Luminescence regulation of Sb^(3+)in 0D hybrid metal halides by hydrogen bond network for optical anti-counterfeiting

The Sb^(3+) doping strategy has been proven to be an effective way to regulate the band gap and improve the photophysical properties of organic-inorganic hybrid metal halides(OIHMHs).However,the emission of Sb^(3+) ions in OIHMHs is primarily confined to the low energy region,resulting in yellow or red emissions.To date,there are few reports about green emission of Sb^(3+)-doped OIHMHs.Here,we present a novel approach for regulating the luminescence of Sb^(3+) ions in 0D C_(10)H_(2)_(2)N_(6)InCl_(7)·H_(2)O via hydrogen bond network,in which water molecules act as agents for hydrogen bonding.Sb^(3+)-doped C_(10)H_(2)2N_(6)InCl_(7)·H_(2)O shows a broadband green emission peaking at 540 nm and a high photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)of 80%.It is found that the intense green emission stems from the radiative recombination of the self-trapped excitons(STEs).Upon removal of water molecules with heat,C_(10)H_(2)_(2)N_(6)In_(1-x)Sb_(x)Cl_(7) generates yellow emis-sion,attributed to the breaking of the hydrogen bond network and large structural distortions of excited state.Once water molecules are adsorbed by C_(10)H_(2)_(2)N_(6)In_(1-x)Sb_(x)Cl_(7),it can subsequently emit green light.This water-induced reversible emission switching is successfully used for optical security and information encryption.Our findings expand the under-standing of how the local coordination structure influences the photophysical mechanism in Sb^(3+)-doped metal halides and provide a novel method to control the STEs emission.

Mobile ad hoc network(MANET)is a dynamically reconfigurable wireless network with time-variable infrastructure.Given that nodes are highly mobile,MANET’s topology often changes.These changes increase the difficulty in finding the routes that the packets use when they are routed.This study proposes an algorithm called genetic algorithm-based location-aided routing(GALAR)to enhance the MANET routing protocol efficiency.The GALAR algorithm maintains an adaptive update of the node location information by adding the transmitting node location information to the routing packet and selecting the transmitting node to carry the packets to their destination.The GALAR was constructed based on a genetic optimization scheme that considers all contributing factors in the delivery behavior using criterion function optimization.Simulation results showed that the GALAR algorithm can make the probability of packet delivery ratio more than 99%with less network overhead.Moreover,GALAR was compared to other algorithms in terms of different network evaluation measures.The GALAR algorithm significantly outperformed the other algorithms that were used in the study.

Objective:To investigate the successive morphological stages of spermatogenesis,hormonal regulation,and testosterone profile in dromedary camel reproduction.Methods:Testicular tissue samples were obtained from 12 dromedary bull camels aged 7 to 8 at a local abattoir.The histological assessment involved tissue processing,hematoxylin and eosin(H&E)staining,and examination under a microscope.Stereological analysis,germ cell identification,and assessment of seminiferous tubules and maturation were conducted.Testosterone assay was performed by radioimmunoassay using blood samples collected at regular intervals.Results:The study revealed 12 phases of the dromedary camel's seminiferous epithelium cycle,highlighting distinct morphological characteristics and cellular processes.Acrosomal migration,maturation,cap formation,and the Golgi-mediated synthesis of proacrosomal vesicles were also explained in dimension,as were the steps of acrosome biogenesis.Spermatids and mature sperm cells were present when spermatogenesis phases were examined.An analysis of the dimensions of seminiferous tubules revealed specific measures for diameter,area,and epithelial height about luminal characteristics.Moreover,there were noticeable variations in the serum testosterone concentrations during the study period,indicating temporal dynamics.Conclusions:This study outlines the spermatogenesis process in dromedary camels across 12 stages,emphasizing cellular dynamics and acrosomal biogenesis.It also provides seminiferous tubule measurements and observes seasonal testosterone fluctuations,offering insights into reproductive regulation and potential strategies for camel breeding conservation.

