We present a spectroscopic investigation of molecular nitrogen using a self-resonating co-axial dielectric barrier plasma *** properties of the nitrogen plasma generated were recorded as functions of radio frequency (27.12MHz),power (20-50 W) and gas pressure (0.1 60mbar). The intensity distribution of the transitional structure of the electronic bands C^(3)∏_(u) → B^(3)∏_(g),B^(2)Σ_(u)^(+) → X^(2)Σ_(g)^(+) and d^(2) ∏_(g) → A^(2)∏_(7u) was measured as a fimction of gas *** energy efficiency (total emitted intensity from the plasma It divided by total electric power to the discharge P),as high as 14% can be obtained at a dissipated electrical power level of 20 W and a pressure of 10mbar.

In this study,the effect and mechanism of seven kinds of sterilization treatments,including ultrasound(US),pasteurization(PT),high temperature short time(HTST),hot air(HA),microwave(MW),ultraviolet(UV)and steam sterilization,on ***,*** and *** were *** was found that PT,HTST,MW,and steam sterilization gave ideal bactericidal effect and were subsequently,combined with ultrasound treatment and applied to chili *** results showed that ultrasound combined with microwave(US+MW)treatment was effective in preserving the maximum nutritional value and flavor of chili sauce while ensuring its *** total number of colonies and coliforms were not detected after US+MW ***,the contents of total polyphenol,capsaicin and 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl(dPPH)free radical scavenging ability in the US+MW group were 11.10%,12.78%and 17.00%higher than those of traditional autoclave *** addition,polyphenol oxidase(PPO)activity was 2.04 times higher in the US+MW group compared to the autoclave sterilization *** analysis showed that total polyphenol and capsaicin were positively correlated with 2,2′-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline)-6-sulphonic acid(ABTS)(correlation coefficients 0.90 and 0.76,respectively)and dPPH free radical scavenging ability(correlation coefficients 0.88 and 0.72,respec-tively).The results obtained from GC-MS showed that US+MW treatment could reduce the loss of volatile compounds and retained the original flavor of chili *** content of diallyl disulfide was 1.8 times that of autoclave *** study provides a new theoretical reference for sterilization and flavor preservation of chili sauce.

Fungi that are barely lichenized or non-lichenized and closely related to lichenized taxa,the so-called borderline fungi,are an important element in reconstructing the evolutionary history of lichenized *** is a prime example including non-lichenized,saprotrophic lineages which potentially were precursors to lichenized *** this study,we focused on saprotrophic species of Arthonia sensu lato,including new sequence data for Arthonia *** obtained fresh material of this taxon from a living branch of Fraxinus ornus in Italy to assess its taxonomic status and to elucidate its phylogenetic relationships within *** sections of the thallus and ascomata of *** confirmed the absence of a *** likelihood and Bayesian analyses of combined mtSSU,nuLSU and RPB2 sequence data placed the species close to ***(barely lichenized or non-lichenized)and ***(non-lichenized)in a clade closely related to Arthonia sensu stricto,and the *** clade is here resurrected under the name *** character state analysis within a broader context of Arthoniales does not support the saprotrophic lifestyle to be a plesiomorphic feature,but suggests loss of lichenization in Naevia,as well as loss and possible regain in a second clade containing saprotrophic species and including taxa resembling Mycoporum,underlining the evolutionary plasticity of *** two clades constitute model taxa to further investigate the evolution of alternative biological lifestyles within the context of chiefly lichenized taxa.

Acute kidney injury(AKI)in cirrhosis,including hepatorenal syndrome(HRS),is a common and serious complication in cirrhotic patients,leading to significant morbidity and *** is separated into two categories,non-HRS AKI and *** most recent definition and diagnostic criteria of AKI in cirrhosis and HRS have helped diagnose and prognosticate the *** pathophysiology behind non-HRS-AKI and HRS is more complicated than once theorized and involves more processes than just splanchnic *** common biomarkers clinicians use to assess kidney injury have significant limitations in cirrhosis patients;novel biomarkers being studied have shown promise but require further studies in clinical settings and animal *** overall management of non-HRS AKI and HRS-AKI requires a systematic *** pharmacological treatments have shown mortality benefit,the ideal HRS treatment option is liver transplantation with or without simultaneous kidney *** research is required to optimize pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic approaches to *** article reviews the current guidelines and recommendations of AKI in cirrhosis.

