Climate change is one of the threats in the recent century,affecting biodiversity directly and *** the patterns of species distribution is one of useful tools for predicting the impacts of climate change on endangered *** bear(Ursus arctos)plays an important role as a focal species in mountainous *** study was aims to investigate the effects of future climate changes on the distribution of this species using an ensemble modeling method in *** this purpose five algorithms including MAXENT,RF,MARS,GAM,GLM and BRT were used to predict the distribution of the species in the present climatic conditions as well as in the 2050s and *** results showed that temperature and precipitation were two main factors in the distribution of brown bears in *** the distribution of the brown bear in the future showed that suitability of its habitat will decrease in the western and central parts and increase in the northern *** a shift toward higher altitude will be expected for brown bear in the ***,in this condition it is imperative to upgrade the extent of protected areas for better conservation of brown bear.

Nomograms for predicting pathological response to neoadjuvant treatments in patients with rectal cancer

BACKGROUND In recent decades, neoadjuvant therapy(NT) has been the standardized treatment for locally advanced rectal cancer(LARC). Approximately 8%-35% of patients with LARC who received NT were reported to have achieved a complete pathological response(pCR). If the pathological response(PR) can be accurately predicted, these patients may not need surgery. In addition, no response after NT implies that the tumor is destructive, resistant to both chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and prone to having a high metastatic potential. Therefore,developing accurate models to predict PR has great clinical significance and can help achieve individualized treatment in LARC *** To establish nomograms for predicting PR to different NT regimens based on pretreatment parameters for patients with *** Rectal cancer patients were identified from the database of The Sixth Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University from January 2012 to December 2016. Logistic regression and nomograms were developed to predict the probability of pCR and good downstaging to ypT0-2N0M0(ypTNM 0-I), respectively, based on pretreatment parameters for all LARC patients. Nomograms were also developed for three NT regimens(capecitabine/deGramont-RT, mFOLFOX6, and m FOLFOX6-RT) to predict pCR *** Four hundred and three patients were included in this study; 72(17.9%) had pCR at the final pathology report, and 177(43.9%) achieved good downstaging to ypT0-2N0M0(ypTNM 0-I). The nomogram for predicting pCR probability showed that NT regimens, tumor differentiation, mesorectal fascia(MRF) status,and tumor length significantly influenced pCR probability. When predicting the probability of good downstaging, tumor differentiation, MRF status, and clinical T stage were the significant factors. Nomograms were developed based on NT regimens. Clinical characteristics and survival outcomes of perianal Paget’s disease:A SEER population-based study

Objective The aim of the study was to analyze the clinical features of patients with perianal Paget’s disease(PPD)and investigate prognosis risk *** The SEER*Stat software was used to identify 116 PPD patients from 1975 to 2015 in the SEER research *** Kaplan-Meier method was used to conduct a univariate analysis for PPD *** differences in survival rates were evaluated using the log-rank *** differences in the clinicopathological features of PPD patients with or without anorectal carcinoma were compared using the chi-square *** The median survival time of PPD patients was 44 *** median age of onset was 73 years *** 43.10%of the patients were alive at the end of follow up,and only 12.93%of the patients died of ***(age>70 years;χ^2=9.453,P=0.002),poor differentiation(χ^2=46.557,P=0.000)and abdominal perineal resection(APR;χ^2=46.557,P=0.000)were unfavorable risk factors of *** 50%of PPD had combined with other malignancies,and over 22.41%of those had multiple primary neoplasms(3 or more).PPDs predisposed concurrent malignancy,and 48.21%of PPD patients with other malignancies combined with anorectal carcinoma in the ***(χ^2=10.127,P=0.018),and surgical method(χ^2=12.245,P=0.007)were statistically significant in the PPD patients with or without anorectal *** 16.07%of patients had multiple lesions of Paget’*** Patients with PPD have a favorable survival,while the disease-specific mortality is *** age,differentiation,and surgical methods were the influence factors of prognosis in PPD *** with anorectal carcinoma is of most important in further investigation.

目的盆腔增生性毛根鞘瘤(PTT)经常被误诊为其他疾病,导致多次手术,增加病人痛苦。在此,我们致力于探究PTT的临床病理表现和放射学特征以帮助诊断。方法本研究仅纳入2011年9月至2018年12月间诊断为PTT的患者,回顾了其病变的临床病理特点和磁共振资料。结果4位患者为良性PTT,4位患者为恶性PTT(MPTT)。病变通常潜伏数年,然后突然扩速发展。MPTT患者年龄偏小(P=0.12)。从MRI上看,良性PTT表现为实性囊肿,而MPTT表现为广泛的瘘道。纳入患者广泛局部切除术后,切缘阴性,且无局部复发或转移。从病理学来看,PTT表现为分叶状,无边缘浸润,可伴有毛鞘角化特点,而MPTT存在延伸到周围真皮的明显的非典型鳞状细胞,并伴有软骨基质反应。结论临床医生可根据肿块明显且突然的进行性生长特点考虑为PTT,并应根据病变形态判断病变是否恶变。广泛的局部切除可得到一个良好的效果。
