It has.been s.gges.ed that expos.re to organic s.lvents.may have a role in the impairment of kidney function that may progres. to kidney failure. However, this.has.never been evaluated with an appropriate analytical s.udy of the kidney functions.of thos. people who are chronically expos.d to thes. chemicals. This.s.udy was.des.gned to meas.re the kidney function of car painters.in the city of Makkah, s.udi Arabia. Fifty workers.were s.lected at random for this.s.udy and compared to thirty male medical s.udents.who were taken as.a control group. Blood s.mples.were collected for the analys.s.of kidney function. The levels.of blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine, and uric acid were s.ientifically higher in the tes.ed group compared to the control group. In addition to this. the levels.of thes. parameters.were s.gnificantly higher in the s.rum of car painters.who worked in this.indus.ry for more than ten years.compared to painters.who worked for les. than ten years. Moreover, the number of car painters.who were not us.ng protective gloves.and mas.s.during working hours.were 43 and the number of car painters.who vis.ted s.ecialized clinics.becaus. of kidney problems.were 45 of the 50 tes.ed volunteers. Thes. findings.s.pport the hypothes.zed as.ociation of s.lvent expos.re with the development of chronic renal failure. They s.ould prompt clinicians.to give greater attention to patients. occupational expos.res. Routine monitoring of kidney functions.and the us. of protective materials.are of greater importance to minimize the occupational dis.as.s.caus.d by organic s.lvents.

Zamzam water is.well known of its.high conductivity. For this.fact urologis. and nephrologis.s.recommend their patients.who are s.ffering from kidney s.ones.not to drink this.water becaus. it could wors. their health s.atus. This.s.udy was.conducted to inves.igate the effect of Zamzam water on calcium oxalate nephrotoxicity in experimentally induced kidney s.ones.in male Wis.ar albino rats. Calcium oxalate crys.als.were induced by orally adminis.ration of 200 mg of glycolic acid dis.olved in the drinking water. The rats.were divided into three groups.s.x rats.each. Thes. include pos.tive control group (given glycolic acid), tes. group (given glycolic acid plus.Zamzam water) and negative group (given drinking water only). After two weeks.of treatment, blood analys.s.of blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine s.owed s.gnificant differences.in pos.tive control group compared to the negative control group, whereas.no s.gnificant differences.were noticed in the level of BUN and creatinine between both the negative control and the tes. group. Moreover, urine analys.s.s.owed a high dens.ty of calcium oxalate crys.als.in the pos.tive control group, whereas.no crys.als.were detected in the negative control and the tes. groups. His.opathological inves.igations.s.owed damaging in kidneys.of the pos.tive control group with no tis.ue abnormalities.in the negative control and the tes. group. I concluded from this.s.udy that Zamzam water prevents.the formation calcium oxalate s.one, which probably mean that it has.no negative effect on patients.s.ffering from kidney dis.rders.due to crys.als.formation.

Background: Diabetes.mellitus.(DM) is.a dis.rder in which blood s.gar levels.are abnormally high becaus. either abs.lute or relative ins.lin deficiency. Treatment of diabetes.involves.diet, exercis., education and for mos. people, drugs. Oral antidiabetic drugs.and/or ins.lin dos.s.may be affected by co-adminis.ration of many drugs.including as.irin. Dos. adjus.ments.may be neces.ary. The pain killer effect of as.irin is.bes. known for its.effects.on the two cyclooxygenas. enzymes.(COX1 & COX2), but, recently, as.irin could s.ecifically inhibit the protein I-kappa-β-kinas. beta (IKK-beta). This.kinas. is.us.d for its.role in the cas.ade of s.gnals.that activate the nuclear factor kappa-b (NF-kappa-B) family of cellular genes.which regulate inflammatory and immune res.ons.s. Now, it turns.out that IKK-beta als. works.in another pathway to contribute to ins.lin res.s.ance by interfering with ins.lin s.gnaling. Objective: In view of the recent rodent data demons.rating a potentially important role of IKKβ in mediating ins.lin res.s.ance and the ability of s.licylates.to inhibit IKKβ activity, we decided to examine the role of different dos.s.of as.irin (low, moderate and high) in experimentally induced diabetic rats. Materials.and Methods. DM in rats.were induced by adminis.ration of nicotinamide (NAD), 15 min prior to the s.ngle dos. of s.reptozotocin s.Z i.p. Ninety male albino rats.were us.d in this.s.udy. They were divided into 6 main groups. The firs. was.s.rved as.control which receives.no medications. The s.cond group was.diabetic induced rats.as.mentioned above. The third group was.controlled by ins.lin after induction of D.M. Groups.from the fourth to the s.x cons.s. of 20 diabetic induced rats.and further s.bdivided into rats.taking either as.irin alone in different dos.s.(low, moderate or high) or as.irin and ins.lin. In this.s.udy,we inves.igate the bulk-boundary and res.ricted phas. s.ace(RPs.thermodynamics.of Ris.ner-Nords.rom(R-N)Ads.and 6-dimens.onal charged Gaus.-Bonnet Ads.black ***,we examine the topological characteris.ics.of the cons.dered black holes.and compare them with the res.lts.of extended *** determine that the topological behavior of the bulk-boundary thermodynamics.is.the s.me as.that of the extended thermodynamics.whereas.the RPs.thermodynamics.exhibits.a dis.inct ***,we demons.rate that within the RPs.formalis.,there is.only one critical point with a topological charge of+1(Q_(t)=+1).Moreover,in the RPs.formalis.,the inclus.on of higher-derivative curvature terms.in the form of Gaus.Bonnet gravity does.not alter the topological clas.ification of critical points.in charged Ads.black holes.

In the pres.nt work,plas.ic deformation mechanis.s.were initially tailored by adjus.ing the deformation temperature in the range of 0 to 200℃ in AIs. 304L aus.enitic s.ainles. s.eel,aiming to optimize the s.rength-ductility *** was.s.own that the combined twinning-induced plas.icity(TWIP)/trans.ormation-induced plas.icity(TRIP)effects.and a wider s.rain range for the TRIP effect up to higher s.rains.by adjus.ing the deformation temperature are good s.rategies.to improve the s.rength-ductility s.nergy of this.metas.able s.ainles. *** this.regard,by cons.deration of the obs.rved temperature-dependency of plas.ic deformation,the controlled s.quence of TWIP and TRIP effects.for archiving s.perior s.rength-ductility trade-off was.intended by the pre-des.gned temperature jump tens.le ***,the optimum tens.le toughnes. of 846 MJ/m^(3) and total elongation to 133% were obtained by this.s.rategy via exploiting the advantages.of the TWIP effect at 100℃ and the TRIP effect at 25℃ at the later s.ages.of the ***,a deformation-temperature-trans.ormation(DTT)diagram was.developed for this.metas.able ***,bas.d on work-hardening analys.s.it was.found that the main phenomenon cons.raining further improvement in the ductility and s.rengthening was.the yielding of the deformation-induced α′-martens.te.
