results of the uncertainties of petroleum formation, the complexities of the particular reservoir properties in the CBA and the inappropriate method of Mini Phase 1A. Preservation of female fertility is an important issue today. However, there are few effective clinical options for preserving female fertility. Firstly, conventional in vitro fertilization （IVF） followed by embryo cryopreservation is an accepted procedure but is not applicable to all women. Embryo freezing is suitable only for women with a male partner and may not be acceptable to some patients due to moral and religious reasons. Ovarian tissue freezing is another option of female fertility preservation but is an invasive procedure and the efficacy of this technique remains to be determined. Oocyte cryopreservation is also method for fertility preservation. Egg freezing is minimally invasive and can avoid the ethical and moral concerns related to cryopreservation of embryos. However, conventional slow freezing/rapid thawing methods are associated with low survival of oocytes. Recent development in vitrification of oocytes appears promising. Therefore, vitrification of unfertilized eggs may be a novel method to preserve female fertility.

Lithogeochemistry of Intrusive Rocks in the Halo Porphyry Copper-Molybdenum Prospect, Northeast Cambodia

The Halo copper-molybdenum prospect is a porphyry system in Ratanakiri province, northeastern part of Cambodia. There is only one research was carried out on this prospect about geological mapping and short wave infrared (SWIR) spectroscopy on alteration mineral identification. The purpose of this research is to confirm the deposit type from previous Angkor Gold’s report and find the centre of porphyry deposit based on characteristic of intrusive rocks at surface and subsurface, characteristics of the intrusive rocks and alteration lithogeochemistry of intrusive and volcanic rocks by using Pearce Element Ratio (PER) analysis. PER analysis was used to examine the nature and extend of the alteration halos in the porphyry Halo copper-molybdenum prospect. The intrusive rocks and volcanic rocks in Halo, range from diorite to granite (quartz feldspar porphyry) in composition as well as dacite to trachyandesite (andesite porphyry) in composition, respectively. They were formed in a subduction-related tectonic setting, likely a volcanic arc. Trace elements spider diagrams were normalized to primitive mantle display strong enrichment in large-ion lithophile elements such as Rb, Ba and K and depletion in some high-field strength elements such as Nb and Ti, suggesting magmas generated in a subduction-related tectonic setting. PER analysis indicates a moderate to high degree of sericite alteration of dacites, quartz feldspar porphyries, andesite porphyries and granodiorite porphyries. Moreover, three alterations in the Halo prospect such as potassic (secondary K-feldspar and biotite), phyllic (sericite) and propylitic (epidote) alteration were identified, which are consistent with petrography analysis. The potassic alteration zone is vectoring center of the hydrothermal system which may represent the locus of mineralization. 本文通过使用财务比率分析研究中国汽车企业。数据来源于2006年至2010年间的十家上市汽车企业财务数据。为了研究中国汽车公司在全球市场的绩效，本文也研究了一些中国汽车公司的生产能力。特别的，这些分析通过使用SPSS统计软件的处理分析四组指标比率，包括流动性比率、利润率、偿债能力以及运营活动。本文集中于量化企业业绩，包括比较公司的盈利能力（利润）、短期偿债能力（流动性）、长期偿债能力（偿债能力）和管理财务运作能力（营运活动）。中国汽车企业的实证研究的结果表明，流动比率、速动比率、现金比率等财务指标具备将现金转化为支付短期成本和债务的能力。本文发现中国汽车企业虽然维持着较低的净利率和毛利率，但具备较高的资产周转率。中国汽车企业的平均赊销货款回收期为87天，其中最大的为376天，最小的为10天。统计数据显示存货周转率较低的企业有较高的平均存货周期，相反，存货周转率较高的企业有较低的平均存货周期。存货表明企业经营活动不善，而对于大部分中国汽车企业在提高库存管理和控制方面有较大的改善空间。最后，通过t检验，这些企业的财务比率，如流动性比率（流动比率和速动比率）、盈利能力比率（净利润率、资产周转率、毛利润率）、营运能力比率（赊销货款回收期、存货周转率、存货周期）都小于它们的均值。另外，偿债能力比率、负债比率都大于平均值，权益负债率小于其均值。本文的结果和随后的讨论认为只能通过了解会计准则、商业惯例、和受经济环境影响的因素来确保对中国汽车企业财务比率的成功综合分析。不同标准的企业可能存在一些差别的解释。