Micro-computed tomography (MCT) encompasses two primary scanning options: ex-vivo and in-vivo imaging. Ex-vivo scanning involves the examination of extracted teeth or dental specimens, allowing for detailed analyses of the microarchitecture of mineralized tissue. By analyzing the microarchitecture of dental tissues, MCT can provide valuable information about bone density, porosity, and microstructural changes, contributing to a better understanding of disease progression and treatment outcomes. Moreover, MCT facilitates the quantification of dental parameters, such as bone volume, trabecular thickness, and connectivity density, which are crucial for evaluating the efficacy of dental interventions. This present study aims to comprehensively review and explore the applications of MCT in dentistry and highlight its potential in advancing research and clinical practice. The results depicted that the quantitative approach of MCT enhances the precision and reliability of dental research. Researchers and clinicians can make evidence-based decisions regarding treatment strategies and patient management, relying on quantifiable data provided by MCT. The applications of MCT in dentistry extend beyond research, with potential clinical implications in fields such as dental implantology and endodontics. MCT is expected to play an increasingly significant role in enhancing our understanding of dental pathologies, improving treatment outcomes, and ultimately, benefiting patient care in the field of dentistry.

土壤养分和酶是影响林木生长的重要因素，林木生长速率可以直接反映不同经营模式实施的效果。研究红锥在不同目标树经营密度下根际土壤养分和酶之间的关系及对林木生长的影响，可为红锥大径材的经营培育提供参考依据。以13年生的红锥人工林为研究对象，采取目标树经营密度为60 株/hm2、120 株/hm2、180 株/hm2、传统间伐和不间伐5种不同处理，分析经营4年后的红锥生长及根际土壤中养分和酶的影响。结果显示：1.与传统间伐相比，120 株/hm2的目标树密度显著提高了红锥4年的胸径和单株材积生长量。2.间伐能提高红锥根际土壤养分含量及酶活性，但会导致pH值和全氮下降。其中目标树密度为120 株/hm2下红锥根际土壤中的有机质、速效氮、全磷、速效磷含量及过氧化氢酶、蔗糖酶和脲酶活性最高且显著高于传统间伐，分别高出23.61%、37.67%、57.89%、50.39%、14.12%、28.81%和34.21%。酸性磷酸酶活性在60 株/hm2的目标树密度中最高。全钾和速效钾含量在传统间伐中最高。3.相关性分析和通径分析表明：土壤养分与土壤酶密切相关，其中有机质、速效氮、全磷和速效磷与胸径和材积生长量还呈现出显著的正相关。综上所述，目标树经营有效释放了红锥的生长空间，有利于根际土壤养分积累和提高酶活性，从而加快红锥生长速度，其中目标树密度为120 株/hm2的经营效果最佳。

埋在地下数十年的金属波纹管(CMP)可能会被腐蚀,失去支撑地表荷载的结构能力,从而导致其使用寿命的结束。对于这些锈蚀的金属波纹管,实践中通常采用三种维护方案:维修、修复和更换。通过挖掘来更换埋在路面下的CMP的维护方案往往会扰乱交通,并且需要大量的时间和预算。因此,非开挖修复方法,如水泥砂浆(喷涂)衬砌、滑动衬砌、就地固化管道、折叠成型管道、定点修复和螺旋缠绕等,已越来越多地用于修复道路下腐蚀的CMP。然而,对使用喷涂衬里方法修复的CMP行为进行评估的研究还很有限。本研究使用FLAC3D软件进行了数值分析,以评估采用喷涂衬砌法修复的埋地腐蚀CMP的行为。首先利用现有的腐蚀CMP现场测试结果对数值模型进行了验证。然后进行了参数研究,考察了CMP直径、埋入深度、喷涂衬里的抗压强度和厚度以及路面类型对水平和垂直直径变化的影响,以及在五次卡车载荷循环下路面表面沉降的影响。数值结果表明,修复后的CMP的衬里厚度增加和(即从20增加到30和),垂直和水平直径的变化就会减少和。当水泥衬砌的非收缩抗压强度减小到一半时,垂直和水平直径变化增加了约.DOI:10.1061/JPSEA2.PSENG-1435.)2023美国土木工程师学会。

Mutations in Plasmodium knowlesi Kelch protein 13 and the dihydropteroate synthase gene in clinical samples

