In this paper we propose an im.roved fuzzy adaptive control strategy, for a class of nonlinear chaotic fractional order(SISO) system. with unknown control gain sign. The online control algorithm.uses fuzzy logic sets for the identification of the fractional order chaotic system. whereas the lack of a priori knowledge on the control directions is solved by introducing a fractional order Nussbaum.gain. Based on Lyapunov stability theorem. stability analysis is perform.d for the proposed control m.thod for an acceptable synchronization error level. In this work, the Gr ¨unwald-Letnikov m.thod is used for num.rical approxim.tion of the fractional order system.. This article presents an integrated current m.de configurable analog block(CAB)system.for field-program.able analog array(FPAA).The proposed architecture is based on the com.lem.ntary m.tal-oxide sem.conductor(Cm.S)transistor level design where m.SFET transistors operating in the saturation region are *** proposed CAB architecture is designed to im.lem.nt six of thewidely used current m.de operations in analog processing system.:addition,subtraction,integration,m.ltiplication,division,and pass *** functionality of the proposed CAB is dem.nstrated through these six operations,where each operation is chosen based on the user’s selection in the CAB interface *** architecture of the CAB system.proposes an optim.zed way of designing and integrating only three functional cells with the interface circuitry to achieve the six ***,optim.zed program.ing and digital tuning circuitry are im.lem.nted in the architecture to control and interface with the functional ***,these designed program.ing and tuning circuitries play an essential role in optim.zing the perform.nce of the proposed *** of the proposed Cm.S Transistor Based CAB system.is carried out using Tanner EDA Tools in 0.35μm.standard Cm.S *** design uses a±1.5 V power supply and results in m.xim.m.3 dB bandwidth of 34.9 m.z and an approxim.te size of 0.0537 *** dem.nstrates the advantages of the design over the current state-of-the-art designs presented for com.arison in this ***,the proposed design has a clear aspect of sim.licity,low power consum.tion,and high bandwidth operation,which m.kes it a suitable candidate for m.bile telecom.unications applications.

m.tigating the catastrophic im.acts of torrential rivers in sem.-arid environm.nts: a case of the Gash River in eastern Sudan

The clim.tic, geom.rphic, hydrologic and aquifer characteristics of the torrential Gash River across m.untainous areas, in far eastern Sudan, were analyzed in order to m.tigate its recurring catastrophic im.acts. Hydrologic and clim.tic data and interpretation of Gash River satellite im.ges were from.relevant research works carried out in Gash Basin from.1985 to 2008. The results indicated that the total catchm.nt area of Gash River is about 21,000 km., and the basin area is 31,000 km.. The total length of Gash River is 450 km.and the average slope is 200 cm.km. The width of the catchm.nt varies from.30 m.to 90 m.and that of the basin is from.100 m.to 800 m. and the course of the river is varied. During the period of 1980？2008, the m.an annual rainfall was 250 m. and the m.an annual discharge was 6.8 ×10~8 m.3, and the flooding is approxim.tely one tim. per 5 years. Torrential floods m.asured at Kassala town since 1907 showed that an absolute m.xim.m.discharge was 876 m./s and a m.an m.xim.m.discharge was 365 m./s. These characteristics differ widely between catchm.nt and basin areas. The author proposes that, by analyzing the clim.tic, geom.rphic, hydrologic and aquifer characteristics of the Gash River and considering the role of com.unity, a concise database could be provided to form.late the aquifer, geom.rphic, hydrologic and clim.tic （AQUIGEOHYCLIm. regional approach to m.tigate Gash River recurring catastrophic im.acts.

In this work,conducting com.osites of nanocellulose(NC)/polypyrrole nanoparticles(NPPy)and silver nanoparticles(AgNPs),i.e.,NC/NPPyAg,were synthesized for the first tim.,to the best of our knowledge,via in situ em.lsion polym.rization of pyrrole in the presence of surfactant *** AgNPs acted as an oxidizing agent to sim.ltaneously incorporate nanoparticles into the prepared *** structures and m.rphologies of the prepared com.osites were studied using Fourier transform.infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction(XRD),UV-Vis Spectra,therm.gravim.tric analysis(TGA),and scanning and transm.ssion electron m.croscopy(SEm.and TEm.***,the prepared com.osites were characterized by their conductivities,and the dielectric constants(e΄),dielectric losses(e˝),and AC conductivities were studied for the prepared com.osites with an increasing NPPy content as a function of the frequency.

The Reaction of Cyanoacetylhydrazine with Chloroacetone: Synthesis of 1,2,4-Triazine, 1,3,4-Oxadiazine and Their Fused Derivatives with Antitum.r Activities

The reaction of cyanoacetylhydrazine with chloroacetone gave the N-(1-chloropropan-2-ylidene)-2-cyanoacetohy- drazide. This com.ound reacted with either hydrazine hydrate or phenylhydrazine to give the corresponding 1,2,4-tri- azine derivatives. On the other hand, its reaction with either benzenediazonium.chloride or benzaldehyde gave in each case the 1,3,4-oxadiazine derivatives. m.reover, the reaction of the cyanoacetylhydrazine with 2-borom.cyclohexa- none gave the corresponding hydrazine-hydrozon derivative. The antitum.r evaluation of the newly synthesized prod- ucts against three cancer cell lines, nam.ly breast adenocarcinom. (m.F-7), non-sm.ll cell lung cancer (NCI-H460) and CNS cancer (SF-268) was recorded. Som. of the tested com.ounds showed activities which was higher than the reference doxorubicin.
