Obesity is a critical health condition that severely affects an individual’s quality of life *** occurrence of obesity is strongly associated with extreme health conditions,such as cardiac diseases,diabetes,hypertension,and some types of ***,it is vital to avoid obesity and or reverse its *** healthy food habits and an active lifestyle can help to prevent *** this regard,artificial intelligence(AI)can play an important role in estimating health conditions and detecting obesity and its *** study aims to see obesity levels in adults by implementing AIenabled machine learning on a real-life *** dataset is in the form of electronic health records(EHR)containing data on several aspects of daily living,such as dietary habits,physical conditions,and lifestyle variables for various participants with different health conditions(underweight,normal,overweight,and obesity type I,II and III),expressed in terms of a variety of features or parameters,such as physical condition,food intake,lifestyle and mode of *** classifiers,i.e.,eXtreme gradient boosting classifier(XGB),support vector machine(SVM),and artificial neural network(ANN),are implemented to detect the status of several conditions,including obesity *** findings indicate that the proposed XGB-based system outperforms the existing obesity level estimation methods,achieving overall performance rates of 98.5%and 99.6%in the scenarios explored.

Background: Breast diseases cover several conditions. The majority of breast diseases are noncancerous. Some of these lesions are clinically unremarkable, which needed minimal intervention. However, some symptoms may be of clinical value and attract the attention of both the patient and the attending physician, especially when they become persistent. The study aimed to assess the prevalence, pattern, types, and clinical profile of breast diseases among females in the South-western region, during the period from 2018-2020. Methods: A retrospective record-based descriptive approach was used through reviewing medical records of all cases with breast disease attended King Khalid Hospital during the period from January 2018 to January 2020. Data extracted throng pre-structured questionnaire. Results: The study included 211 cases whose ages ranged from 18 to 58 years old with a mean age of 28.9 ± 12.8 years. Breast mass was the most recorded complaint (95.1%) followed with breast pain (32%), skin changes. Benign findings based on the final pathology report were recorded for more than two thirds of the cases, with the most common finding were fibroadenoma. Excisional biopsy and modified radical mastectomy were the most reported surgical interventions. Conclusions: In conclusion, the study revealed that the majority of the cases had benign breast disease (BBD), where fibroadenoma was the most frequent.

Traffic accidents constitute the substantial cause of disability and mortality in the young Saudi individuals reaching horrible figures. The aim of this study was to review and identify the pattern of injury among road traffic accident (RTA) victims as well as the peak time of accidents and their implications. This retrospective hospital-based cross-sectional study was carried out in the period between April 2016 to March 2017 in King Khalid Hospital, Maternity and Children Hospital and Najran General Hospital, Najran, Saudi Arabia. All RTA victims admitted to the emergency departments of the pre-mentioned hospitals. Data collected from 435 Saudis and non-Saudis’ files were statistically analyzed with regard to age, gender, the timing of road traffic accidents, injury pattern, and neurological deficits incidence. Most of the RTAs’ cases (92%) were male victims with the highest peak in the age group 20 - 29 years. 58% of the RTAs happened in the evening (6:00 PM-9:00 PM) while 20% occurred in the morning. Head injury represented the most frequent pattern (36%) followed by the spinal injury (23%), lower limb injury (23%), upper limb injury (20%), thoracic injury (17%), pelvic injury and abdominal injury (8%). 4.4% of RTAs resulted in death whilst 9% of cases experienced neurological deficits. In conclusion, young male drivers in Najran recorded the highest frequency of RTAs. Initiation of road safety education and expansion of speed detectors (Saher) system deployment is highly recommended.

Noncommutativity and its role in constant-roll inflation models with non-minimal coupling constrained by swampland conjectures

In this paper, using Hamiltonian formalism, we obtain solutions for constant-roll inflation according to the noncommutativity and the non-minimal coupling field of the Lagrangian. We consider three different types of couplings: power-law, exponential, and logarithmic. Subsequently, by plotting some figures, we study the effects of these coupling in constant-roll inflation with noncommutative parameters. We identify and specify the permissible regions of each case of the swampland conjecture and determine the best model. We find that the exponential, logarithmic, and power-law couplings with θ>0 ar results in both cases, some of which are compatible and some incompatible with the dS swampland ***,θ>0 is more compatible than θ<0, and the consistency value in the second boundary condition is much higher than in the first. The order of better compatibility of couplings with the swampland conjecture is ranked as follows: exponential non-minimal coupling, logarithmic non-minimal coupling, and power-law non-minimal coupling. For each type of coupling, we calculate the values of the scalar spectral index n s and the tensor-to-scalar ratio r for two different potentials and compare them with the observational data from Planck 2018. We also determine the range of the free parameters(a, b, q)model consistent with the conjecture. We find that the model satisfies the FRDSSC for all types of couplings and both potentials, with some constraints on the parameters.

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) poses a significant healthcare challenge in Saudi Arabia, necessitating a structured approach to management and treatment. Recent consensus guidelines in Saudi Arabia emphasize a comprehensive strategy for CKD management, tailored to local needs and healthcare resources. The guidelines advocate for early detection and stratified care to mitigate the progression of CKD and improve patient outcomes. Key recommendations include the routine assessment of albuminuria and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) for accurate diagnosis and staging of CKD. The consensus underscores the importance of utilizing updated tools like the CKD-EPI 2021 equation for eGFR calculation and incorporating cystatin C measurements for enhanced diagnostic accuracy. Management strategies focus on controlling underlying conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, which are prevalent risk factors in the Saudi population. Personalized treatment plans are recommended, incorporating lifestyle modifications, pharmacological interventions including SGLT-2 inhibitors and GLP 1 RA, and regular monitoring to manage CKD complications effectively. The guidelines also highlight the need for specialized care and referral pathways for advanced CKD stages, including the role of nephrologists in the comprehensive management of CKD patients. In addition, the consensus addresses the need for improving public awareness and education about CKD, emphasizing early screening and preventive measures, particularly in high-risk groups. The implementation of these guidelines aims to optimize CKD management across Saudi Arabia, reduce the burden of kidney disease, and enhance overall patient care in the region.

A New Insight into Energy Distribution of Electrons in Fuel-Rod Gap in VVER-1000 Nuclear Reactor

In order to calculate the electron energy distribution in the fuel rod gap of a VVER- 1000 nuclear reactor, the Fokker-Planck equation （FPE） governing the non-equilibrium behavior of electrons passing through the fuel-rod gap as an absorber has been solved in this paper. Besides, the Monte Carlo Geant4 code was employed to simulate the electron migration in the fuel-rod gap and the energy distribution of electrons was found. As for the results, the accuracy of the FPE was compared to the Geant4 code outcomes and a satisfactory agreement was found. Also, different percentage of the volatile and noble gas fission fragments produced in fission reactions in fuel rod, i.e. Krypton, Xenon, Iodine, Bromine, Rubidium and Cesium were employed so as to investigate their effects on the electrons＇ energy distribution. The present results show that most of the electrons in the fuel rod＇s gap were within the thermal energy limitation and the tail of the electron energy distribution was far from a Maxwellian distribution. The interesting outcome was that the electron energy distribution is slightly increased due to the accumulation of fission fragments in the gap. It should be noted that solving the FPE for the energy straggling electrons that are penetrating into the fuel-rod gap in the VVER-1000 nuclear reactor has been carried out for the first time using an analytical approach.