Objective:To determine the genetic diversity,natural selection and mutations in Plasmodium(P.)knowlesi drug resistant molecular markers Kelch 13 and dhps gene in clinical samples of Malaysia.Methods:P.knowlesi full-length gene sequences Kelch 13 gene(PkK13)from 40 samples and dhps gene from 30 samples originating from Malaysian Borneo were retrieved from public databases.Genetic diversity,natural selection,and phylogenetic analysis of gene sequences were analysed using DNAsp v5.10 and MEGA v5.2.Results:Seventy-two single nucleotide polymorphic sites(SNPs)across the full-length PkK13 gene(63 synonymous substitutions and 9 non-synonymous substitutions)with nucleotide diversity ofπ~0.005 was observed.Analysis of the full-length Pkdhps gene revealed 73 SNPs andπ~0.006(44 synonymous substitutions and 29 non-synonymous substitutions).A high number of haplotypes(PkK13;H=37 and Pkdhps;H=29)with haplotype diversity of Hd~0.99 were found in both genes,indicating population expansion.Nine mutant alleles were identified in PkK13 amino acid alignment of which,7(Asp3Glu,Lys50Gln,Lys53Glu,Ser123Thr,Ser127Pro,Ser149Thr and Ala169Thr)were within the Plasmodium specific domain,2(Val372Ile and Lys424Asn)were in the BTB/POZ domain and no mutation was observed within the kelch propeller domain.The 29 non-synonymous mutations in the Pkdhps gene were novel and only presented in exon 1 and 2.Conclusions:Monitoring the mutations from clinical samples collected from all states of Malaysia along with clinical efficacy studies will be necessary to determine the drug resistance in P.knowlesi.

In the period of Industries 4.0,cyber-physical systems(CPSs)were a major study area.Such systems frequently occur in manufacturing processes and people’s everyday lives,and they communicate intensely among physical elements and lead to inconsistency.Due to the magnitude and importance of the systems they support,the cyber quantum models must function effectively.In this paper,an image-processing-based anomalous mobility detecting approach is suggested that may be added to systems at any time.The expense of glitches,failures or destroyed products is decreased when anomalous activities are detected and unplanned scenarios are avoided.The presently offered techniques are not well suited to these operations,which necessitate information systems for issue treatment and classification at a degree of complexity that is distinct from technology.To overcome such challenges in industrial cyber-physical systems,the Image Processing aided Computer Vision Technology for Fault Detection System(IM-CVFD)is proposed in this research.The Uncertainty Management technique is introduced in addition to achieving optimum knowledge in terms of latency and effectiveness.A thorough simulation was performed in an appropriate processing facility.The study results suggest that the IM-CVFD has a high performance,low error frequency,low energy consumption,and low delay with a strategy that provides.In comparison to traditional approaches,the IM-CVFD produces a more efficient outcome.

BACKGROUND The impact of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)on acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)is debatable.T2DM was suspected to reduce the risk and complications of ARDS.However,during coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),T2DM predisposed patients to ARDS,especially those who were on insulin at home.AIMTo evaluate the impact of outpatient insulin use in T2DM patients on non-COVID-19 ARDS outcomes.METHODS We conducted a retrospective cohort analysis using the Nationwide Inpatient Sample database.Adult patients diagnosed with ARDS were stratified into insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus(DM)(IDDM)and non-insulindependent DM(NIDDM)groups.After applying exclusion criteria and matching over 20 variables,we compared cohorts for mortality,duration of mechanical ventilation,incidence of acute kidney injury(AKI),length of stay(LOS),hospitalization costs,and other clinical outcomes.RESULTS Following 1:1 propensity score matching,the analysis included 274 patients in each group.Notably,no statistically significant differences emerged between the IDDM and NIDDM groups in terms of mortality rates(32.8%vs 31.0%,P=0.520),median hospital LOS(10 d,P=0.537),requirement for mechanical ventilation,incidence rates of sepsis,pneumonia or AKI,median total hospitalization costs,or patient disposition upon discharge.CONCLUSION Compared to alternative anti-diabetic medications,outpatient insulin treatment does not appear to exert an independent influence on in-hospital morbidity or mortality in diabetic patients with non-COVID-19 ARDS.
