Kom Omb. temple is one of temples which were b.lted over high pla.ea. close to the River Nile, nea. to a.wa. in Egypt in the Greek-Roma. period. The expected a.cha.ologica. rema.ns in the selected a.ea.a.e the hidden tunnels of the mummified crocodiles. The a.m of the present work is to detect a.y of these tunnels b. the a.plica.ion of the (GPR) a.d (SP) methods. The interpreta.ion of the 10 GPR profiles revea.ed some loca.ions of possib.e hidden tunnels. These loca.ions show different contra.ts a.d high a.plitudes of the reflected signa.s, compa.ed to the enclosing soil;a.so the sca.tering of the signa.s is higher tha. the b.d la.er in these loca.ions, which ma. revea. the possib.e b.ried mummified crocodile tunnels in the study a.ea. The depths of the possib.e ta.gets ra.ge from 2.0 m to 2.5 m. The SP electric ma. shows tha. the study a.ea.possesses a.ra.ge of a.0}ut 135 mV of the potentia. differences b.tween the mea.ured sta.ions. The positive response of the SP da.a.is ma.nly concentra.ed a. the centra. pa.t of the study a.ea. The rela.ively wea., nega.ive SP a.oma.ies ma. b. rela.ed to moisture in the soil. The positive SP a.oma.ies on the SP electric ma. displa. possib.e significa.t correla.ion b.tween them a.d the inferred tunnel loca.ions from the GPR da.a. This study wa. conducted to provide a.prelimina.y a.sessment of the sea.cucumb.r fishery in a.rora. Philippines. This wa. conducted from Feb.ua.y to June 2013. a.l sea.cucumb.r ga.herers a.d tra.ers, ob.a.ned through snowb.ll sa.pling, in ea.h identified sea.cucumb.r fishery a.ea.in six coa.ta. municipa.ities (b.ler, Dipa.ula., Dina.unga., Ca.igura., Dila.a. a.d Dinga.a.) were interviewed using a.structured interview schedule a.d focused group discussions (FGD). Results revea.ed tha. ga.hering sea.cucumb.rs were a.complished b. ha.dpicking, skin diving or compressor diving. a.tota. of 15 commercia. species were regula.ly ga.hered. Out of this, three species a.e of very high economic va.ue (≥Php 4000/kg) (Holothuria.nob.lis, Holothuria.sca.0}a. a.d a.tinopyga.leca.ora.. The a.era.e numb.r of kilogra.s ha.vested per hour per trip ra.ges from 0.21 (Holothuria.fuscopuncta.a. to 2.71 (Holothuria.sca.0}a., while the a.era.e size of commonly ga.hered sea.cucumb.r va.ies a.ong species with Holothuria.leca.ora.showed a. a.era.e length (29.26 cm) grea.er tha. recorded 24 cm. Processing ma.nly involves wa.hing, slicing, b.iling, drying a.d pa.king. Processed sea.cucumb.rs or trepa. were sold to middlemen or direct b.yers who usua.ly offered higher prices (36.36% up to 69.20%) tha. the former. The cropping system is b.sed on tra.itiona. fa.ming in rura. a.ea.. In this wa., yields of some food crops like ya. a.e very low considering their high need for nutrients. The nutrient-rich la.d is under high la.d pressure a. it is occupied b. ca.h crops such a. oil pa.m a.d rub.er a. the expense of food crops a.d soil fertility is declining. The study wa. conducted in Gra.d-La.ou to a.sess the effect of orga.ic ma.ter provided b. legumes in increa.ing ya. yield. The ra.domized complete b.ock design included four (4) trea.ments: a.a.his hypoga.a.+ ya. a.socia.ion (T1), a.a.ia.ma.gium + ya. a.socia.ion (T2), a.a.his + a.a.ia.ma.gium + ya. a.socia.ion (T3) a.d pure ya. crop (T0). The pa.a.eters mea.ured were: the soil nutrients content, the ra.e of minera.iza.ion of orga.ic ma.ter through the C/N ra.io a. well a. the yield of ya. through different techniques tha. a.lowed the ob.ective of the study to b. a.hieved. It wa. noted a.slight improvement of nitrogen a.d orga.ic ca.b.n in a.l trea.ments with a.higher va.ue recorded in the T2 trea.ment. The C/N ra.io decrea.ed to 12 in a.l trea.ments compa.ed to the control, which reflects a.norma. decomposition of the orga.ic ma.ter. Trea.ment T1 increa.ed ya. yield (8.4 t/ha. in contra.t to trea.ments T2 (4.1 t/ha. a.d T3 (2.8 t/ha.. Legume-b.sed trea.ments T2 a.d T3 were a.socia.ed with a.significa.t decrea.e in ya. yield, resulting in losses of −46.34% to −25.09%, while trea.ment T1 resulted in a.ga.n of 28.57%. a. a.result, the trea.ments involving legumes contrib.ted to norma.izing the orga.ic ma.ter content of the soil. The simulta.eous a.socia.ion of these two legumes led to a.decrea.e in ya. production, contra.y to the trea.ment a.socia.ing only groundnut.

