BACKGROUND Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic stimulates research works to find a solution to this crisis from starting 2020 year up to *** ending of the 2021-year,various advances in pharmacotherapy against COVID-19 have *** antiviral therapy,casirivimab and imdevimab antibody combination is a type of new immunotherapy against *** antiviral therapy against COVID-19 includes Remdesivir and *** To evaluate the efficacy of antibodies cocktail(casirivimab and imdevimab)compared to standard antiviral therapy in reducing the need for invasive mechanical ventilation(IMV).METHODS 265 COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction confirmed patients with indication for antiviral therapy were included in this study and were divided into 3 groups(1:2:2):Group A:REGN3048-3051 antibodies cocktail(casirivimab and imdevimab),group B:Remdesivir,group C:*** study design is a single-blind nonrandomized controlled trial Mansoura University Hospital owns the study’s *** duration of the study was about 6 mo after ethical *** Casirivimab and imdevimab achieve less need for O2 therapy and IMV,with less duration of this need than remdesivir and *** Group A(casirivimab and imdevimab)achieve better clinical outcomes than groups B(remdesivir)and C(favipiravir)intervention groups.

Neodymium was incorporated into the three-dimensional mesoporous siliceous material *** order to understand the chemical and morphological structure of the prepared material,several characterization techniques were *** characterization results show the formation of highly distributed isolated Nd3+ions incorporated in the silica matrix in tetrahedrally coordinated structure,moreover no aggregation of separate phase(s)was/were *** prepared material was investigated as an adsorbent for methyl green(MG)dye in aqueous solution as a model cationic *** results show higher adsorption capacity for Nd-TUD-1 by almost 24 times higher than the neat parent TUD-1 material and more than 100 times higher than bulky Nd_(2)O_(3)under neutral *** adsorption results were fitted perfectly with pseudo-second-order ***,the adsorption isotherms were perfectly fitted with Freundlich isotherm model which indicates the formation of a multilayer of the dye molecules onto the Nd-TUD-1 surface as a physisorption with endothermic nature.

Phase modification and dielectric properties of a cullet–paper ash–kaolin clay-based ceramic

Novel ceramics from waste material made of(x) paper ash–(80-x) cullet–20 kaolin clay(10 wt% ≤ x ≤ 30 wt%) were successfully synthesized using a conventional solid-state reaction technique. Energy-dispersive X-ray analysis confirmed the presence of Si, Ca, Al, and Fe in the waste material for preparing these ceramics. The influence of the cullet content on the phase structures and the dielectric properties of these ceramics were systematically investigated. The impedance spectra were verified in the range from 1 Hz to 10 MHz at room temperature. The phase of the ceramics was found to primarily consist of wollastonite(CaSiO_3), along with minor phases of γ-dicalcium silicate(Ca_2SiO_4) and quartz(SiO_2). The sample with a cullet content of 55 wt% possessed the optimum wollastonite structure and exhibited good dielectric properties. An increase of the cullet content beyond 55 wt% resulted in a structural change from wollastonite to dicalcium silicate, a decrease in dielectric constant, and an increase in dielectric loss. All experimental results suggested that these novel ceramics from waste are applicable for electronic devices.

Objective:To explore the anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects of methanolic leaf extract from Arbutus andrachne and its mechanism of ***:Paw edema was induced by intraplantar(***.)injection ofλ-carrageenan(1%w/v,100μL/paw)while pyrexia was evoked by intraperitoneal(i.p.)injection of 20% baker’s yeast(20 mL/kg body wt)in male Wistar *** anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects of Arbutus andrachne methanolic leaf extract were explored by injecting rats with different doses of the plant extract(150,300,and 600 mg/kg body wt,i.p.).Selective antagonists for transient receptor potential vanilloid-1(TRPV1),cannabinoid receptor 1(CB1),and alpha-2 adrenergic receptor(α2-AR)were used to unravel the extracts’mechanism of *** samples were collected from the heart of rats to measure the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6)and prostaglandin E2(PGE2)by enzyme-linked immunosorbent ***:The extract exhibited potent anti-inflammatory activity by decreasing paw thickness and IL-6 *** addition,yeast-evoked pyrexia was attenuated by the extract treatment via TRPV1 and CB1 receptors and a reduction in PGE2 *** significant effects were found for α***,the rats that received the plant extract demonstrated similar responses to the positive control ***:Arbutus andrachne can be a good candidate for treating inflammation and pyrexia and should be further investigated.

