The rare earth element（REE） data from the Paleoproterozoic Bijawar basin,Sonrai phosphorites were used to interpret the depositional conditions of the *** post archean Australian shales（PAAS） normalized REE patterns of the Sonrai phosphorites were characterized by negative Ce and positive Eu *** rare earth elements（MREE）-enrichment was a characteristic *** showing the diagenetic effects on the REE patterns were *** observed Eu anomaly was indicative of an anoxic（or sulphate reducing） diagenetic environment of phosphate *** of sea water and upwelling during the Paleoproterozoic was responsible for the recording of positive Eu and negative Ce anomalies in the Sonrai phosphorites.

Bayesian optimization(BO)has been leveraged for guiding autonomous and high-throughput experiments in materials ***,few have evaluated the efficiency of BO across a broad range of experimental materials *** this work,we quantify the performance of BO with a collection of surrogate model and acquisition function pairs across five diverse experimental materials *** defining acceleration and enhancement metrics for materials optimization objectives,we find that surrogate models such as Gaussian Process(GP)with anisotropic kernels and Random Forest(RF)have comparable performance in BO,and both outperform the commonly used GP with isotropic *** with anisotropic kernels has demonstrated the most robustness,yet RF is a close alternative and warrants more consideration because it is free from distribution assumptions,has smaller time complexity,and requires less effort in initial hyperparameter *** also raise awareness about the benefits of using GP with anisotropic kernels in future materials optimization campaigns.

This paper presents the mathematical analysis of the dynamical system for avian *** proposed model considers a nonlinear dynamical model of birds and *** half-saturated incidence rate is used for the transmission of avian influenza *** mathematical results are presented for the proposed *** local and global dynamics of each model are presented and proven that when R01,then the endemic equilibrium is stable both locally and *** numerical results obtained for the proposed model shows that influenza could be eliminated from the community if the threshold is not greater than unity.

Disaster-resilient dams require accurate crack detection,but machine learning methods cannot capture dam structural reaction temporal patterns and *** research uses deep learning,convolutional neural networks,and transfer learning to improve dam crack *** deep-learning models are trained on 192 crack *** research aims to provide up-to-date detecting techniques to solve dam crack *** finding shows that the EfficientNetB0 model performed better than others in classifying borehole concrete crack surface tiles and normal(undamaged)surface tiles with 91%*** study’s pre-trained designs help to identify and to determine the specific locations of cracks.

In this paper,we propose an innovative chaotic system,combining fractional derivative and sinehyperbolic nonlinearity with circuit *** study of this system is conducted via an analog circuit simulator,using two anti-parallel semiconductor diodes to provide hyperbolic sine nonlinearity,and to function as operational *** multi-stability of the system is also enhanced with the help of multi-equilibrium points for distinct real orders of *** system explores the generation of a four-wing attractor in different phases,both numerically and *** changing the input parameters of the system,different graphs are generated for current flow in state,phase,and space,to confirm the precision of the fractional order derivatives.A reasonable simulation shows that the deliberate circuit provides effective chaos in terms of speed and accuracy,which is comensurate with the numerical *** nonlinear chaotic behavior is utilized to encrypt sound(.wav),images(.jpg),and animated(.gif)data which are a major requirement for the security of communication *** proposed circuit performs chaos and cryptographic tasks with high-effective analog computation,and constitutes a novel approach to this area of research.

Periodontitis is an inflammatory disease of the periodontium. Any imbalance between the matrix metalloproteinases （MMPs） secreted by neutrophils and tissue inhibitors initiates the destruction of collagen in gum tissue, leading to chronic periodontitis. This study aimed to correlate salivary levels of MMP-8 and periodontal parameters of chronic periodontitis to establish MMP-8 as a noninvasive marker for the early diagnosis of chronic periodontitis. The study involved 40 subjects visiting the periodontic OPD of Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College and Hospital, located in Aligarh, U.P., India, from 2011 to 2012. The subjects were divided into two groups： group I consisted of 20 periodontally healthy subjects （controls） while group II consisted of 20 patients with chronic periodontitis. Chronic periodontitis was assessed on the basis of several periodontal parameters, including pocket probing depth （PPD）, clinical attachment level （CAL）, gingival index （GI）, and plaque index （PI）. Around 3 ml of unstimulated and whole expectorated saliva was collected for MMP-8 estimation by ELISA using Quantikine human total MMP-8 immunoassay kits. Data were analyzed using STATISTICA （Windows version 6） software. Salivary MMP-8 levels of groups I and II were 190.91 ± 143.89 ng/ml and 348.26± 202.1 ng/ml, respectively. The MMP-8 levels and periodontal status （PPD, CAL, GI, and PI） of groups I and II showed positive and significant correlations （for PPD, r = 0.63, P 〈 0.001; for CAL, r = 0.54, P 〈 0.001; for GI, r = 0.49, P 〈 0.001; and for PI, r = 0.63, P 〈 0.001）. The results of this study demonstrate elevated concentrations of MMP-8 in individuals with chronic periodontitis.

