The immediate and quick spread of the coronavirus has become a life-threatening disease around the *** widespread illness has dramatically changed almost all sectors,moving from offline to online,resulting in a new normal lifestyle for *** impact of coronavirus is tremendous in the healthcare sector,which has experienced a decline in the first quarter of *** pandemic has created an urge to use computer-aided diagnosis techniques for classifying the Covid-19 dataset to reduce the burden of clinical *** current situation motivated me to choose correlationbased development called correlation-based grey wolf optimizer to perform accurate classification.A proposed multistage model helps to identify Covid from Computed Tomography(CT)scan *** first process uses a convolutional neural network(CNN)for extracting the feature from the CT *** Pearson coefficient filter method is applied to remove redundant and irrelevant ***,theGrey wolf optimizer is used to choose optimal *** analysis proves that this determines the optimal characteristics to detect the deadly *** proposed model’s accuracy is 14%higher than the krill herd and bacterial foraging optimization for severe accurate respiratory syndrome image(SARS-CoV-2 CT)*** COVID CT image dataset is 22%higher than the existing krill herd and bacterial foraging optimization *** proposed techniques help to increase the classification accuracy of the algorithm in most cases,which marks the stability of the stated *** analysis reveals that the proposed classification technique to predict COVID-19 withmaximumaccuracy of 98%outperforms other competitive approaches.

目的本研究旨在调查沙特阿拉伯女性护生在临床实践中的压力水平、压力源和应对策略现状。方法采用横断面调查法。于2022年1-5月,采用便利抽样法选取沙特阿拉伯1所大学中分别在利雅得、吉达和阿拉尔莎参加临床课程的护理学院女生为研究对象,应用一般资料调查表、感知压力量表(the Percei-ved Stress Scale,PSS)和应对行为量表(the Coping Behavior Inventory,CBI)进行资料收集。结果共有322名护生参与此研究,PSS得分为3~99(54.77±0.95)。学业和工作量是护生最常见的压力源类型(2.61±0.94),其次是来自环境的压力(1.18±0.47)。同时,保持乐观为学生最常采用的应对策略(2.38±0.95),其次是转移(2.36±0.71)和问题解决策略(2.35±1.01)。回避应对策略与所有压力源类型呈正相关(P<0.01)。问题解决策略与来自同学和日常生活的压力呈负相关(r=-0.126,P<0.05)。转移与来自学业和工作量的压力(r=0.121,P<0.05)以及来自教师和护理人员的压力(r=0.156,P<0.01)呈正相关。保持乐观策略与护理患者的压力(r=-0.149,P<0.01)以及缺乏专业知识和技能的压力(r=-0.245,P<0.01)呈负相关。结论这些研究结果对于护理教育者确定护理专业女生的主要压力源和使用的应对策略具有重要意义。应采取有效措施减轻学生实习期间的压力水平及改善学生的应对策略。

An approach to evaluate the efficiency of γ-ray detectors to determine the radioactivity in environmental samples

This work provides an approach to determine the efficiency of T-ray detectors with a good accuracy in order to determine the concentrations of either naturally occurring or artificially prepared radionuclides. This approach is based on the efficiency transfer formula （ET）, the effective solid angles, the self- absorptions of the source matrix, the attenuation by the source container and the detector housing materials on the detector efficiency. The experimental calibration process was done using radioactive （Cylindrical ＆ Marinelli） sources, in different dimensions, that contain aqueous 152Eu radionuclide. The comparison point to a fine agreement between the experimental measured and calculated efficiencies for the （NaI ＆ HPGe） detectors using volumetric radioactive sources.

Gait Recognition System in Thermal Infrared Night Imaging by Using Deep Convolutional Neural Networks

Gait is an essential biomedical feature that distinguishes individuals through *** feature automatically stimulates the need for remote human recognition in security-sensitive visual monitoring ***,there is still a lack of sufficient accuracy of gait recognition at night,in addition to taking some critical factors that affect the performances of the recognition ***,a novel approach is proposed to automatically identify individuals from thermal infrared(TIR)images according to their gaits captured at *** approach uses a new night gait network(NGaitNet)based on similarity deep convolutional neural networks(CNNs)method to enhance gait recognition at ***,the TIR image is represented via personal movements and enhanced body skeleton ***,the state-space method with a Hough transform is used to extract gait features to obtain skeletal joints′*** features are trained to identify the most discriminating gait patterns that indicate a change in human *** verify the proposed method,the experimental results are performed by using learning and validation curves via being connected by the Visdom *** proposed thermal infrared imaging night gait recognition(TIRNGaitNet)approach has achieved the highest gait recognition accuracy rates(99.5%,97.0%),especially under normal walking conditions on the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Automation infrared night gait dataset(CASIA C)and Donghua University thermal infrared night gait database(DHU night gait dataset).On the same dataset,the results of the TIRNGaitNet approach provide the record scores of(98.0%,87.0%)under the slow walking condition and(94.0%,86.0%)for the quick walking condition.

Medical treatment of inflammatory punctual stenosis monitored by anterior segment optical coherence tomography

AIM:To evaluate the role of medical treatment in the management of inflammatory punctum stenosis guided by spectral domain anterior segment optical coherence tomography(OCT).METHODS:This prospective study included 60 patients complaining of epiphora due to inflammatory punctual *** were divided into two groups:Group A(30 patients)treated with a combination of preservative free hydrocortisone sodium phosphate 3.35 mg/m L eye drops,and preservative free artificial tears based on sodium hyaluronate,polyethylene and propylene Glycol;Group B(30 patients)treated with the same preservative free artificial tears *** normal subjects were included for comparison of pre-treatment anatomical *** starting treatment,all patients underwent anterior segment assessment including slit lamp examination,measurement of intraocular pressure(IOP),fluorescein dye disappearance test,and measurement of the outer punctum diameter(OPD)by Spectral domain anterior segment *** assessments were repeated at each follow up done at 1 and 3 mo later,together with subjective evaluation of patient’s satisfaction of the treatment outcome by simple rating ***:Punctual diameter increased significantly with treatment in both groups(Palthough the widening was more in Group A as compared to group B(16.2%vs 8%of the original punctual size,mean difference of 28.933μm,P=0.0076).Subjective satisfaction with treatment outcome was also better in group A(70%vs 40%,Chi-square P=0.0397).CONCLUSION:A combination of preservative free steroid eye drops and artificial tears causes significant widening of inflammed stenotic punctae and improvement of the associated epiphora.

