In this work, the near-eutectic Nb-24Ti-15Si-4Cr-2Al-2Hf（at%） alloy was directionally solidified at 1900 ℃ with withdrawal rates of 6, 18, 36, 50 mm·min^-1 and then heat-treated at 1450 ℃ for 12 h. The microstructure evolution was investigated. The results show that the microstructure of the directionally solidified（DS） alloy is composed of Nbss＋Nb5Si3 eutectics within the whole withdrawal rate range, while the variation of rates makes a great difference on the solidification routes,the morphology and size of Nb_（ss）＋Nb_5Si_3 eutectic *** the increase in withdrawal rates, the petaloid Nbss＋Nb5Si3 eutectic cells transform into granular morphology. After the heat treatment, a mesh structure Nbssis formed gradually which isolates the Nb5Si3, and the phase boundaries become smoother in order to reduce the interfacial energy. Moreover, two kinds of Nb5Si3 exist in the heat-treated（HT） samples identified by crystal form and element composition, which are supposed as α-Nb5Si3 and γ-Nb5Si3, respectively. This study exhibits significant merits in guiding the optimization of Nb-Si-based alloys＇ mechanical properties.

Composite solid electrolytes（CSEs） containing polymer matrices and inorganic fillers hold promise for the next generation of solid-state ***,the role of residual solvents in CSEs remains *** study investigated the evolution and function of the residual solvent in a polymer-Li2B12H12CSE.A partial reaction occurred between Li2B12H12and solvent N,N-dimethylformamide（DMF）,which produced dimethylaminomethanol（DMAM） in the *** functional theory calculations have revealed that DMA M forms stronger hydrogen bonds with polyvinylidene fluoride chains than DMF,which can have a plasticizing effect on the polymer matrix,leading to lower crystallinity and quicker segment ***,this CSE exhibited improved Li-ion conducting properties,enabling the stable cycling of Li‖LiFePO4solid-state *** study provided insights into the role of residual solvents in CSEs.

In this study,the truncated octahedral CeO_(2)(CeO_(2)-to)with special morphology was prepared by the solvothermal method with oleic acid(OA)and oleamine(OM)as the morphology-directing ***-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)results show that CeO_(2)-to exposes composite{100}and{111}facets,while CeO_(2)cubic(CeO_(2)-c)and CeO_(2)octahedral(CeO_(2)-o)only expose single crystal facets of{100}plane and{111}plane,***,this CeO_(2)-to photocatalyst exhibits remarkable photooxidation performance of gaseous acetaldehyde(CH_(3)CHO)degradation,in which CO_(2)generation value reaches 1.78 and 7.97-times greater than that of CeO_(2)-c and CeO_(2)-o,*** addition,the active species trapping experiment signifies that superoxide(·O_(2)^(-))and holes(h^(+))are the main reactive substances during the CH_(3)CHO degradation process,and the electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)spectra indicates that the former is the major ***,the electron transfer mechanism between CeO_(2)-to{100}and{111}facets and the surface oxygen adsorption ability are revealed via density functional theory(DFT)*** is also confirmed that{100}facets are more conducive to the absorption of acetaldehyde than{111}***,a reasonable mechanism for improved photocatalytic CH_(3)CHO degradation on CeO_(2)-to is proposed based on relevant experiments and DFT *** study demonstrates that the systematic development of surface homojunction structured photocatalysts can efficiently increase the degradation activity for volatile organic compounds(VOCs).It also offers additional direction for optimizing the photocatalytic activity of other ceriumbased photocatalysts.

As key biomarkers,amyloid-β(Aβ)plaques are frequently used to diagnose Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Although fluorescence imaging has proven to be effective in detecting these plaques,the gold standard probe thioflavin T(ThT),used for Aβaggregates,cannot be applied in vivo owing to its invasive ***,the development of novel fluorescent probes capable of identifying Aβplaques in situ is *** on the ThT structure,twoπ-conjugated heterocyclic D-π-A probes were designed bearing the hydroxytricyanopyrrole acceptor and N,N-dimethylaminophenyl *** probes exhibited red to near-infrared fluorescence emission(λ_(max)=732 nm),large Stokes shifts(>100 nm),exceptional signal-to-noise ratio,rapid response(<30 s),and high binding affinity(NT-HTCP=33.32 nmol/L;NF-HTCP=53.35 nmol/L)for Aβ*** the best candidate,NT-HTCP was used for in situ imaging of Aβplaques in AD mouse ***,in vivo research demonstrated that NT-HTCP could cross the blood-brain barrier and continue imaging the Aβplaques with a good signal-to-noise ***,the outcomes of the docking computations helped guide the development of the Aβ*** study expands the family of N,N-dimethylaminophenyl-based Aβ-sensitive fluorophores,with NTHTCP emerging as a highly promising imaging agent.