Rapid and accurate chemical composition identification is critically important in *** it can be achieved with optical absorption spectrometry by comparing the experimental spectra with the reference data when the chemical compositions are simple,such application is limited in more complicated scenarios especially in nano-scale *** is due to the difficulties in identifying optical absorption peaks(i.e.,from“featureless”spectra)arose from the *** this work,using the ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)absorption spectra of metal nanoclusters(NCs)as a demonstration,we develop a machine-learningbased method to unravel the compositions of metal NCs behind the“featureless”*** implementing a one-dimensional convolutional neural network,good matches between prediction results and experimental results and low mean absolute error values are achieved on these optical absorption spectra that human cannot *** work opens a door for the identification of nanomaterials at molecular precision from their optical properties,paving the way to rapid and high-throughput characterizations.

Highly reliable and flexible control is required for distributed generation(DG) to efficiently connect to the *** inverters play a key role in the control and integration of DG into the power grid and provide advanced functionalities. In this paper, an energy-based single-phase voltage-source smart inverter(SPV-SSI) of 5 k VA is designed and analyzed in detail. SPV-SSI is capable of supplying the power to local load and the utility load up to the rated capacity of the inverter, injecting the power into the grid, storing the energy in lead-acid battery bank, controlling the voltage at the point of common coupling(PCC) during voltage sags or faults, and making decisions on real-time pricing information obtained from the utility grid through advanced metering. The complete design of smart inverter in dq frame, bi-directional DC-DC buck-boost converter, IEEE standard 1547 based islanding and recloser, and static synchronous compensator(STATCOM) functionalities is presented in this paper. Moreover, adaptive controllers, i. e., fuzzy proportional-integral(F-PI) controller and fuzzy-sliding mode controller(F-SMC) are designed. The performances of F-PI controller and F-SMC are superior, stable, and robust compared with those of conventionally tuned PI controllers for voltage control loop(islanded mode) and current control loop(grid-connected mode).

Objective:To determine the genetic diversity,natural selection and mutations in Plasmodium(P.)knowlesi drug resistant molecular markers Kelch 13 and dhps gene in clinical samples of ***:*** full-length gene sequences Kelch 13 gene(PkK13)from 40 samples and dhps gene from 30 samples originating from Malaysian Borneo were retrieved from public *** diversity,natural selection,and phylogenetic analysis of gene sequences were analysed using DNAsp v5.10 and MEGA ***:Seventy-two single nucleotide polymorphic sites(SNPs)across the full-length PkK13 gene(63 synonymous substitutions and 9 non-synonymous substitutions)with nucleotide diversity ofπ~0.005 was *** of the full-length Pkdhps gene revealed 73 SNPs andπ~0.006(44 synonymous substitutions and 29 non-synonymous substitutions).A high number of haplotypes(PkK13;H=37 and Pkdhps;H=29)with haplotype diversity of Hd~0.99 were found in both genes,indicating population *** mutant alleles were identified in PkK13 amino acid alignment of which,7(Asp3Glu,Lys50Gln,Lys53Glu,Ser123Thr,Ser127Pro,Ser149Thr and Ala169Thr)were within the Plasmodium specific domain,2(Val372Ile and Lys424Asn)were in the BTB/POZ domain and no mutation was observed within the kelch propeller *** 29 non-synonymous mutations in the Pkdhps gene were novel and only presented in exon 1 and ***:Monitoring the mutations from clinical samples collected from all states of Malaysia along with clinical efficacy studies will be necessary to determine the drug resistance in ***.
