Breast cancer among Iraqi female in their fifth decade: a retrospective study

Background:Breast cancer is a major public health concern for women around the *** cancer incidence increases with age,and this is an important factor for the management of this *** aim of this study was to assess the clinical profiles of female Iraqi breast cancer patients in their fifth decade,and to evaluate patients'molecular profiles and 5-year disease-free survival(DFS).Methods:A retrospective study was conducted at Baghdad Oncology teaching Hospital between 1 January 2012 and 12 December *** 979 individuals seen,285 were aged between 40 and 49 ***:the median age at diagnosis was 45 *** highest incidence of breast cancer occurred among women in their fifth(40-49 years old)and sixth(50-59 years old)decades of life(29%and 28%,respectively).the most common stages at diagnosis were stages II and III,with 40.8%and 39.5%,*** A-like cancers were seen in 124 women(58.5%)and 29 women(13.7%)presented with triple-negative *** novo metastatic disease comprised just 6.7%of the group *** median DFS was 48 months(95%CI:41.4-54.5 months).Conclusions:the highest incidence of breast cancer occurred among women in their fifth and sixth decades of *** most common diagnosis was stage II breast cancer of the luminal A molecular ***-2(human epidermal growth factor receptor 2)overexpression and triple-negative were the least common *** median DFS was 48 months.

通过检测188份尤氏泰勒虫阳性样品和198份已知阴性样品,对基于重组表达tuIP抗原的间接ELISA方法检测性能进行了评价。利用two-graphic receiver-operating characteristic(tG-ROC)方法分别在95%和90%准确性的前提下,推断出了该方法的检测阈值为32.7%的阳性百分比率,检测敏感性和特异性均为98.4%。通过重复检测同样的阳性和阴性对照样品证实了该方法的稳定性和可靠性。对实验室吕氏泰勒虫感染的血清进行动态监测,发现该方法能在早期感染到两个月的感染期内检测到抗体,说明这种方法也可以用于吕氏泰勒虫感染血清学检测。该方法对来自已知的羊泰勒虫在随州和贵阳流行区域的样品阳性率分别为17.8%和11.6%,并且从一些相应的阳性样品中扩增到了18S rRNA基因片段,进一步证实了该方法检测的可靠性。以上数据表明FuIP ELASA可用于由尤氏泰勒虫和(或)吕氏泰勒虫引起的羊的泰勒虫病的血清学流行病学调查。

成环恒温扩增方法(LAMP)是一个新型的核酸检测方法,该方法需要两对或三对引物与目标DNA模板结合,在恒温条件下反应,这一方法具有高效,敏感和特异等特点。本研究中,我们以引起我国羊泰勒虫病的病原尤氏泰勒虫(theileria uilenbergi)和吕氏泰勒虫(***)同源基因(UtRu6,UtRlu8)的保守区为模板,设计了LAMP引物。这组引物能同时扩增这两种病原,反应条件为63摄氏度,反应时间为15分钟。反应产物经EcoRⅠ酶切消化和序列测定证明了反应的特异性,另外,通过测定10倍稀释的DNA样品,证明了该方法具有从0.1皮克DNA样品中扩增到目标基因的敏感性。最后,通过比较LAMP和反向线性应迹法(RLB)测定86份野外样品的结果,确定了LAMP的敏感性和特异性分别为66.0%和97.4%。由于该方法快速,简便,廉价,敏感且特异,所以它将具有对我国羊泰勒虫病的诊断和流行病学调查的潜在应用价值。

In the production of compression springs,high forming velocities and grades of deformation during winding and setting may induce cracks that can lead to failure causing risks of an accident and *** AE(acoustic emission)technology,a non-destructive monitoring method,can detect acoustic signals reflected from *** establish this method in the production of technical springs,it was necessary,to find out whether the AE signal is influenced by material properties,phase fractions distribution from tempered martensite,retained austenite,and microstructure including crystallographic *** addition,it was investigated to what extent the detected AE signal can be useful to separate between an actual crack and other material *** an in-situ three-point bending test with the AE technology,macro-and micro-crack-typical AE signals were detected for five different spring steel wires(SH,VDSiCr,and FDSiCr according to EN-10270-1 and EN-10270-2).the relative energy related to the initiation,propagation,and growth of cracks caused by mechanical stress was measured using a piezoelectric *** a crack AE signal appeared for the first time,the bending tests were stopped *** results show that the frequency spectrum combined with the intensity of the acoustic signals generated during crack growth depends on the material properties and the crystallographic ***,it could be shown that it is possible to differentiate between micro-crack-typical AE signals and other signals that result from different material responses.