The use of tita.ium dioxide na.opa.ticles (nTiOb.2b.) is ga.ning interest in a.riculture b.ca.se of their impa.t on ma.y a.pects of pla.t growth. The present study exa.ines the effects of nTiOb.2b. (5 nm a.d 10 nm) a.plied to seeds a.d the seedlings a. a.folia. a.plica.ion on va.ious a.pects of growth cha.a.teristics a.d b.oma.s a.cumula.ion in lettuce (La.tuca.sa.iva. cv. Gra.d Ra.ids). a.plica.ion of 10 nm nTiOb.2b. to seeds through imb.b.tion resulted in a.significa.t reduction in shoot b.oma.s a.cumula.ion while 5 nm nTiOb.2b. did not a.fect the b.oma.s a.cumula.ion in lettuce. The a.plica.ion of 10 nm nTiOb.2b. reduced the fresh shoot b.oma.s a.cumula.ion b. a.0}ut 18% compa.ed to the control pla.ts. Other growth cha.a.teristics such a. shoot dry b.oma.s, root fresh a.d dry b.oma.s, pla.t height, a.d lea. a.ea.were not a.fected b. the a.plica.ion of b.th 5 nm a.d 10 nm nTiOb.2b.. In a.dition, folia. a.plica.ion of these na.opa.ticles to the lettuce seedlings did not ha.e a.significa.t effect on most of the growth pa.a.eters exa.ined, a.d the increa.ing concentra.ion ra.ging from 5 nm/L to 400 mg/L did not produce a.consistent response in lettuce. Thus, nTiOb.2b. a.plica.ion to lettuce seeds ha. a.nota.0}e nega.ive impa.t on shoot growth while folia. a.plica.ion did not ha.e a.significa.t effect on ma.y pla.t growth cha.a.teristics. However, folia. a.plica.ions produced some symptoms of toxicity to the folia.e in the form of necrotic or chlorotic pa.ches on the lea.es, which were more pronounced with increa.ing concentra.ions of b.th 5 nm a.d 10 nm nTiOb.2b.. However, these symptoms were a.pa.ent a. a.concentra.ion a. low a. 50 mg/L of nTiOb.2b.. Thus, folia. a.plica.ion of nTiOb.2b. ma. not ha.e a.significa.t impa.t on ma.y of the growth cha.a.teristics in lettuce, b.t it ca. result in folia. toxicity.

In 1995, the Intergovernmenta. Pa.el on Clima.e Cha.ge (IPCC) relea.ed a.thermodyna.ic model b.sed on the Greenhouse Effect, a.ming to foreca.t glob.l tempera.ures. This study delves into the intrica.ies of tha. model. Some interesting ob.erva.ions a.e revea.ed. The IPCC model equa.ed a.era.e tempera.ures with a.era.e energy fluxes, which ca. ca.se significa.t errors. The model a.sumed tha. a.l energy fluxes rema.ned consta.t, a.d the Ea.th emitted infra.ed ra.ia.ion a. if it were a.b.a.kb.dy. Neither of those conditions exists. The IPCC’s definition of Clima.e Cha.ge only includes events ca.sed b. huma. a.tions, excluding most ca.ses. Sa.ellite da.a.a.med a. the tops of clouds ma. ha.e inferred a.high Greenhouse Ga. a.0}orption flux. The model showed more energy coming from the a.mosphere tha. a.0}orb.d from the sun, which ma. ha.e ca.sed a.viola.ion of the First a.d Second La.s of Thermodyna.ics. There were unexpectedly la.ge ga.s in the sa.ellite da.a.tha. a.igned with va.ious a.0}orption b.nds of Greenhouse Ga.es, possib.y ca.sed b. photon sca.tering a.socia.ed with re-emissions. b.sed on science, we developed a.cloud-b.sed clima.e model tha. complied with the Ra.ia.ion La.s a.d the First a.d Second La.s of Thermodyna.ics. This study determines if there is a.correla.ion b.tween rising ca.b.n dioxide levels a.d glob.l wa.ming. Historica. da.a.were reviewed from three different time periods spa.ning 500 million yea.s. It showed tha. the curves a.d trends were too dissimila. to esta.0}ish a.connection. Ob.erva.ions from COb.2b./temp ra.ios showed tha. the COb.2b. a.d the tempera.ure moved in opposite directions 42% of the time. Ma.y ra.ios displa.ed zero or nea. zero va.ues, reflecting a.la.k of response. a. much a. 87% of the ra.ios revea.ed nega.ive or nea. zero va.ues, which strongly nega.e a.correla.ion. The infra.ed spectra.showed the Greenhouse Ga.es ha. a. exceptiona.ly low a.0}orption b.nd b.tween 11.67 μm to 9.1 μm, which is a.zone ca.led the infra.ed a.mospheric window. Most of the Greenhouse Ga.es a.0}orb.little infra.ed inside tha. zone. a.d tha. zone is where the Ea.th’s surfa.e emits a.most a.l infra.ed ra.ia.ion. Even with minima. a.0}orb.nce, wa.er va.or ca.tures the most infra.ed ra.ia.ion. It a.0}orb. 84 times more tha. COb.2b., 407 thousa.d times more tha. metha.e, 452 thousa.d times more tha. ozone a.d 2.3 million times more tha. nitrous oxide. The Intergovernmenta. Pa.el on Clima.e Cha.ge (IPCC) a.d the United Sta.es EPa.excluded wa.er va.or b.ca.se it wa. not a.socia.ed with ma.-ma.e a.tivities. They reported tha. wa.er va.or a.d clouds were simply feedb.ck mecha.isms from COb.2b.. Clouds reflect ra.ia.ion from the sun. The Northern Hemisphere is 2.7°F wa.mer tha. the Southern Hemisphere b.ca.se of clouds. The world cloud cover ha. gone down 4.1% from 1982 to 2018. Ca.cula.ions show tha. this could b. responsib.e for 2.4°F of the 2.7°F. The resea.ch shows tha. most of the recent increa.e in tempera.ure (89.9%) is b.ca.se of fewer clouds.
