In this paper,Lie point symmetry method is used to obtain the general exact solution of the second order nonlinear ordinary differential equation which goveming heat transfer in rectangular fin with variable thermal *** new forms of thermal conductivity are introduced and the associated exact solution is obtained in each *** general relation among the fin efficiency,thermal conductivity and thermo-geometric parameter is obtained.

The microclimate surrounding a plant has major effect on its health and photosynthesis process,where certain plants struggle in suboptimal environmental conditions and unbalanced levels of humidity and *** ability to remotely track and correlate the effect of local environmental conditions on the healthy growth of plants can have great impact for increasing survival rate of plants and augmenting agriculture *** necessitates the widespread distribution of lightweight sensory devices on the surface of each *** flexible and biocompatible materials coupled with a smart compact design for a low power and lightweight system,we develop widely deployed,autonomous,and compliant wearables for *** demonstrated wearables integrate temperature,humidity and strain sensors,and can be intimately deployed on the soft surface of any plant to remotely and continuously evaluate optimal growth *** is enabled through simultaneous detection of environmental conditions while quantitatively tracking the growth rate(***).Finally,we establish a nature-inspired origami-assembled 3D-printed“PlantCopter”,used as a launching platform for our plant wearable to enable widespread microclimate monitoring in large fields.

Introduction: Valvular heart diseases, often linked to rheumatic heart disease, represent a major cause of cardiovascular morbidity in sub-Saharan Africa. This study reports the preliminary outcomes of surgical treatment for valvular heart diseases initiated at the Yaoundé General Hospital (YGH) by an entirely local team. materials and methods: Between September 2022 and November 2024, 37 patients underwent surgery for valvular heart diseases at YGH. A retrospective analysis of clinical, operative, and postoperative data was conducted using R software (version 4.4.0). Results: male patients predominated, with a sex ratio of 1.17. The median age at the time of surgery was 40 years (interquartile range [IQR]: 25.0 - 51.0). Dyspnea was the main symptom at admission, reported in 36 patients (97.3%). Rheumatic etiologies were the most frequent (25 cases, 67.57%), followed by atherosclerotic lesions (6 cases, 16.2%) and degenerative lesions (4 cases, 10.83%). Among the 37 patients, 19 (51.4%) underwent mitral valve replacement, 11 (29.7%) aortic valve replacement, 6 (16.2%) double mitral-aortic valve replacement, and 1 (2.7%) tricuspid valve replacement. mechanical prostheses were implanted in 27 patients (73%), while 10 patients (27%) received biological prostheses. The median duration of cardiopulmonary bypass and aortic clamping was 101 minutes (IQR: 84.75 - 146.25) and 73 minutes (IQR: 55.75 - 116.25), respectively. The median duration of mechanical ventilation and ICU stay were 2 hours (IQR: 2 - 3) and 3 days (IQR: 2 - 4), respectively. The most frequent complication was postoperative anemia requiring blood transfusion in 16 patients (43.2%). Three patients (8.1%) required reoperation for bleeding. There was no in-hospital mortality. Conclusion: Valvular heart diseases treated at YGH are predominantly of rheumatic origin. Valve replacement was by far the most commonly used technique. Early outcomes are satisfactory and encouraging.

虽然流化催化裂化（FCC）工艺已经商业化超过60年,但是该技术仍在不断的发展以适应新的挑战。本研究提出并描述了FCC汽油吸附脱硫用的沸石吸附剂及其工艺的研究进展。为了减少液体碳氢燃料中的硫含量以加强环境保护,在镍锌脱硫吸附剂上对模拟FCC汽油进行了S-Zorb吸附。首先制备了一系列沸石吸附剂,并对它们的噻吩吸附脱硫能力进行了测试。这些吸附剂对噻吩脱除具有显著的选择性。在进一步的工作中,为筛选更好的吸附剂,用氮气吸附法对吸附剂的比表面积,总孔体积以及孔大小和平均孔径进行了分析。同时用X-射线衍射,热重分析对催化剂进行了表征。X-射线衍射图表明,ZnO颗粒与氧化镍颗粒按一定比例很好地分散在了HY沸石上,并表现出较高的结晶度。TPR等分析还显示,在350℃以上时,由于负载的Ni2+减少而减少了氢气的消耗量。在活性评价时,反应温度,压力和氢油比都在脱硫中起到了关键作用,并且吸附剂脱硫率保持在90%以上。

Recently,multicore systems use Dynamic Voltage/Frequency Scaling(DV/FS)technology to allow the cores to operate with various voltage and/or frequencies than other cores to save power and enhance the *** this paper,an effective and reliable hybridmodel to reduce the energy and makespan in multicore systems is *** proposed hybrid model enhances and integrates the greedy approach with dynamic programming to achieve optimal Voltage/Frequency(Vmin/F)***,the allocation process is applied based on the *** hybrid model consists of three *** first stage gets the optimum safe voltage while the second stage sets the level of energy efficiency,and finally,the third is the allocation *** results on various benchmarks show that the proposed model can generate optimal solutions to save energy while minimizing the makespan *** with other competitive algorithms show that the proposed model provides on average 48%improvements in energy-saving and achieves an 18%reduction in computation time while ensuring a high degree of system reliability.

The present investigation deals with the positron behaviour in Alxlnl_xSb ternary semiconductor alloys in the zinc-blende phase. The calculations are mainly based on a pseudopotential approach coupled with the independent particle model. Features such as elastic constants, electron and positron chemical potentials, positron deformation potential and positron diffusion constant are determined. moreover, the positron affinity to InSb, A1Sb and their related ternary alloys and heterostructures is calculated. The present results are compared to experiment and found to be in reasonably good agreement. The information gathered from the present study can help in understanding the positron trapping at interfaces and precipitates and might be useful in slow-positron-beam experiments.

Intrusion Detection Systems(IDSs)have a great interest these days to discover complex attack events and protect the critical infrastructures of the Internet of Things(IoT)*** IDSs based on shallow and deep network architectures demand high computational resources and high volumes of data to establish an adaptive detection engine that discovers new families of attacks from the edge of IoT ***,attackers exploit network gateways at the edge using new attacking scenarios(i.e.,zero-day attacks),such as ransomware and Distributed Denial of Service(DDoS)*** paper proposes new IDS based on Few-Shot Deep Learning,named CNN-IDS,which can automatically identify zero-day attacks from the edge of a network and protect its IoT *** proposed system comprises two-methodological stages:1)a filtered Information Gain method is to select the most useful features from network data,and 2)one-dimensional Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)algorithm is to recognize new attack types from a network’s *** proposed model is trained and validated using two datasets of the UNSW-NB15 and *** experimental results showed that it enhances about a 3%detection rate and around a 3%–4%falsepositive rate with the UNSW-NB15 dataset and about an 8%detection rate using the BoT-IoT dataset.