NdZrO–ZrOnanocomposites were prepared via a facile process with propylene glycol as novel connecting agent and benzene tricarboxylic acid as a new complexing agent. The as-obtained NdZrO–ZrOnanocomposites were characterized by transmission electron microscopy（TEM）, UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis（EDX）, Fourier transform infrared（FT-IR）spectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy（FESEM）, and X-ray diffraction（XRD）. According to the morphological studies of the as-synthesized nanocomposites, it was found that the shape and particle size of NdZrO–ZrOnanocomposites depended on the space-filling template type, dosage of space-filling template and tricarboxylic acid as complexing agent. NdZrO–ZrOnanocomposites with different shapes and grain sizes have been synthesized. The photocatalytic behavior of as-produced NdZrO–ZrOnanocomposites was also investigated through photodegradation of methylene blue dye and 2-naphthol as water pollutants.

Nowadays,due to the increase in information resources,the number of parameters and complexity of feature vectors *** offermore practical solutions instead of exact solutions for the solution of this *** Emperor PenguinOptimizer(EPO)is one of the highest performing meta-heuristic algorithms of recent times that imposed the gathering behavior of emperor *** shows the superiority of its performance over a wide range of optimization problems thanks to its equal chance to each penguin and its fast convergence *** traditional EPO overcomes the optimization problems in continuous search space,many problems today shift to the binary search ***,in this study,using the power of traditional EPO,binary EPO(BEPO)is presented for the effective solution of binary-nature *** algorithm uses binary search space instead of searching solutions like conventional EPO algorithm in continuous search *** this purpose,the sigmoidal functions are preferred in determining the emperor *** addition,the boundaries of the search space remain constant by choosing binary ***’s performance is evaluated over twenty-nine benchmarking *** evaluations are made to reveal the superiority of the BEPO *** addition,the performance of the BEPO algorithm was evaluated for the binary feature selection *** experimental results reveal that the BEPO algorithm outperforms the existing binary meta-heuristic algorithms in both tasks.

Objective:To compare the protein profile of culture supernatants in stimulated and unstimulated human fibroblasts to find some proteins indicating the presence of fibroblasts and their activation ***:Dermal fibroblasts were stimulated with phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate(PMA)/ionomycine for 72 *** assay was done to determine cell viability and A/E fluorescent staining was used to evaluate the cell death *** analysis was performed by gradient SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis 8%–16%.Results:The supernatant of 24 h cultured both stimulated and unstimulated fibroblasts showed two bands in SDS-PAGE analysis with relative molecular weights of 8.59 and78.8 k *** bands density was decreased during the next 48 h in unstimulated cells while their expression was continued in PMA or PMA/ionomycine stimulated cells and a new 85.3 k Da band was appeared in unstimulated and 72 h PMA stimulated ***,we found another seven small size(10–19.5 k Da) proteins in supernatants of48 h and 72 h unstimulated but not in PMA or PMA/Ionomycine stimulated *** of these proteins expression were down regulated following fibroblast *** down-regulation is consistent with our finding that PMA or PMA/ionomycine stimulated cells exhibited a significant level of apoptosis cell ***:Human fibroblasts produce some small to intermediate sized proteins with specific SDS-PAGE profile upon cell *** of these proteins can be excreted in urine and can be immunogen theoretically so this data provided a reliable clue for fibrosis biomarker screening based on designation of an appropriated immunoassay.
