Bread spread is one of the fundamental foods in human diets. Generally, cheese spread, butter, chocolate spread, and margarine are the most consumed. In the last decade, a new concept alimentary has been integrated, it was low fat spread or functional spread. This work is an attempt to formulate and optimize new low-fat spreads based on olive oil and honey using a response surface methodology box-benken design. To optimize its stability and its textural properties under the effects of three factors, beeswax content, stirring time, and stirring speed. Results revealed that the best mixture was the formulation that contained 1% beeswax, 79% honey, and 20% olive oil, formulated under 6.39 min of time stirring at 15,428 rpm speed. The beeswax was the major factor showing the highest effect on all the properties of spreads.

The present study was a potential application of Clove Essential Oil (CEO) in industrial fresh double cream cheese in order to lengthen its conservation and to improve its antioxidant potential. In this work, CEO was extracted by hydro distillation, and then analyzed by GC-MS;24 components of clove essential oil were identified. Eugenol was the major component (57.66%). Its antimicrobial properties against E. coli, Salmonella enteritidis and Staphylococcus aureus, were evaluated by disc diffusion method and minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC). As for, the antioxidant activity of CEO was evaluated by DPPH assay method. An optimum content of CEO (0.37%) was calculated by mixing plan carried out by Expert design software and then added to studied cheese. The responses, fixed from the beginning, for this mixing plan were: minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC), antioxidant activity (IC50), taste and odor intensity and global appreciation. The results found on the cheese supplemented with the optimum content of CEO showed antioxidant activity (IC50 = 0.146) was relatively important compared to conventional cheese (IC50 = 0.477). In fact, the incorporation of CEO in cheese may strongly improve its oxidative stability. Cheese antioxidant activity was not affected during the storage period for 13 days. Results showed also that the fresh double cream cheese could be stored at refrigerated temperature with good taste and odor during the period of 13 days due to antimicrobial properties given by CEO, that suggest lengthening its shelf life.

This research aims to measure the current gender representation in membership of boards of directors,and to study the factors affecting the presence of women on *** results of the study will support the decision makers and policy makers at all levels by providing knowledge that contributes to bridging the current gap in participation of women *** methodology used in this research is the descriptive analytical approach,which relies on quantitative methods in the process of collecting and analyzing *** study represents the boards of directors in the three sectors(public,private,and non-profit)in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,The study sample contained 350 targets,where a random sample of 150 people in the public sector,100 people in the private sector,and 100 people in the non-profit sector were *** research result found that the majority of the responses believe that the lack of experience and training,and social factors,are the most impact areas of explaining the reasons for the existence of a gap in women’s membership in boards of directors in the three *** the most important reasons for the existence of a gender gap in board membership are:there is no statutory minimum percentage for women’s representation on boards of directors,and scarcity of female competencies in general,and the lack of women occupying leadership positions.

This paper presents a smart checkout system designed to mitigate the issues of noise and errors present in the existing barcode and RFID-based systems used at retail stores’checkout *** is achieved by integrating a novel AI algorithm,called Improved Laser Simulator Logic(ILSL)into the RFID *** enhanced RFID system was able to improve the accuracy of item identification,reduce noise interference,and streamline the overall checkout *** potential of the systemfor noise detection and elimination was initially investigated through a simulation study usingMATLAB and ILSL ***,it was deployed in a small-scale environment to validate its real-world *** show that RFID with the proposed new algorithm ILSL and AI basket is capable of accurately detecting the related itemswhile eliminating noise originating fromunrelated objects,achieving an accuracy rate of 88%.

Current cancer diagnosis procedure requires expert knowledge and is time-consuming,which raises the need to build an accurate diagnosis support system for lymphoma identification and *** studies have shown promising results using Machine Learning and,recently,Deep Learning to detect malignancy in cancer ***,the diversity and complexity of the morphological structure of lymphoma make it a challenging classification *** literature,many attempts were made to classify up to four simple types of *** paper presents an approach using a reliable model capable of diagnosing seven different categories of rare and aggressive *** Lymphoma types are Classical Hodgkin Lymphoma,Nodular Lymphoma Predominant,Burkitt Lymphoma,Follicular Lymphoma,Mantle Lymphoma,Large B-Cell Lymphoma,and T-Cell *** proposed approach uses Residual Neural Networks,ResNet50,with a Transfer Learning for lymphoma’s detection and *** model used results are validated according to the performance evaluation metrics:Accuracy,precision,recall,F-score,and kappa score for the seven *** algorithms are tested,and the results are validated on 323 images of 224×224 pixels *** results are promising and show that our used model can classify and predict the correct lymphoma subtype with an accuracy of 91.6%.

