Lanthanum.bearing iron lithium.borate glass is a quaternary system.for oxide glasses and was prepared via the m.lt-quenching *** present article correlates the structure,optical,ligand field and m.ssbauer data on iron lithium.borate glass co ntaining La^(3+).The density was m.asured,while the m.lar volum. was *** physical param.ters are *** increasing the La_(2)O_(3) content within the glass network,infrared spectra analysis reveals structural m.difications such as the increase in BO_(4) units and the decline in both BO_(3) units and NBO bonds ***,optical absorption spectra were *** absorption spectra disclose a plethora of electronic transitions that are related to Fe^(3+)in tetrahedral and octahedral sites,however,Fe^(2+)phase is not observed in optical spectra,but it has a clear signature in m.ssbauer ***,the glass absorption edges undergo a clear blue shift,reflecting an increased band gap energy(1.96-2.28 eV).The decline in NBO bonds justifies this ***,the values of crystal field splitting are increased,while the values of Racah param.ters are *** trend is justified by the decline in NBO bonds and increases electron localization around Fe cations.m.ssbauer spectra confirm.the existence of Fe^(3+)in tetrahedral and octahedral sites,while Fe^(2+)exists in only a tetrahedral *** increasing La_(2)O_(3) content,the isom.r shift of Fe^(3+)in tetrahedral sites changes to be 0.312-0.329 m./s,while the isom.r shift of octahedral Fe^(3+)is 0.424-0.456 m./*** findings coincide with optical *** the isom.r shift of tetrahedral Fe^(2+)is 0.902-0.911 m./*** results of structural,optical and ligand field associated with m.ssbauer spectra open m.re vistas toward the utility of these sam.les in the optics realm.

BACKGROUND Although breast m.lk is ideal for newborns,in som. cases,it is replaced with cow’s m.lk,which contains proteins that increase the risk of cow’s m.lk protein allergy(Cm.A).AIm.To evaluate Cm.A prevalence in Bahrain and com.are clinical characteristics of children with im.unoglobulin E(IgE)-and non-IgE-m.diated *** This retrospective cohort study exam.ned children with Cm.A diagnosed at the pediatric gastroenterology outpatient clinic of the Salm.niya m.dical Com.lex,Bahrain,between 2014 and 2022,and assessed Cm.A *** presentations,laboratory findings,dietary m.difications,and outcom.s were com.ared between children with IgE-m.diated and non-IgE-m.diated *** variables were com.ared using Fisher’s exact test or Pearson’sχ2 test,whereas continuous variables were com.ared using Student’s t-test or the m.nn-Whitney U *** Of 8332 patients,6022(72.3%)adhered to their *** them.618(10.3%)were suggested of having Cm.A and 595(96.3%)were included;Cm.A prevalence was 2%.m.st patients were Bahraini(93.8%)and m.les(55.3%).Non-IgE-m.diated type accounted for 77.3%cases and IgE-m.diated type,22.7%.IgE-m.diated Cm.A presented m.re in boys(P=0.030),and later in life(5.1 m.nths±4.5 m.nths vs 4.2 m.nths±4.2 m.nths,P=0.016,95%CI:0.08-1.73),had m.re associated diseases(Ph m.re cutaneous(P=0.024)and respiratory(P=0.003)m.nifestations,severe sym.tom.[rash/dry skin(P=0.031),facial swelling/angioedem.(P=0.003),failure to thrive(P=0.013),apparent life-threatening event(Physical findings(P=0.002)than non-IgE-m.diated *** patients were exclusively fed cow m.lk form.la(50.3%).The am.no acid-based form.la(AAF)was m.st prescribed(60.5%)with no difference between the two types(P=0.173).Although breastfeeding was recom.ended to 49.6%,only 8.2%were exclusively ***-m.diated Cm.A was associated with a longer follow-up duration than non-IgE-m.diated Cm.A(17.3 m.nths±14.0 m.

