Objective: Although Angelica archangelica is a medicinal and aromatic plant with a long history of use for both medicinal and food purposes, there are no studies regarding the antineoplastic activity of its *** study aimed to evaluate the cytotoxicity and antitumor effects of the crude extract of A. archangelica root(CEAA) on breast ***: The cytotoxicity of CEAA against breast adenocarcinoma cells(4T1 and mCF-7) was evaluated by a 3-(4,5-dimethyl-2-thiazolyl)-2,5-diphenyl-2-H-tetrazolium bromide(mTT) assay. morphological and biochemical changes were detected by Hoechst 33342/propidium iodide(PI) and annexin V/PI staining. Cytosolic calcium mobilization was evaluated in cells staining with FURA-4 NW. Immunoblotting was used to determine the effect of CEAA on anti-and pro-apoptotic proteins(Bcl-2 and Bax, respectively).The 4 T1 cell-challenged mice were used for in vivo ***: Using ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry analysis, angelicin, a constituent of the roots and leaves of A. archangelica, was found to be the major constituent of the CEAA evaluated in this study(73 mg/mL). The CEAA was cytotoxic for both breast cancer cell lines studied but not for human fibroblasts. Treatment of 4 T1 cells with the CEAA increased Bax protein levels accompanied by decreased Bcl-2 expression, in the presence of cleaved caspase-3 and cytosolic calcium mobilization, suggesting mitochondrial involvement in breast cancer cell death induced by the CEAA in this cell line. No changes on the Bcl-2/Bax ratio were observed in CEAA-treated mCF7 cells. Gavage administration of the CEAA(500 mg/kg) to 4T1 cell-challenged mice significantly decreased tumor growth when compared with untreated ***: Altogether, our data show the antitumor potential of the CEAA against breast cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. Further research is necessary to better elucidate the pharmacological application of the CEAA in breast cancer therapy.

Colorectal cancer(CRC) is the third most common cancer in western countries. Despite significant improvement in available treatment options, CRC still remains the second leading cause of cancer-related death. Traditionally, 5-fluorouracil has been used as the main chemotherapy drug for treatment of metastatic CRC(mCRC). However, during the last two decades more effective chemotherapeutic agents such as oxaliplatin, irinotecan and the monoclonal antibodies cetuximab, panitumumab and bevacizumab have been used in clinical practice. more recently, the therapeutic armamentarium has been supplemented by the monoclonal antibodies bevacizumab, cetuximab and panitumumab as well as the protein-trap aflibercept and the smallmolecule multi-kinase inhibitor regorafenib. One of the major problems for the management of CRC is the inherent or acquired resistance to therapeutic approaches. The discovery of microRNAs(miRNAs), a class of small, endogenous, non-coding, single-stranded RNAs that play a role as post-transcriptional regulators, has added new dimensions to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Because miRNAs are important regulators of carcinogenesis, progression, invasion, angiogenesis and metastases in CRC, they might serve as potential predictive and prognostic factors and even as therapeutic targets themselves. Several miRNAs are already known to be dysregulated in CRCs and have been linked to biological processes involved in tumor progression and response to anti-cancer therapies. This review summarizes current therapeutic approaches for treating CRC and highlights the role of miRNAs as novel predictive biomarkers and potential drug targets in CRC patients.

BACKGROUND： Fibromyalgia is a syndrome characterized by chronic pain, fatigue, depression, and sleep disturbances. Its primary cause is unclear. Several studies have reported decreased intracellular magnesium levels in patients with fibromyalgia and have found negative correlation between magnesium levels and fibromyalgia symptoms.OBJECTIVE： To gather preliminary data on whether transdermal magnesium can improve quality of life for women who have fibromyalgia. DESIGN, SETTING, PARTICIPANTS AND INTERVENTIONS： This is a patient questionnaires and survey in a fibremyalgia clinic at a tertiary medical center. Forty female patients with the diagnosis of fibremyalgia were enrolled. Each participant was provided a spray bottle containing a transdermal magnesium chloride solution and asked to apply 4 sprays per limb twice daily for 4 weeks. Participants were asked to complete the Revised Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire, SF-36v2 Health Survey, and a quality-of-life analog scale at baseline, week 2, and week 4. mAIN OUTCOmE mEASURE： Questionnaire and survey scores, evaluated through intent-to-treat and per-protocol analyses. RESULTS： Twenty-four patients completed the study （mean [SD] age, 57.2 [7.6] years; white, 95%; mean body mass index, 31.3 kg/m2）. With intention-to-treat analysis, Revised Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire subscale and total scores were significantly improved at week 2 and week 4 （total score, P = 0.001）. Per-protocol analysis results were similar： all subscales of the Revised Fibremyalgia Impact Questionnaire were significantly improved at week 2 and week 4 （total score, P = 0.001）. CONCLUSION： This pilot study suggests that transdermal magnesium chloride applied on upper and lower limbs may be beneficial to patients with fibromyalgia.

本文运用密度泛函理论和高水平分子轨道从头计算理论，研究大气中由OH＋SO2反应生成硫酸的一个新的势能面．新的势能面集中考虑自由基络台物SO3·HO2与H2O直接反应的一个通道，其主要原因是SO3·HO2的高度稳定性．其后续反应的最终结果与文献中流行的反应机理的结果相一致，但避免了产生与释放SO2．整个反应通道由三个连续的基元反应组成，（1）HOSO2＋O2→SO3·HO2，（2）SO3·HO2＋H2O→SO3·H2O·HO2，（3）SO3·H2O·HO2→H2SO4＋HO2．这三个基元反应部只有很小的能垒，小于10kcal／mol，并且部是放热反应．因此，这一新的反应通道在动力学及热力学上部是可行的．反应（3）是关键的一步，其中HO2作为一个桥梁分子促成了低能垒氢迁移过程而使SO3水解成为硫酸．这一研究结果主要有两个方面的大气化学意义．第一，大气中OH自由基氧化SO2并不产生SO3．第二，大气中SO2转化为硫酸受空气湿度的影响较小．