Nitrogen,one of the most crucial nutrients present in grapes and musts,plays a key role in yeast activities during alcoholic *** influences are imposed on yeast growth and fermentation performances including the formation of secondary *** cerevisiae,the main yeast responsible for fermentation,has been studied extensively regarding nitrogen *** the other hand,a similar study for non-Saccharomyces yeasts,whose contributions to winemaking have gradually been acknowledged,remains to be fully explored,with a few studies being *** review starts by discussing nitrogen impacts on non-Saccharomyces yeast growth and fermentation kinetics in different case scenarios,then proceeds to summarize the nitrogen preferences of individual yeast strains with regulation mechanisms elucidated by recent *** discussions on the influences on the production of volatile compounds and proposed pathways therein are made,followed by future work suggested as the final *** summarizing the nitrogen impacts on non-Saccharomyces yeasts throughout alcoholic fermentation,this review will be helpful in obtaining a more comprehensive view on these non-conventional wine yeasts in terms of nutrient requirements and corresponding volatile *** gaps will therefore be elucidated for future research.

Co_(3)O_(4) is considered as one of promising cathode catalysts for lithium oxygen(Li-O_(2))batteries,which contains both tetrahedral Co^(2+)sites(Co^(2+)Td)and octahedral Co^(3+)sites(Co^(3+)Oh).It is important to reveal the effect of optimal geometric configuration and oxidation state of cobalt ion in Co_(3)O_(4) to improve the performance of Li-O_(2) ***,through regulating the synthesis process,Co^(2+)and Co^(3+)sites in Co_(3)O_(4) were replaced with Zn and Al atoms to form materials with a unique Co *** Li-O_(2) batteries based on ZnCo_(2)O_(4) showed longer cycle life than that of CoAl_(2)O_(4),suggesting that in Co_(3)O_(4),the Co^(3+)Oh site is a relatively better geometric configuration than Co^(2+)Td site for Li-O_(2) *** calculations revealed that Co^(3+)Oh sites provide higher catalysis activity,regulating the adsorption energy of the intermediate LiO_(2) and accelerating the kinetics of the reaction in batteries,which further leads to the change of the morphology of the discharge product and ultimately improves the electrochemical performance of the batteries.

The incidence rate and harmfulness of depression are increasing yearly， and the research on the antidepressant effect of regulating the intestinal microecology balance has attracted widespread attention. The purpose of this research was to study the preventive effects and the regulatory mechanism of edible Lilium-egg yolk compound powder(Chinese abbreviation， BHT) on gut-brain crosstalk in depressive rats induced by chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS) through the "microbiota-gut-brain" axis. Results showed that infusion of BHT for 21 days ameliorated the morphology of the hippocampus and colon， increased the rate of sucrose preference， reduced the immobility time of forced swimming， increased the expression level of anti-inflammatory cytokine Interleukin-10 (IL-10) in serum， up-regulate the expression level of plasma neurotransmitter 5-hydroxy tryptamine (5-HT)， down-regulate the expression of inflammatory factors tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)， interleukin-6 (IL-6)， and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and neurotransmitter glutamic acid (Glu) in serum， and decrease the expression levels of lipopolysaccharide (LPS)， diamine oxidase (DAO) and lactate dehydrogenase (LD) in plasma. The underlying mechanism may be to reduce the activation of microglia (lower levels of CD11b， IBa1 protein and gene expression)， regulate hippocampal GR/BDNF/NPY signal pathway (higher levels of GR， BDNF， NPY protein and gene expression)， enhance intestinal mucosal barrier function (higher levels of ZO-1， Occludin protein and gene expression)， regulate the composition and structure of intestinal flora(Analysis results of LEfSe combined with random forest showed that Prevotella and Paraprevotella might be biomarkers of BHT intervention in depression)， and it is related to the improvement of glutathione metabolism， and other metabolic pathways. Constructing interfaces in heterostructures is effective for modulating the electronic properties of *** hollow CoMoO_(4)-Co_(3)O_(4) heterostructure(HCMCH)was prepared as a bifunctional electrocatalyst for Li-O_(2) *** different components in CoMoO_(4)-Co_(3)O_(4) heterostructure presented the efficient coupling and enhanced the electrocatalytic activity for aprotic oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER),in which it improved the obviously reduced overpotential of 300 mV(compared with the pure Ketjen black(KB)electrode),enhanced reversibility of 80%capacity retention after 6 full cycles and the superior cyclability of more than 200 cycles with an optimized *** battery performance of the HCMCH was not only associated with the unique hollow structure and rich active sites but also with coupling interface constructions synergetic effects attaching to the improving conductivity and optimized the discharge *** results suggested that this HCMCH electrocatalyst was a promising candidate for the Li-O_(2) battery and it gave a novel insight for high performance electrocatalyst designing.
