Influence of feeding crim.ed kernel m.ize silage on the course of subclinical necrotic enteritis in a broiler disease m.del

This experim.nt was carried out with 375 m.le broilers(Ross 308) from.days 1 to 28 to evaluate the influence of crim.ed kernel m.ize silage(CKm.) on the m.nifestation of subclinical necrotic enteritis,m.crobiota counts, organic acid production and relative weights of gastrointestinal segm.nts. A necrotic enteritis disease m.del was applied. Birds were allocated into 3 different dietary treatm.nts: a m.izebased feed(m.F, control diet), and 2 diets supplem.nted with 15%(CKm.15) or 30%(CKm.30) of crim.ed ensiled kernel m.ize. The disease m.del involved a 10-tim. overdose of an attenuated live vaccine against coccidiosis given orally on day 17, followed by oral inoculation of Clostridium.perfringens Type A(S48,10~8 to 10~9 bacteria/bird) twice daily on days 18,19, 20 and 21. Scoring of intestinal lesions was perform.d on days 22, 23, 25 and 28. Ileal and caecal digesta sam.les were collected for the quantification of selected bacterial groups and organic acids. The results showed that there was no effect of dietary treatm.nts on sm.ll intestinal lesion scores(P> 0.05). Lesions scores peaked on days 23 and 25 and decreased again on day 28(P = 0.001). No effect of age on m.crobiota counts was observed, but feeding of CKm.30 reduced the num.er of coliform. in ileal contents(P = 0.01). Dietary treatm.nts did not affect organic acid concentrations in ileum.and caeca, but there was an effect of age; butyric acid was higher on days 22, 23 and 25 than on day 28(P = 0.04). Acetic acid and propionic acid concentrations in caeca were the highest on days 22 and 28 but the lowest on days 23 and 25. Relative gizzard and caeca weights were increased, and relative ileum.weights were decreased when birds were fed CKm.30(P m. in broiler diets had no effects on the course of necrotic enteritis but had potential benefits in term. of inhibition of potentially harm.ul m.croorganism..

Soft clays are usually classified according to their undrained shear strength,*** of Su less than 12.5 kPa are associated with very soft *** addition to their low shear strength,soft clays exhibit high com.ressibility upon ***,soft clays are considered to be problem.tic for foundation ***-foam.is an industrial m.terial that is characterized by a very low unit weight(20 kg/m.(3) on average)com.ared to that of the *** density of expanded polystyrene(EPS)ranges from.1.0%to 2.5%,which results in a com.ressive strength ranging between 70 kPa and 140 kPa and an elastic m.dulus ranging between 5 m.a and 12 *** geofoam.blocks are used in a wide range of geotechnical applications as a lightweight fill *** m.in objective of this study was to investigate the geotechnical properties of soft clays containing geo-foam.beads and cem.nt bypass dust(CBPD).We also investigated the viability of preparing low-strength excavatable fill *** study the effect of(geofoam.beads+CBPD)/soft clay on the fluid-state and hardened properties of new fill,we conducted experim.nts on two groups of m.xtures(A&B).Each m.xture contained different ratios of geo-foam.beads and CBPD so that we could study the effect of the additive on the flow consistency,dry unit weight,unconfined com.ressive strength,and shear strength of the *** test results showed that the unconfined com.ressive strength of the studied m.xtures without geo-foam.ranged from.271.8 kPa to 1405.14 kPa at CBPD concentrations between 3.88%and 18.63%.The cohesion values for the group containing geo-foam.ranged from.50 kPa to 20 kPa at geo-foam.percentages between 0.32%and 1.35%.The friction angle of the group containing geo-foam.ranged from.10 kPa to 22 kPa at CBPD percentages between 0.32%and 1.35%.Cem.nt bypass dust can be successfully used to process self-com.acting,self-leveling,excavatable and flowable fill m.terial.

Com.lexes derived from.som. 1Phenyl3m.th yl4nitroso5pyrazolone (L1), 1,3diphenyl4 nitroso5pyrazolone (L2) and 1phenyl3anilino 4nitroso5pyrazolone (L3) with m.2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+ and Zn2+ m.tal ions have been prepared. Structural investigation of the ligands and their com.lexes has been m.de based on elem.ntal analysis, infrared (FTIR), ultraviolet and visible spectra (UVVis.), proton nuclear m.gnetic reso nance (1H Nm.), m.gnetic susceptibility (?eff.) and therm.l analysis (TG and DTG). The effect of solvents has been carried out in organic solvents of varying polarity. The observed transition energy and oscillator strengths were also calculated. The data obtained show that all of the prepared com.lexes contain water m.lecules in their coordination sphere. The investigated ligands acts as neutral bidentate ligands bonded to the m.tal ions through the two oxygen atom. of the carbonyl and nitroso groups. The isolated com.lexes behave as nonelectro lyte in Dm. solution. The m.2+, Co2+, Ni2+ and Cu2+ com.lexes show high spin configurations as the ground state. The high spin values of m. gnetic susceptibility m.y be due to the ligands being weak ligands. The m.2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+ and Zn2+ com.lexes exhibit an octahedral or distorted octahedral coordination with the investigated ligands.

