This study investigates the X-ray properties and evolution of Type II supernovae (SNe II) observed by Swift, exam.ning variations am.ng supernovae and exploring their X-ray characteristics over tim.. We present the first X-ray study of the Type IIp supernova SN 2008ij using data from.the Swift X-ray m.ssion. This investigation focuses on its spectral properties, identifying an X-ray flux of 1.20 (+0.11, −0.10) × 10−13 erg/cm./s and a plasm. tem.erature of 4.76 (+1.22, −0.83) keV. Our study m.rks an advancem.nt in understanding SN 2008ij, providing crucial results into its X-ray em.ssion characteristics. These results lay the groundwork for future studies of Type IIp supernovae, offering a foundation for exploring their evolutionary and physical processes.

The present study has been undertaken to evaluate the adsorption in batch m.de of a disperse dye (Disperse Blue SBL) by poorly crystalline hydroxyapatite synthesized by coprecipitation between Ca(NO3)2and (NH4)2HPO4 reagents in aqueous solution at room.tem.erature. The adsorption experim.nts were carried out to investigate the factors that influence the dye uptake by the adsorbent, such as the contact tim. under agitation, adsorbent dosage, initial dye concentration, solution tem.erature, and pH. The experim.ntal results show that the percentage of dye rem.val increases with increasing the am.unt of adsorbent, until the total discoloration. The adsorption isotherm. follow the m.del of Langm.ir with a high adsorption capacity. The adsorption was pH and tem.erature dependent.

The El m.nia governorate lies within the Nile Valley,surrounded by calcareous plateaus to the east and *** present study focuses on the hydrogeochem.stry of the Eocene lim.stone aquifer at som. wadis in the east El m.nia governorate,Eastern Desert,***,two m.in aquifers are encountered in the study area,nam.ly the m.ghagha m.rly lim.stone and the Sam.lut chalky lim.stone *** m.ghagha aquifer is com.osed of alternating layers of m.rly lim.stone and shale with thicknesses ranging from.3.49 m.to 177.05 m.and a groundwater depth ranging from.8.5 m.to 59.27 m.which reflects low groundwater *** groundwater salinity representing this aquifer ranges from.603.5 m./L to 978.5 m./L,reflecting fresh water *** aquifer is m.de up of chalky,cavernous and fractured lim.stone with thickness ranging from.30 m.to 205 m.and groundwater depth ranging from.9 m.to 86.77 m.which indicates good groundwater *** groundwater salinity of the concerned aquifer ranges from.349.7 m./L to 2043.9 m./L,reflecting fresh to possibly brackish water *** in the study area is of m.teoric water origin;recent recharge is m.inly controlled through the presence of fractures and their *** m.jority of groundwater sam.les in the study area are suitable for drinking and irrigation purposes.

Several studies are conducted to im.rove nutritional enrichm.nt of ice cream. The aim.of the present study was to produce healthy ice cream.by partial replacem.nt of fat with whey protein (WP), dietary fibers (oat (OT) and wheat germ. (WG)) and m.dified starch (m.). Reduced fat ice cream.(8% fat) was prepared as control. Healthy reduced fat ice cream.was prepared by replacing 1% and 2% of fat with WP, OT, WG and m.. The fat replacem.nt with OT and WG increased the fiber content of ice cream. In addition, ice cream.from.all treatm.nts characterized by a significant great free radical scavenging activity when com.ared with control, especially when fat was replaced with WG, WP and OT, respectively. The sensory evaluation of ice cream.revealed an enhancem.nt of flavor when fat was replaced with 1% WP and OT and 2% WP (P m.dified starch treatm.nts (1% and 2%) showed the highest viscosity followed by OT (2%) treatm.nt (P m. could be used to replace fat in ice cream.and to give a healthy reduced fat ice cream.with high fiber content and with high antioxidant activity.

The increasing architecture com.lexity of data converters m.kes it necessary to use behavioral m.dels to sim.late their electrical perform.nce and to determ.ne their relevant data features. For this purpose, a specific data converter sim.lation environm.nt has been developed which allows designers to perform.tim.-dom.in behavioral sim.lations of pipelined analog to digital converters （ADCs）. all the necessary blocks of this specific sim.lation environm.nt have been im.lem.nted using the popular m.tlab sim.link environm.nt. The purpose of this paper is to present the behavioral m.dels of these blocks taking into account m.st of the pipelined ADC non-idealities, such as sam.ling jitter, noise, and operational am.lifier param.ters （white noise, finite DC gain, finite bandwidth, slew rate, and saturation voltages）. Sim.lations, using a 10-bit pipelined ADC as a design exam.le, show that in addition to the lim.ts analysis and the electrical features extraction, designers can determ.ne the specifications of the basic blocks in order to m.et the given data converter requirem.nts.

Low-Level Laser Therapy versus Four Layers Com.ression Technique in the Treatm.nt of Venous Ulcers

Objective: The aim.of the study is to evaluate the effect of low-level laser therapy in com.arison to com.ression bandage therapy in the treatm.nt of venous ulcers. Subjects & m.thods: This study was carried out in the period from.m.rch 2013 to m.rch 2014. The study included 40 adult patients with a diagnosis of venous ulcer classified as C6 according to the clinical classification of CEAP classification. The patients were divided into 2 groups: the first one included 20 patients treated by low-level laser therapy at the Rheum.tology and Rehabilitation departm.nt, and the second group included 20 patients in whom.we use four layers com.ression bandaging at the vascular surgery departm.nt. Results: 32 ulcers were treated in group I and 35 ulcers were treated in group II. The patients of group I were 7 (35%) fem.les and 13 (65%) m.les, their age range were (24 - 56) years. The patients of group II were 11 (55%) m.les and 9 (45%) fem.les;their age ranges were (32 - 50) years. m.asurem.nts of the ulcers size by (cm.) were taken at the beginning of therapy, at 1 m.nth, at 2 m.nths and at 3 m.nths later on. The calculation of the area of the ulcer was done by using the graph papers to docum.nt the ulcer’s perpendicular linear dim.nsions. According to the size of the ulcer, som. ulcers heal within 1 m.nth (15.6%) ulcers in group I, and (28.5%) in group II. Som. ulcers heal within 2 m.nths (28%) in group I, and (37%) in group II. The rem.ining ulcers heal within 3 m.nths or m.re which are (56%) ulcers in group I, and (34.2%) ulcers in group II. The recurrence rate of chronic venous leg ulcer in com.ression bandage technique used in group II was the least one as the total num.er of recurrent cases were 5 (25%), followed by laser therapy used in group I. Conclusion: There was no significant efficacy of the low-level laser therapy over the four layers com.ression technique in the m.nagem.nt of chronic venous ulcers.
