The evident change in the design of the autopilot system produced massive help for the aviation industry and it required frequent *** learning delivers appropriate outcomes when considering a continuous environment where the controlling Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)required maximum *** this paper,we designed a hybrid framework,which is based on Reinforcement Learning and Deep Learning where the traditional electronic flight controller is replaced by using 3D hand *** algorithm is designed to take the input from 3D hand gestures and integrate with the Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient(DDPG)to receive the best reward and take actions according to 3D hand gestures *** UAV consist of a Jetson Nano embedded testbed,Global Positioning System(GPS)sensor module,and Intel depth *** collision avoidance system based on the polar mask segmentation technique detects the obstacles and decides the best path according to the designed reward *** analysis of the results has been observed providing best accuracy and computational time using novel design framework when compared with traditional Proportional Integral Derivatives(PID)flight *** are six reward functions estimated for 2500,5000,7500,and 10000 episodes of training,which have been normalized between 0 to−*** best observation has been captured on 2500 episodes where the rewards are calculated for maximum *** achieved training accuracy of polar mask segmentation for collision avoidance is 86.36%.

Rheology and lubricity characteristics study at different temperatures using synthesized SnO_(2) nanoparticles in KCl free bentonite water base mud

Drilling mud is a major concerning element due to its high operational and economic impact on the drilling *** additives are introduced to enhance the efficiency of drilling fluid,but none of them could perfectly achieve their proposed efficacy in drilling *** conceived several nanoparticles(NPs)in drilling fluid to dissolve this *** a singular instance,commercial tin oxide(SnO_(2))nanoparticles were utilized to analyze the influence of NPs on the rheological and filtration properties of inorganic KCl salt-based drilling ***,the effect of SnO_(2) NPs on mud lubricity characteristics is not studied ***,due to the hazardous behavior of KCl,its use is very ***,we consider a KCl-free bentonite water-based mud to avoid any environmental damages from drilling *** also use SnO_(2) NPs that is synthesized in our laboratory by co-precipitation *** addition to rheological and filtration properties,we also investigate the effect of NPs on mud's lubricity that was not considered in the previous *** fluid properties are measured at five different NPs concentrations of 0.10,0.25,0.50,0.75&1.0 wt%,and at six different temperatures of 30,40,50,60,70,and 80°C,while filtration properties are measured using API low-pressure low temperature(LPLT)*** addition of 0.1 wt%SnO_(2) NPs increases plastic viscosity,yield point,10 s gel strength,and 10 min gel strength by 10%,63%,20%,and 14%,*** maximum reduction in lubricity coefficient is found to be 14%at NPs concentration of 1.0 wt%.The NPs concentration of 0.5 wt%yielded a reduction in fluid loss and mud cake thickness by 8.1%and 34%,*** study suggests that SnO_(2) NPs can be employed as an additive to improve the rheology,lubricity,and filtration properties of KCl-free bentonite water-based drilling mud.

Invaders’ control on post-disturbance succession in coastal mangroves

Aims In recent years,coastal mangroves have been frequently affected by large disturbances(cyclones,hurricanes,flooding and tsunamis)and post-disturbance vegetation is often dominated by small stature mangrove,mangrove-associate and non-mangrove species potentially affecting ecosystem *** on the processes of mangrove vegetation development and recovery(succession)following normal and large disturbances will benefit practitioners in designing robust ecosystem management/restoration *** we propose a conceptual model of disturbance-mediated succession in *** based on field observations and species’life history traits,we develop conceptual models of mangrove succession under normal disturbance regime and recently experienced increased frequency of large *** evaluate our conceptual models by conducting a scenario testing *** Findings We suggest two predominant processes affecting mangrove succession after disturbance:propagule limitation due to damage of seed producing mature trees and dispersal barrier resulting from biological invasion associated with large *** argue that large disturbances affect mature trees more than the small-stature non-tree(shrubs,herbs and climbers)species creating a larger propagule shortage for mangrove tree species than non-tree ***,large disturbances facilitate invasion of free-floating aquatics,which may interfere with the flow-facilitated propagule dispersal and seedling establishment of mangrove *** a scenario testing experiment,we have shown that similar levels of disturbance impact vegetation development and recovery differently depending on the presence or absence of invasive *** conclude that since biological invasion is one of the major drivers of post-disturbance mangrove succession,the dimension of biological invasion should be included in prediction,management and restoration of mangrove forests.

Effect of Gamma Irradiation Doses on morphological and biochemical Attributes of Grape Saplings

The demand of grape in bangladesh is fulfilled through import from foreign countries. The fruits of local cultivars of grapes are sour and seeded. Development of seedless grape varieties having increased sweetness, higher yield with better nutritional quality is necessary to reduce the import dependency. The present research activities are the part of a grape improvement project. A pot experiment was conducted at the bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (bINA), mymensingh, during June to November 2011 to determine the suitable gamma irradiation doses on growth, leaf area and biochemical characters of grape saplings. Three vegetative bud stages viz. bud initiation stage, 4-leaf stage and 8-leaf stage, and four doses of gamma irradiation viz. 0, 5, 10, and 15 Gy were used as treatments. The experiment was laid out in a Randomized Complete block Design with four replications. Different irradiation doses and vegetative bud stages showed significant variations in respect of plant growth characters, leaf area, soluble protein and total sugar content. Interaction effects also had significant variations on most of the parameters studied. Higher doses of gamma irradiation had showed detrimental effect on grape saplings. Generally, increased in irradiation doses showed decreased and detrimental effects on most of the parameters under study. maximum numbers and length of roots, total dry matter, leaf area and chlorophyll-a and chlorophyll-b content were found at 5 Gy irradiation dose. Total soluble protein and sugar content of leaf were found maximum at no irradiation and 15 Gy, respectively. Higher number of roots and length, total dry matter, leaf area, chlorophyll-a, and b and soluble protein content of leaf were observed at bud initiation stage while 8-leaf stage showed maximum total sugar of leaf. In the combined effect of gamma irradiation and vegetative bud stages, all parameters showed best results in 5 Gy with bud initiation stage except total sugar content of