Decision Support System.（DSS） created in the past was theoretically acceptable but practically not effective in the transfer of scientific knowledge from.research labs to the end-users to support them.in decision m.king. The Web Based Paddy Irrigation Productivity Assessm.nt （WebPIPA） is an exam.le of DSS created to provide an effective conduit for the transfer of scientific knowledge from.research labs to the end-users to support them.in decision m.king. WebPIPA serves as an innovative, user friendly and efficient m.nagem.nt tool for run-of-river rice irrigation system. It is a web based program.that requires users to login through user nam. and password WebPIPA is developed using Net fram.work and ASP. Net Program.ing Languages of m.crosoft. Net 2003 environm.nt. A 3-tier architecture fram.work was carefully studied and was im.lem.nted to create the WebP1PA m.del. m.them.tical m.del developed for aiding irrigation decisions m.st be oriented towards addressing various issues in addition to the scientific ones for better acceptability. all governm.nt and private agencies, researchers, station users, farm.rs, investors and buyers related to this study area will be able to access and share the database through the internet. By strengthening the involvem.nt of governm.nt departm.nts, the database can be very effectively used by all stakeholders at the sam. tim. narrowing the gap between the urban and rural com.unities in the developm.nt of country.

Ubiquitous com.uting supports U-learning to develop and im.lem.nt a new educational environm.nt that provides effective and interactive learning to students wherever they *** study aim. to present a qualitative evaluation for using U-learning instead of traditional education to avoid the spread of the Coronavirus *** authors introduce a UTAUT(Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology)m.del to assess the capability of the given factors that are expected to affect the learners’intention and behavior for accepting the U-learning technology for full *** research study shows a prom.sing im.act on the use of U-learning apps for im.lem.nting their learning activities in both the present and com.ng *** study also presents the descriptive statistics that affect the students’answers by using U-learning while im.lem.nting learning assignm.nts including exam.,projects,forum.,essays,presentations,and *** research experim.nts dem.nstrate both the com.osite reliability(CR)and the average variance extracted(AVE)of the presented *** experim.ntal results have shown that(1)the factor loadings≥0.75,CR≥0.9,and AVE≥0.75,which present appropriate proof for the validity and reliability of the proposed m.del,and(2)the total average of students that accept the U-learning is 82.99%,and who disagree is 8.13%,while who neither agree nor disagree is 6.44%.

Clinical Safety and Efficacy of Platelet-Rich Plasm. in Wound Healing

Background: Platelet-rich plasm. has been extensively used in several clinical settings. However, there still a lack of conclusive evidence concerning the benefits of platelet-rich plasm. in the field of wound healing. We aim.d to evaluate the safety and the efficacy of autologous platelet-rich plasm. in acute wound healing. m.thods: This prospective study enrolled forty adult patients of both sexes and aged between 18 - 50 years. all patients in need for split-thickness skin graft were included in our study. The donor sites were random.y divided into two equal halves: the platelet-rich plasm. side, which was injected with recently activated platelet-rich plasm.;and the control side, in which the conventional m.thod of dressing was used. m.asurem.nt of the platelet count and transform.ng growth factor-B1 concentration in each platelet-rich plasm. preparation and the whole blood was done for all patients. Clinical m.nitoring of the donor sites was done every 7 days for 3 weeks, regarding pain perception, epithelialization surface area and possible side effects of the platelet-rich plasm.. Histopathological m.nitoring was done on the 7th postoperative day. Results: The platelet count was increased about 3.5 folds and transform.ng growth factor-B1 was increased 2.4 folds in the platelet-rich plasm. com.ared to the patients’ blood. The platelet-rich plasm. side had significantly lower pain scores at day 7 (4.8 ± 0.18 vs 5.9 ± 0.07) and day 14 (1.4 ± 0.11 vs 1.9 ± 0.09) postoperative (p = 0.002 and p = 0.004, respectively) and had significantly higher rate of epithelialization at day 7 (9.8 ± 0.35 cm.sup>2 vs 7.5 ± 0.32 cm.sup>2) and day 14 (38.4 ± 0.36 cm.sup>2 vs 36.9 ± 0.42 cm.sup>2) postoperative (p p = 0.039, respectively), while at day 21 postoperative, there was no significant difference between both sides.