This manuscript presents the comprehensive study of thickness stretching effects on the free vibration,static stability and bending of multilayer functionally graded(FG)carbon nanotubes reinforced composite(CNTRC)*** nanoscale and microstructure influences are considered through a modified nonlocal strain gradient continuum *** on power-law functions,four different patterns of CNTs distribution are considered in this analysis,a uniform distribution UD,FG-V CNTRC,FG-X CNTRC,and FG-O CNTRC.A 3D kinematic shear deformation theory is proposed to include the stretching influence,which is neglected in classical ***'s principle is applied to derive the governing equations of motion and associated boundary *** solutions are developed based on Galerkin method to solve the governing equilibrium equations based on the generalized higher-order shear deformation theory and the nonlocal strain gradient theory and get the static bending,buckling loads,and natural frequencies of *** with previous works is presented.A detailed parametric analysis is carried out to highlight the impact of thickness stretching,length scale parameter(nonlocal),material scale parameter(gradient),CNTs distribution pattern,geometry of the plate,various boundary conditions and the total number of layers on the stresses,deformation,critical buckling loads and vibration *** new results are also reported in the current study,which will serve as a benchmark for future research.

Electricity price forecasting(EPF)is important for energy system operations and management which include strategic bidding,generation scheduling,optimum storage reserves scheduling and systems ***,accurate EPF is crucial for the purpose of bidding strategies and minimizing the risk for market participants in the competitive electricity ***,accurate time-series prediction of electricity price is very challenging due to complex nonlinearity in the trend of electricity *** work proposes a mid-term forecasting model based on the demand and price data,renewable and non-renewable energy supplies,the seasonality and peak and off-peak hours of working and nonworking *** optimized Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU)which incorporates Bagged Regression Tree(BTE)is developed in the Recurrent Neural Network(RNN)architecture for the mid-term *** layer is employed to optimize the hyperparameters of the heterogeneous GRU with the aim to improve the model’s performance,error reduction and predict the *** this work,the proposed framework is assessed using electricity market data of five major economical states in Australia by using electricity market data from August 2020 to May *** results showed significant improvement when adopting the proposed prediction framework compared to previous works in forecasting the electricity price.

Objective:To assess the molluscicidal effect of the eco-friendly green synthesized neem silver nanoparticles(neem-Ag NPs)against Biomphalaria alexandrina,the snail intermediate host for Schistosoma mansoni,and their cercaricidal ***:Methanol extracts from neem fruits were used for green synthesis of neem-Ag *** neem-Ag NPs were characterized using UV-visible absorption spectra,dynamic laser light scattering technique,and transmission electron *** potential molluscicidal effect against adult and juvenile Biomphalaria alexandrina and the effect of the sub-lethal concentration on hatching of snail eggs and Schistosoma mansoni cercariae were ***:The surface plasmon resonance of neem-Ag NPs showed a sharp absorption peak atλ_(max)=518 nm together with multiple *** hydrodynamic diameter was(77.15±34.53)nm,the polydispersity index(0.338±0.000)and the zeta-potential-14.07 ***,transmission electron microscopy showed that the average size of the nanoparticles was(27±2)*** was evident and a light-colored capping layer could be seen coating the *** snails(LC_(50):0.83 ppm)were more susceptible to neem-Ag NPs than adults(LC_(50):1.07 ppm).In addition,neem-Ag NPs and neem at LC_(50)concentrations inhibited the egg-hatching of snails and showed cercaricidal activity in a time-dependent ***:Neem-Ag NPs have lethal activities against Biomphalaria alexandrina snails and their eggs,as well as Schistosoma mansoni ***,neem-Ag NPs could be a potential agent to control schistosomiasis.