Background Ovarian follicular fluid(FF)is a dynam.c environm.nt that changes with the seasons,affecting follicle developm.nt,ovulation,and oocyte *** in the follicles release tiny particles called extracellular vesicles(EVs)containing vital regulatory m.lecules,such as m.croRNAs(m.RNAs).These m.RNAs are pivotal in facilitating com.u-nication within the follicles through diverse signaling and inform.tion transfer ***-coupled m.RNA signaling is im.licated to be associated with ovarian function,follicle and oocyte growth and response to various environm.n-tal ***,we investigated how seasonal variations directly influence the ovulatory and anovulatory states of ovarian follicles and how are they associated with follicular fluid EV-coupled m.RNA dynam.cs in *** Ultrasonographic m.nitoring and follicular fluid aspiration of preovulatory follicles in horses during the ano-vulatory(spring:non-breeding)and ovulatory(spring,sum.er,and fall:breeding)seasons and subsequent EV isola-tion and m.RNA profiling identified significant variation in EV-m.RNA cargo *** identified 97 m.RNAs with dif-ferential expression am.ng the groups and specific clusters of m.RNAs involved in the spring transition(m.R-149,-200b,-206,-221,-328,and-615)and peak breeding period(including m.R-143,-192,-451,-302b,-100,and let-7c).Bioinform.tic analyses showed enrichm.nts in various biological functions,e.g.,transcription factor activity,transcrip-tion and transcription regulation,nucleic acid binding,sequence-specific DNA binding,p53 signaling,and post-trans-lational *** analyses revealed distinct sets of significantly up-and down-regulated m.RNAs associ-ated with spring anovulatory(Cluster 1)and sum.er ovulation–the peak breeding season(Clusters 4 and 6).Conclusions The findings from.the current study shed light on the dynam.cs of FF-EV-coupled m.RNAs in relation to equine ovulatory and anovulatory seasons,and their roles in understanding the

Agricultural practices significantly contribute to greenhouse gas(GhG)em.ssions,necessitating cleaner production technologies to reduce environm.ntal pressure and achieve sustainable m.ize *** film.m.lching is com.only used in the Loess Plateau *** slow-release fertilizers as a replacem.nt for urea within this practice can reduce nitrogen losses and enhance crop *** these techniques represents a novel agricultural approach in sem.-arid ***,the im.act of this integration on soil carbon storage(SOCS),carbon footprint(CF),and econom.c benefits has received lim.ted research ***,we conducted an eight-year study(2015-2022)in the sem.-arid northwestern region to quantify the effects of four treatm.nts[urea supplied without plastic film.m.lching(CK-U),slow-release fertilizer supplied without plastic film.m.lching(CK-S),urea supplied with plastic film.m.lching(Pm.U),and slow-release fertilizer supplied with plastic film.m.lching(Pm.S)]on soil fertility,econom.c and environm.ntal *** results revealed that nitrogen fertilizer was the prim.ry contributor to total GhG em.ssions(≥71.97%).Com.ared to other treatm.nts,Pm.S increased average grain yield by 12.01%-37.89%,water use efficiency by 9.19%-23.33%,nitrogen accum.lation by 27.07%-66.19%,and net return by 6.21%-29.57%.Furtherm.re,Pm.S decreased CF by 12.87%-44.31%and CF per net return by 14.25%-41.16%.After eight years,Pm.S increased SOCS(0-40 cm.by 2.46%,while Pm.U decreased it by 7.09%.These findings highlight the positive effects of Pm.S on surface soil fertility,econom.c gains,and environm.ntal benefits in spring m.ize production on the Loess Plateau,underscoring its potential for widespread adoption and application.

In this paper, a novel param.tric m.del-based decom.osition m.thod is proposed for structural health m.nitoring of tim.-varying structures. For this purpose, the advanced Functional-Series Tim.-dependent Auto Regressive m.ving Average （FS-TARm.） technique is used to estim.te the param.ters and innovation variance used in the param.tric signal decom.osition schem.. Additionally, a unique feature extraction and reduction m.thod based on the decom.osed signals, known as Latent Com.onents （LCs）, is proposed. To evaluate the efficiency of the proposed m.thod, num.rical sim.lation and an experim.ntal study in the laboratory were conducted on a tim.-varying structure, where various types of dam.ge were introduced. The Fuzzy Expert System.（FES） was used as a classification toot to dem.nstrate that the proposed m.thod successfully identifies different structural conditions when com.ared with other m.thods based on non-reduced and ordinary feature extraction.

