AIM:To develop nor.ative data for.meibomian gland dysfunction(MGD)par.meter.,using non-contact meibogr.phy technique of Sir.us Costr.zione Str.menti Oftalmici(CSO)machine,in an Egyptian population ***:Obser.ational,cr.ss-sectional,analytic study,in which 104 Egyptian volunteer. wer. *** upper.lids wer. examined,using“Sir.us CSO”*** eyelid was given a degr.e of meibomian gland loss(MGL),which was calculated by the softwar. of the ***:Mean per.entage MGL in r.ght upper.lid was of 30.9%±12.6%,and that of left upper.lid was 32.6%±11.8%.Thir.y-four.volunteer.(32.7%)had fir.t-degr.e MGL in their.r.ght upper.lid,and 67.3%had second-degr.e *** volunteer.1%)had zer.-degr.e MGL in left upper.lid,28(26.9%)had fir.t-degr.e loss,and 75(72.1%)had second-degr.e *** of MGL in r.ght upper.eyelid was not r.0}ated to age,but degr.e of MGL in left upper.eyelid incr.ased with *** was statistically significant differ.nce between both gender. for.degr.e of MGL in r.ght eye(P=0.036)and in left eye(P=0.027).CONCLUSION:Noncontact meibogr.phy is a useful non-invasive tool for.diagnosing *** is diagnosed in 100%of appar.ntly nor.al individuals;26.9%-32.7%of which have fir.t-degr.e MGL,and 67.3%-72.1%have second-degr.e MGL.

The cur.ent investigation examines the fr.ctional for.ed Kor.eweg-de Vr.es(FF-KdV) equation,a cr.tically significant evolution equation in var.ous nonlinear.br.nches of science. The equation in question and other.associated equations ar. widely acknowledged for.their.br.ad applicability and potential for.simulating a wide r.nge of nonlinear.phenomena in fluid physics, plasma physics, and var.ous scientific domains. Consequently, the main goal of this study is to use the Yang homotopy per.ur.ation method and the Yang tr.nsfor. decomposition method, along with the Caputo oper.tor.for.analyzing the FF-KdV equation. The der.ved appr.ximations ar. numer.cally examined and discussed. Our.study will show that the two suggested methods ar. helpful, easy to use, and essential for.looking at differ.nt nonlinear.models that affect complex pr.cesses.

The pr.sent wor. aimed to document the facies development and sedimentology of the r.ghama car.onates exposed along the easter. coastal plain of the r.d Sea, nor.hwester. Saudi Ar.bia. Four.str.tigr.phic sections wer. measur.d and sampled(D1–D4) and thin sections and major.and tr.ce element analyses wer. pr.par.d and applied for.petr.gr.phic and geochemical appr.aches. The car.onates wer. subdivided into thr.e successive for.-r.ef, r.ef-cor., and back-r.ef depositional facies. Sandy str.matolitic boundstone, micr.bial laminites, dolomitic ooidal gr.instone, bioclastic cor.lline algal wackestone, sandy bioclastic wackestone, and cor.l boundstones wer. the r.por.ed micr.facies types. Petr.gr.phic analysis r.veals that the studied car.onates wer. affected by dissolution, dolomitization, and aggr.ding r.cr.stallization, which affects both the or.ginal micr.te matr.x and gr.ins or.acts as fr.ctur. and veinlet filling leading to widespr.ad vuggy and moldic por.sity. No evidence of physical compaction, suggesting r.pid lithification and r.cr.stallization dur.ng ear.y diagenesis and pr.or.to substantial bur.al and intensive flushing by meteor.c water.. Most of the or.ginal micr.str.ctur. of cor.ls wer. leached and destr.cted. This is indicated by the higher.depletion in Sr.and Ca levels and incr.ase in Mg,Na, Fe, and Mn levels, especially in section D1, in compar.son with the wor.dwide car.onates.

Ag-In inter.etallic alloys wer. pr.duced by using vacuum ar. fur.ace. Differ.ntial Scanning Calor.metr.(DSC) and Ener.y Disper.ive X-r.y Spectr.metr.(EDX) wer. used to deter.ine the ther.al pr.per.ies and chemical composition of the phases r.spectively. Micr.har.ness values of Ag-In inter.etallics wer. calculated with Vicker. har.ness measur.ment method. Accor.ing to the exper.mental r.sults, Ag-34 wt%In inter.etallic system gener.ted the best r.sults of ener.y saving and stor.ge compar.d to other.inter.etallic systems. Also fr.m the micr.har.ness r.sults, it was obser.ed that inter.etallic alloys wer. har.er.than pur. silver.and Ag-26 wt%In system had the highest micr.har.ness value with 143.45 kg/mm^(2).
