护理专业国际学生短期访学教育项目的设计与实施

目的旨在描述制定及评估一项短期留学生研究和教育项目。方法研究分为项目制定与实施及评价2部分。根据1名国际学生的短期访学需求,护理学院的全球护理项目协调员和首席导师共同确定项目基本内容和团队成员。该项目学习活动考虑了该国际学生对老年人和居家临终关怀的兴趣,包括4项内容:.开展研究工作,参与教学活动,参与临床实践活动,以及特殊活动和专业发展培训课程。在为期6个月的访学结束时,对参与此次教学活动的教师、研究生及留学生进行访谈和简短问卷调查。结果通过访谈了解到3个方面的内容:通过参与该项目中获得的经验(增强了教育和研究的多样性,获得了新的全球医疗保健知识,对文化意识的自我反思和促进);项目实施的障碍和挑战(签证申请过程,英语语言障碍,缺乏公共交通设施,时间安排冲突);克服这些障碍和挑战的策略(在课程中增加文化多样性信息;与其他同学一起学习英语;使用不同的沟通技巧;在签证申请过程中与大学全球事务办公室持续合作;提供互动体验)。所有项目参与者都对该项目表示非常满意(4.67±0.50),认为对他们在科研、教学和临床实践方面的护理技能有很大影响(4.67±0.50)。结论此次项目的参与者均获得了相关经验,可用于今后的教学指导活动。国际护理专业学生需要得到帮助才能更好地适应访学环境,教师必须具有文化敏感性,了解学生的学习需求,并倡导营造适合学生学习的环境。

Software delivery is vital for modern organizations, driving innovation and competitiveness. Measuring an organization’s maturity in software delivery is crucial for efficiency and quality. The Capability Maturity Model (CMM) framework provides a roadmap for improvement but assessing an organization’s CMM Level is challenging. This paper offers a quantitative approach tailored to the CMM framework, using Goal-Question-Metric (GQM) frame-works for each key process area (KPA). These frameworks include metrics and questions to compute maturity scores effectively. The study also refines practices into questions for a thorough assessment. The result is an Analysis Matrix that calculates weighted scores and an overall maturity score. This approach helps organizations assess and enhance their software delivery processes systematically, aiming for improved practices and growth.

Ischemic heart disease(IHD)is one of the leading causes of death ***,different geographic regions show different variations of the risk factors of this disease based on the different lifestyles of *** study examines the current IHD condition in southern Bangladesh,a Southeast Asian middle-income *** main approach to this research is an Al-based proposal of a reduced set of the greatest impact clinical traits that may cause *** approach attempts to reduce IHD morbidity and mortality by early detection of risk factors using the reduced set of clinical ***,diagnostic,and symptomatic features were considered for analysing this clinical *** pre-processing utilizes several machine learning techniques to select significant features and make meaningful interpretations.A proposed voting mechanism ranked the selected 138 features by their impact *** this regard,diverse patterns in correlations with variables,including age,sex,career,family history,obesity,etc.,were calculated and explained in terms of voting *** the 138 risk factors,three labels were categorized:high-risk,medium-risk,and low-risk features;19 features were regarded as high,25 were medium,and 94 were considered low impactful *** research's technological methodology and practical goals provide an innovative and resilient framework for addressing IHD,especially in less developed cities and townships of Bangladesh,where the general population's socioeconomic conditions are often *** data collection,pre-processing,and use of this study's complete and comprehensive IHD patient dataset is another innovative *** believe that other relevant research initiatives will benefit from this work.

Is Blumensaat Inclination Angle (BIA) and Angle between Blumensaat line and Tibal Slope (BATS) a Risk Factor for ACL Injury?

Introduction: Femoral and tibial morphology posted as anatomical risk factors for ACL injuries. Samora *** found out that a decreased BIA was associated with ACL rupture. Alentorn-Geli et al. found that the angle between the Blumensaat line and the anterior tibial slope (BATS angle) was significantly greater in men with ACL injury. However, other authors were not able to reproduce the similar findings. Our study aimed to determine the Blumensaat inclination angle (BIA) and angle between Blumensaat line and tibial slope (BATS) in patients with or without anterior cruciate ligament injury. We also explored the factors influence them. Method: We elavuated 142 MRI knee done in Hospital Sultan Ismail from January 2017 to November 2020. Study group was patient with ACL injuries, with or without meniscus and cartilage injuries. Control group was patient with no ACL injuries. 57 patients with history of fracture around the knee joint, multiligamentous injuries, inflammatory arthritis and tumour were excluded from the study. We recorded their age, gender, BIA, and BATS angle. BIA and BATS angle were measured in sagittal plane MRI as described by Koji Iswasaki et al. and Alentorn-Geli et al. Result: 54 patients were in study group and 31 years in control group. The mean age for study group was 32.7 (8.95) year old, and for control group was 42.5 (14.54). The mean BIA for study group was 36.20 (4.542) degree, and control group was 37.25 (4.941). The mean BATS for study group was 36.33 (5.78) degree, and control group was 25.26 (6.047) degree. BIA and BATS angle did not differ in both groups, age and gender. Conclusion: Our study did not show BIA and BATS angle as an anatomical risk factor for ACL injuries. Age and gender did not affect these angles.

Many nanoparticles have been created over the last few decades using a variety of techniques and used to develop environmental technology, including water treatment, the detection of persistent contaminants, and soil and water remediation. The studies of alternative inputs for nanoparticle production as well as the use of green synthesis techniques are driven by the field of materials science and engineering’s growing interest in increasing the sustainability of the processes involved in their production. In this paper, we begin by providing an overview of the fundamental principles of producing nanoparticles from different sources, such as plastic, electronic, metal, and industrial waste. We elaborate on key facts of waste identification as a workable input for the treatment and recovery of metal and carbon-based nanoparticles. We next go over several controlling factors that play a role in creating nanoparticles, pointing out probable conclusions as we go. Then, we show some instances of waste-derived nanoparticles used in a proof-of-concept experiment of technology for applications in water quality and safety. Before scaling up production and implementing waste-derived nanoparticles, there are several present problems from the toxicological and life-cycle perspectives that must be taken into account.

Congenital unilateral lower lip palsy(CULLP),or congenital hypoplasia of the depressor anguli oris muscle,also known as asymmetric crying facies,is a rare condition that results in asymmetry of the lower lip during smiling,laughing,and *** the etiology is unknown,weakness of the depressor labii inferioris(DLI)muscle is implicated as a contributing ***,no well-established treatment options are *** case report describes an 18-year-old male patient diagnosed with *** examination revealed a symmetric face at rest,but asymmetry when smiling and opening the *** the administration of lidocaine into the affected DLI muscle,the patient’s smile and lower lip symmetry were immediately restored without any adverse ***,administration of botulinum toxin for neuromodulation of the DLI muscle led to a significant improvement in symmetry and oral function within 2 weeks,which was sustained at 1 month and 3 months *** adverse effects were reported,and both patients and families expressed high satisfaction with the *** case highlights the potential use of neuromodulation as a minimally invasive and effective treatment for CULLP.
