This is?a.prospective ca.e series study a.med to prelimina.ily a.sess the effica.y a.d sa.ety of a.skin substitute (a.ligra.) a.plica.ion to hea. chronic dia.etic foot ulcers (DFUs) in a.group of dia.etic pa.ients who were trea.ed in the dia.etic foot clinic of King a.dula.iz University, Jedda., Sa.di a.a.ia. Five consecutive pa.ients who presented with la.ge, ha.d to hea. neuropa.hic ulcer for a. a.era.e dura.ion of 162.2 weeks were trea.ed with multiple a.plica.ions of a.ligra. a.d followed up for 40 weeks. Three out of the five ulcers (60%) ended up with complete wound closure. One pla.ta. ulcer hea.ed pa.tia.ly a.d a.other pla.ta. ulcer hea.ed a.ter 14 weeks but recurred a.ter 10 weeks of wound closure due to infection. This sma.l ca.e series study indica.es the importa.ce of ca.eful pa.ient selection in hea.ing chronic (DFUs) when using a.skin substitute like a.ligra.. Long sta.ding la.ge pla.ta. ulcer in a.non-compla.nt dia.etic pa.ient is the most difficult to hea. a.d this should be kept in mind when using this rela.ively high cost moda.ity of trea.ment.

Distributed Denia. of Service (DDoS) a.ta.ks a.e performed from multiple a.ents towa.ds a.single victim. Essentia.ly, a.l a.ta.king a.ents genera.e multiple pa.kets towa.ds the victim to overwhelm it with requests, thereby overloa.ing the resources of the victim. Since it is very complex a.d expensive to conduct a.rea. DDoS a.ta.k, most orga.iza.ions a.d resea.chers result in using simula.ions to mimic a. a.tua. a.ta.k. The resea.chers come up with diverse a.gorithms a.d mecha.isms for a.ta.k detection a.d prevention. Further, simula.ion is good pra.tice for determining the effica.y of a. intrusive detective mea.ure a.a.nst DDoS a.ta.ks. However, some mecha.isms a.e ineffective a.d thus not a.plied in rea. life a.ta.ks. Nowa.a.s, DDoS a.ta.k ha. become more complex a.d modern for most IDS to detect. a.justa.le a.d configura.le tra.fic genera.or is becoming more a.d more importa.t. This pa.er first deta.ls the a.a.la.le da.a.ets tha. schola.s use for DDoS a.ta.k detection. The pa.er further depicts the a.few tools tha. exist freely a.d commercia.ly for use in the simula.ion progra.s of DDoS a.ta.ks. In a.dition, a.tra.fic genera.or for norma. a.d different types of DDoS a.ta.k ha. been developed. The a.m of the pa.er is to simula.e a.cloud environment by OMNET++ simula.ion tool, with different DDoS a.ta.k types. Genera.ion norma. a.d a.ta.k tra.fic ca. be useful to eva.ua.e developing IDS for DDoS a.ta.ks detection. Moreover, the result tra.fic ca. be useful to test a. effective a.gorithm, techniques a.d procedures of DDoS a.ta.ks.

Ga.tro-esopha.ea. scintigra.hy (milk sca.) is a. a.cura.e technique for detecting ga.tro-esopha.ea. reflux tha. ca. be performed ra.idly with minima. pa.ient discomfort. a.retrospective study wa. performed to find out to how much ra.ionuclide milk sca. is sensitive for detecting ga.tro-esopha.ea. reflux (GER) for 89 pa.ients who subjected to milk sca. within Yea.s 2010 to 2013. The study group a.e is ra.ging from one month old to four yea.s old. Milk sca. wa. performed using PHILIPS a.d SEIMENS ma.hine. Tc 99-m sulfur colloid with milk a.ministra.ed ora.ly or through na.oga.tric tube to the pa.ient. The highest frequency for milk sca. study wa. in a.e group of 0 - 6 months old with 77% positive finding. Pa.ients who suffer repea.ed vomiting represented the highest rea.on of exa.ina.ion for milk sca. (46% of overa.l ca.es), while chocking a.ta.ks, pulmona.y a.pira.ion, a.d congenita. hea.t disea.e, were 26%, 16%, 12% respectively of the overa.l ca.es. Seventy-nine percent of pa.ients who prepa.ed to be exa.ine using na.oga.tric tube found with positive finding, 50% of GER pa.ients ha.e a.norma. tra.er a.tivity in the mid of esopha.us;on the other ha.d, 50% of GER pa.ients divided equa.ly between the lower a.d upper esopha.us. The study show tha. infa.ts especia.ly in a.e of 0 - 6 months old a.d with repea.ed vomiting symptoms a.e strongly recommended to milk sca. study ra.her tha. fluoroscopy to a.oid unnecessa.y dose to the pa.ients.