BACKGROUND There remains a dearth of Asian epidemiological literature for paediatric inflammatory bowel disease(PIBD).AIM To describe the presenting features of PIBD from 7 Asia-Pacific pediatric gastroenterology centers via a central standardised electronic data *** Clinical,endoscopic and radiologic data at diagnosis from the registry were extracted between 1^(st) January 1995 to 31^(st) December *** phenotypic characteristics were classified as per the Paris classification *** There was a distinct rise in new PIBD cases:Nearly half(48.6%)of the cohort was diagnosed in the most recent 5 years(2015-2019).The ratio of Crohn’s disease(CD):Ulcerative colitis(UC):IBDUnclassified was 55.9%:38.3%:5.8%.The mean age was 9.07 years with a high proportion of very early onset IBD(VEO-IBD)(29.3%)and EO-IBD(52.7%).An over-representation of the Indian/South Asian ethnic group was observed which accounted for 37.0% of the overall Singapore/Malaysia subcohort(6.8%-9.0%Indians in census).Indian/South Asian CD patients were also most likely to present with symptomatic perianal disease(P=0.003).CD patients presented with significantly more constitutional symptoms(fever,anorexia,malaise/fatigue and muscle-wasting)than UC and higher inflammatory indices(higher C-reactive protein and lower albumin levels).CONCLUSION We observed a high incidence of VEO-IBD and an over-representation of the Indian *** Asian CD patients were more likely to have symptomatic perianal disease.

This paper is a case-study report on the project Shaping New Ways to Approach Education in Cambodia,which surveyed over 1200 secondary students in 8 schools from 3 provinces and one capital city in Cambodia to find out students’ perspectives toward education,as well as implementing innovative activities to introduce active learning *** project has had an empirical component and an action research *** empirical component has been survey based to explore students’ attitudes towards *** conducted our first survey in 2010 and found that students value education;however,they had difficulties regarding low self-esteem,lack of inspiration,worst of all,they perceive that cheating during exam is *** verify the first survey’s findings,we re-conducted the survey in *** to the first survey results,the second survey showed that students valued education since 96% of students believe that education is important and more than 83% want to pursue higher education regardless of their social-economic *** findings also shows that family problems and poverty are the most common factors discouraging students to continue education and teachers are seen as the main actor encouraging students to continue *** the second survey,we also conducted educational workshops designed in response to the first survey *** this action-research component,we had 200 secondary students in two schools to join our workshops regarding improving their leadership,communication,and creativity skills through a range of active learning activities,including diary writing,presenting,creating cards,reading about the life stories of successful individuals as well as showing them *** found that students were enthusiastic to learn and participate in our workshops;they tried to share ideas in their dairies,demonstrated enormous creativity in the cards making,and applied their limited knowledge to solve their community ***

目的探讨骨形态发生蛋白15(BMP15)基因多态性与复发性葡萄胎(RHMs)和习惯性流产(RSAs)的相关性。方法收集2012年10月-2013年9月在加拿大麦吉尔大学人类健康中心妇产科治疗的77例不同种族的RHMs和习惯性流产妇女的血液标本,采用基因外显子测序分析患者BMP15基因的多态性,并采用蛋白功能预测软件预测各SNPs对BMP15蛋白功能的影响。结果在BMP15基因2个外显子中共检测到5个错义突变和1个插入突变。其中在外显子1中检测到2个错义突变(p.S5R和p.N103S);在外显子2中检测到3个错义突变(p.L148P,p.A180T,p.H200Y)和1个插入突变,(***263dup)。通过预测,p.L148P突变可能会严重影响BMP15蛋白的活性进而影响卵巢功能,而p.S5R突变的影响相对较小,其余SNPs对BMP15蛋白功能基本无影响。结论 BMP15基因突变除了可能与RHMs和习惯性流产妇女的卵泡生成障碍及卵巢功能早衰相关,还可能导致葡萄胎恶变。