Background Nursery pigs undergo stressors in the post-weaning period that result in production and welfare *** challenges disproportionately impact the offspring of primiparous sows compared to those of mul-tiparous *** is known regarding potential interactions between parity and feed additives in the post-weaning period and their effects on nursery pig ***,the objective of this study was to investigate the effects of maternal parity on sow and offspring microbiomes and the influence of sow parity on pig fecal microbi-ome and performance in response to a prebiotic *** weaning,piglets were allotted into three treat-ment groups:a standard nursery diet including pharmacological doses of Zn and Cu(Con),a group fed a commercial prebiotic only(Preb)based on an Aspergillus oryzae fermentation extract,and a group fed the same prebiotic plus Zn and Cu(Preb+ZnCu).Results Although there were no differences in vaginal microbiome composition between primiparous and mul-tiparous sows,fecal microbiome composition was different(R^(2)=0.02,P=0.03).The fecal microbiomes of primiparous offspring displayed significantly higher bacterial diversity compared to multiparous offspring at d 0 and d 21 post-weaning(Pdifferences in community composition observed at d 21(R^(2)=0.03,P=0.04).When analyzing the effects of maternal parity within each treatment,only the Preb diet triggered significant microbiome distinc-tions between primiparous and multiparous offspring(d 21:R^(2)=0.13,P=0.01;d 42:R^(2)=0.19,P=0.001).Composi-tional differences in pig fecal microbiomes between treatments were observed only at d 21(R^(2)=0.12,P=0.001).Pigs in the Con group gained significantly more weight throughout the nursery period when compared to those in the Preb+ZnCu *** Nursery pig gut microbiome composition was influenced by supplementation with an Aspergillus oryzae fermentation extract,with varying effects on performance

Edible fungi residuals are by-products from the preparation process of edible fungi hot pot soup *** hydrolysate was prepared by cellulase(Cel),papain(Pap)and neutral protease(Nep)as well as their combination,and the reducing sugar content,the degree of hydrolysis(TdH),color,antioxidant capacity,inorganic elements and flavor of enzymatic hydrolysate were *** properties of enzymatic hydrolysate produced by compound enzymes were better than that of single enzyme,especially for the compound of enzymes Cel and *** reducing sugar of enzymatic hydrolysate prepared by the combination of Cel and Pap increased 6.98 times and with TdH reached 25.80%±1.28%.In addition,edible fungi by-products after enzymatic hydrolysis exhibited yellowish-brown color with higher antioxidant capacity and little change of the volatile *** hydrolysate possessed a high retention rate of Na and Mg in the raw material,and there was no potential harm caused by excessive heavy metals(Cd,Pb,As).

Humans and other animals have always been battling viruses,especially those that cause emerging and re-emerging infectious *** with the ongoing COVId-19 pandemic,highly pathogenic avian influenza(HPAI)viruses of the H5 subtype are attacking silently as a re-emerging disease,thus seriously impairing poultry and human ***,there have been outbreaks of the H5N8 subtype of HPAI virus in many regions around the *** to data available through the Global Animal disease Information System(http://***/)of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations,a total of 412 HPAI H5N8 outbreaks were reported worldwide from August 31 to december 1,2020,with 353,851 animals confirmed to be infected in 26 countries around the *** sporadic cases of this strain were found during the same period in the previous year.

The paper summarises existing theory and classifications for finite line-transitive linear spaces, develops the theory further, and organises it in a way that enables its effective application. The starting point is a theorem of Camina and the fifth author that identifies three kinds of line-transitive automorphism groups of linear spaces. In two of these cases the group may be imprimitive on points, that is, the group leaves invariant a nontrivial partition of the point set. In the first of these cases the group is almost simple with point-transitive simple socle, and may or may not be point-primitive, while in the second case the group has a non-trivial point-intransitive normal subgroup and hence is definitely point-imprimitive. The theory presented here focuses on point-imprimitive groups. As a non-trivial application a classification is given of the point-imprimitive, line-transitive groups, and the corresponding linear spaces, for which the greatest common divisor gcd（k, v - 1） ≤ 8, where v is the number of points, and k is the line size. Motivation for this classification comes from a result of Weidong Fang and Huffing Li in 1993, that there are only finitely many non-trivial point-imprimitive, linetransitive linear spaces for a given value of gcd（k, v - 1）. The classification strengthens the classification by Camina and Mischke under the much stronger restriction k ≤ 8： no additional examples arise. The paper provides the backbone for future computer-based classifications of point-imprimitive, line- transitive linear spaces with small parameters. Several suggestions for further investigations are made.