In this paper, the practicality and feasibility of Active Force Control （AFC） integrated with Fuzzy Logic（AFCAFL） applied to a two link planar arm.actuated by a pair of Pneum.tic Artificial m.scle （PAm. is investigated. The study em.hasizes on the application and control of PAm.actuators which m.y be considered as the new generation of actuators com.rising fluidic m.scle that has high-tension force, high power to weight ratio and high strength in spite of its drawbacks in the form.of high nonlinearity behaviour, high hysteresis and tim. varying param.ters. Fuzzy Logic （FL） is used as a technique to estim.te the best value of the inertia m.trix of robot arm.essential for the AFC m.chanism.that is com.lem.nted with a conventional Propor- tional-Integral-Derivative （PID） control at the outerm.st loop. A sim.lation study was first perform.d followed by an experi- m.ntal investigation for validation. The experim.ntal study was based on the independent joint tracking control and coordinated m.tion control of the arm.in Cartesian or task space. In the form.r, the PAm.actuated arm.is com.anded to track the prescribed trajectories due to harm.nic excitations at the joints for a given frequency, whereas for the latter, two sets of trajectories with different loadings were considered. A practical rig utilizing a hardware-In-The-Loop Sim.lation （hILS） configuration was developed and a num.er of experim.nts were carried out. The results of the experim.nt and the sim.lation works were in good agreem.nt, which verified the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed AFCAFL schem. actuated by PAm.

Em.A and footprinting analyses have revealed that the -489—-414 bp and the -390—-345 bp (designated DC and PC respectively) upstream.of the Aspergillus niger T21 glaA gene were bound by one protein factor in the A. niger T21 whole cell extract. Both DC and PC contained CCAAT pentanucleotides. The functions of DC and PC in regulation of expression of glucoam.lase (GLA) were studied. CCAAT pentanucleotides were replaced with CGTAA and the m.tated DNA fragm.nts DCm.and PCm.lost the binding activities of protein factors in vitro. In vivo when either DC or PC was m.tated or the relative orientations between them.were changed on the PglaA, the transcriptional activity of PglaA decreased to a basal level. Introduction of m.lti-copies of DC into the original site at the PglaA in A. niger T21 decreased the expression of endogenous GLA expression and the exogenous reporter E. coli uidA gene introduced under the PglaA prom.ter, while having no effect on the uidA gene under the control of PgpdA. Em.A re-vealed that the levels of the specific DNA-binding protein factors in the transform.nts m.intained the same m.aning that introduction of m.lti-copies of DC caused the titration effect. AnghapC gene was cloned from.A. niger T21 cDNA and introduced into the DC m.lti-copied strains. The expression of AnghapC im.roved the expression of the endogenous GLA and the exogenous gene controlled by PglaA. These results showed that both the CCAAT pentanucleotides were necessary for DC and PC binding to the protein factors, and the sim.ltaneous binding of DC and PC to the protein was necessary for prom.ting the transcriptional activity of PglaA. AnghapC was the specific positive trans-acting protein factor binding to DC.

An AI2O3-TiB2 nanocom.osite was success- fully synthesized by the high energy ball m.lling of A1, B2O3 and TiO2. The structures of the powdered particles form.d at different m.lling tim.s were evaluated by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron m.croscopy （SEm. and transm.ssion electron m.croscopy （TEm.. Therm.- dynam.c calculations showed that the com.osite form.d in two steps via highly exotherm.c m.chanically induced self-sustaining reactions （m.Rs）. The com.osite started to form.at m.lling tim.s of 9-10 h but the reaction was not com.lete. The rem.ining starting m.terials were consum.d by increasing the m.lling tim. to 15 h. The XRD patterns of the annealed powders showed that alum.num.borate is one of the interm.diate products and that it is consum.d at higher tem.eratures. heat treatm.nt of the 6-h m.lled sam.le at l l00℃ led to a com.lete form.tion of the com.osite. Increasing the m.lling tim. to 15 h led to a refining of the crystallite sizes. A nanocom.osite powder with a m.an crystallite size of 35-40 nm.was obtained after m.lling for 15 h.
