The current field of posterior pole and retinal imaging of the human eye has expanded into detailed analyses of the macula,retinal periphery,individual retinal layers,vitreoretinal interface,imaging of the choroid and the optic nerve *** challenge in retinal imaging is the enduring pursuit of deeper penetration into tissues,increased resolution to the cellular level,and interpretation of *** much deeper can we go and with what resolution and reproducibility?These are fundamental questions for experts in search of novel imaging *** discoveries may resolve existing controversies,but inevitably stimulate new *** technologies in retinal imaging include adaptive optics retinal imaging and optical coherence tomography-based retinal *** this review,the focus of our discussion will be the discrepancy between the findings(interpretation)of one imaging technology that do not agree or are not even found with a complementary *** a clearly seen abnormality is present with one technology but absent in another,what are the possible explanations?Following is a summary of key concepts of retinal and optic nerve imaging modalities and current controversies regarding their interpretation and/or limitations.

Generally,the field of fixed point theory has attracted the attention of researchers in different fields of science and engineering due to its use in proving the existence and uniqueness of solutions of real-world dynamic models.C^(∗)-algebra is being continually used to explain a physical system in quantum field theory and statistical mechanics and has subsequently become an important area of *** concept of a C^(∗)-algebra-valued metric space was introduced in 2014 to generalize the concept of metric *** fact,It is a generalization by replacing the set of real numbers with a C^(∗)-*** that,this line of research continued,where several fixed point results have been obtained in the framework of C^(∗)-algebra valued metric,aswell as(more general)C^(∗)-algebra-valued b-metric spaces andC^(∗)-algebra-valued extended b-metric *** recently,based on the concept and properties of C^(∗)-algebras,we have studied the quasi-case of such spaces to give a more general notion of relaxing the triangular inequality in the asymmetric *** this paper,we first introduce the concept of C^(∗)-algebra-valued quasi-controlledK-metric spaces and prove some fixed point theorems that remain valid in this *** support our main results,we also furnish some exampleswhichdemonstrate theutility of ***,as an application,we useour results to prove the existence and uniqueness of the solution to a nonlinear stochastic integral equation.

A novel magnetic hydrogel loaded with graphene oxide(GO)was developed in this ***,GO was prepared from bagasse through a single step via oxidation in the presence of ferrocene under muffled atmospheric conditions,followed by the loading of different amounts of magnetite onto GO via co-precipitation reaction of iron onto GO ***,the 2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propane sulfonic acid was grafted onto carboxymethyl cellulose in the presence of magnetite GO and N,N′-methylenebisacrylamide as crosslinker yielded *** structure,morphological,and thermal behavior of the prepared hydrogels were *** addition,the adsorption performance of Ni(Ⅱ)ions from aqueous media by the prepared hydrogels was investigated as a function of temperature,time,and concentration of adsorbate in a batch *** results demonstrated a remarkable enhancement in the adsorption process of Ni(Ⅱ)(Removal efficiency=98.82%).All isotherms were found to fit the Langmuir model *** adsorption properties of both magnetic GO and magnetic hydrogel showed promising properties as green and cheap adsorbents.

In this paper, we propose a technique to locate abnormal growth of cells in breast tissue and suggest further pathological test, when require. We compare normal breast tissue with malignant invasive breast tissue by a series of image processing steps. Normal ductal epithelial cells and ductal/lobular invasive carcinogenic cells also consider for comparison here in this paper. In fact, features of cancerous breast tissue （invasive） are extracted and analyses with normal breast tissue. We also suggest the breast cancer recognition technique through image processing and prevention by controlling p53 gene mutation to some extent.

This paper propose a computerized method of magnetic resonance imaging （MR/） of brain binarization for the uses of preprocessing of features extraction and brain ab- normality identification. One of the main problems of MR/ binarization is that many pixels of brain part cannot be cor- rectly binarized due to extensive black background or large variation in contrast between background and foreground of MR/. We have proposed a binarization that uses mean, vari- ance, standard deviation and entropy to determine a thresh- old value followed by a non-gamut enhancement which can overcome the binarization problem of brain component. The proposed binarization technique is extensively tested with a variety of MR/and generates good binarization with im- proved accuracy and reduced error. A comparison is carried out among the obtained outcome with this innovative method with respect to other well-known methods.

The stability analysis of passive bolt-reinforced rock slopes under seismic loads is investigated within the framework of the kinematic approach of limit analysis theory.A pseudo-static method is adopted to account for the inertial forces induced in the rock mass by seismic *** strength properties of the rock material are described by a modified Hoek-Brown strength criterion,whereas the passive bolts are modeled as bar-like inclusions that exhibit only resistance to tensile-compressive *** advantage of the ability to compute closed-form expressions for the support functions associated with the modified Hoek-Brown strength criterion,a rotational failure mechanism is implemented to derive rigorous lower bound estimates for the amount of reinforcement strength to prevent slope *** approach is then applied to investigating the effects of relevant geometry,strength and loading parameters in light of a preliminary parametric *** accuracy of the approach is assessed by comparison of the lower bound estimates with finite element limit analysis solutions,thus emphasizing the ability of the approach to properly predict the stability conditions and to capture the essential features of deformation localization ***,the extension of the approach to account for slipping at the interface between reinforcements and surrounding rock mass is outlined.

Cloud computing is a technology that provides users with a large storage space and an enormous computing ***,the outsourced data are often sensitive and confidential,and hence must be encrypted before being ***,classical search approaches have become obsolete and new approaches that are compatible with encrypted data have become a *** privacy reasons,most of these approaches are based on the vector model which is a time consuming process since the entire index must be loaded and exploited during the search process given that the query vector must be compared with each document *** solve this problem,we propose a new method for constructing a secure inverted index using two key techniques,homomorphic encryption and the dummy documents ***,1)homomorphic encryption generates very large ciphertexts which are thousands of times larger than their corresponding plaintexts,and 2)the dummy documents technique that enhances the index security produces lots of false positives in the search *** proposed approach exploits the advantages of these two techniques by proposing two methods called the compressed table of encrypted scores and the double score ***,we exploit a second secure inverted index in order to manage the users'access rights to the ***,in order to validate our approach,we performed an experimental study using a data collection of one million *** experiments show that our approach is many times faster than any other approach based on the vector model.

The propulsive efficiency of a plunging NACA0012 airfoil is maximized by means of a simple numerical optimization method based on the response surface methodology （RSM）. The control parameters are the amplitude and the reduced frequency of the harmonic sinusoidal motion. The 2D unsteady laminar flow around the plunging airfoil is computed by solving the Navier-Stokes equations for three Reynolds number values （Re = 3.3× 10^3, 1.1×10^4, and 2.2 × 10^4）. The Nelder-Mead algorithm is used to find the best control parameters leading to the optimal propulsive efficiency over the constructed response surfaces. It is found that, for a given efficiency level and regardless of the considered Re value, it is possible either to obtain high thrust by selecting a high oscillation frequency or to reduce the input power by adopting a low plunging amplitude.