Reduction of Infectious Cryptosporidium and Microbial Indicators in wastewater Effluents by Disinfection with UV Irradiation or Chlorine

when properly treated, domestic wastewater should be considered a potential reliable water source in arid and semi-arid regions of the world for none-potable purposes. In Israel and other countries around the world, the main biological standards for water reuse are based on fecal coliform (FC) and turbidity. Furthermore, in secondary treatment, the Israeli standard for water reuse and for unrestricted irrigation comprises additional steps such as filtration and chlorination. The present study was conducted to compare the reduction efficiency of live Cryptosporidium oocysts in wastewater effluents by filtration and disinfection by either UV irradiation or chlorination. Cryptosporidium oocysts infectivity reduction was compared to those of the conventional microbial indicators (FC). The study was conducted in two full-scale wastewater treatment plants. The average concentration of FC and Cryptosporidium in secondary effluent was 2.8 × 105 cfu/100ml and 5.7 oocysts/10L, respectively. Infectious Cryptosporidium oocysts were detected in 2 out of 7 secondary effluent samples (28.5%). Infectious Cryptosporidium oocysts were not detectable in UV disinfected tertiary effluent. Conversely, 3 out of 7 (42.8%) tertiary effluent samples disinfected with chlorine were positive for infectious Cryptosporidium oocysts. The results of this study revealed that the application of a multi barrier treatment, including UV irradiation, for the reduction of Cryptosporidium oocysts and microbial indicators could improve tertiary effluent safety for unrestricted irrigation and other reuse purposes.

Production,characterization and biological activities of acidic exopolysaccharide from marine Bacillus amyloliquefaciens 3MS 2017

Objective: To evaluate in-vitro antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antitumor abilities against human breast adenocarcinoma(MCF7) and human prostate cancer(PC3) as well as the suppressor effect of bacterial exopolysaccharide(BAEPS) on Ehrlich ascites carcinoma(EAC). Methods: In-vitro antioxidants characters of BAEPS were determined using various methods, while anti-inflammatory activity was estimated against cyclooxygenase(COX-1 and COX-2). In-vitro study, anticancer against MCF7 and PC3 were assessed by the mitochondrial dependent reduction of yellow MTT. In in-vivo study against EAC progression, mice were inoculated with EAC cells and then were orally administered BAEPS at 200 mg/kg after 24 h(equals to 0.10 of determined LD50)/10 d. Results: BAEPS was acidic exopolysaccharide contained uronic acid(12.3%) and sulfate(22.8%) with constitution of glucose, galactose and glucuronic acid in a molar ratio1.6: 1.0: 0.9, respectively, with a molecular mass of 3.76伊104 g/mol. BAEPS appeared potent antioxidant characters as free radical scavenging, oxygen reactive species scavenging and metal chelation, while its reducing power was low. BAEPS showed selective anti-inflammatory activity against COX-2 than COX-1, COX-2 selective. BAEPS exhibited potent and selective effect to breast cell cancer MCF7, the death percentage was 65.20% with IC_(50)=70 μg/m L and IC_(90)=127.40 μg/m L. BAEPS decreased counted viable EAC cells and induced non-viable cells. BAEPS improved all assessed hematological parameters. These improvements were reflected in the increasing median survival time and significant increment(Pwith a good margin of safety. The anti-tumor activity of BAEPS may be due to its content from sulfated groups and uronic acids and they have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

A comparative study of liquid and solid inner contact roxatidine acetate ion-selective electrode membranes

A comparative study was conducted using two designs of a roxatidine acetate （ROX）-selective electrode; a conventional liquid inner contact called electrode A and a graphite-coated solid contact called electrode 13. The fabrication of electrodes was based on roxatidine-tetraphenylborate （ROX-TPB） as an ion-association complex in a PVC matrix using different plasticizers. Electrode A has a linear dynamic range of 2.2 ×10^-5 mol/L to 1.0 ×10^-2 mol/L, with a Nernstian slope of 54.7 mV/decade and a detection limit of 1.4 ×10^-6 mol/L. Electrode B shows linearity over the concentration range of 1.0×10^-6 mol/L to 1.0×10^-2 tool/L, with a Nernstian slope of 51.2 mV/decade and a limit of detection of 1.1×10^7 mol/L which is remarkably improved as a result of diminishing ion fluxes in this solid contact, ion-selective electrode. The proposed sensors display useful analytical characteristics for the determination of ROX in bulk powder and its pharmaceutical formulation. The present electrodes show clear discrimination of ROX from several inorganic, organic ions, sugars, some common drug excipients and the degradation product （3-[3-（1-piperidinyl methyl） phenoxy] propyl amine） of ROX. Furthermore, the proposed electrodes were utilized for the determination of ROX in human plasma, where electrode B covers drug Cmax which indicated its applicability to pharmacokinetic, bioavailability and bioequivalent studies. The results obtained by the proposed electrodes were statistically analyzed and compared with those obtained by a reported HPLC method. No significant difference for either accuracy or precision was observed.
