The smart city comprises various interlinked elements which communicate data and offers urban life to *** Aerial Vehicles(UAV)or drones were commonly employed in different application areas like agriculture,logistics,and *** improving the drone flying safety and quality of services,a significant solution is for designing the Internet of Drones(IoD)where the drones are utilized to gather data and people communicate to the drones of a specific flying region using the mobile devices is for constructing the Internet-of-Drones,where the drones were utilized for collecting the data,and communicate with *** addition,the SIRSS-CIoD technique derives a tuna swarm algorithm-based clustering(TSA-C)technique to choose cluster heads(CHs)and organize clusters in IoV ***,the SIRSS-CIoD technique involves the design of a biogeography-based optimization(BBO)technique to an optimum route selection(RS)*** design of clustering and routing techniques for IoD networks in smart cities shows the novelty of the study.A wide range of experimental analyses is carried out and the comparative study highlighted the improved performance of the SIRSS-CIoD technique over the other approaches.

In the contemporary era,the global expansion of electrical grids is propelled by various renewable energy sources(RESs).Efficient integration of stochastic RESs and optimal power flow(OPF)management are critical for network *** study introduces an innovative solution,the Gaussian Bare-Bones Levy Cheetah Optimizer(GBBLCO),addressing OPF challenges in power generation systems with stochastic *** primary objective is to minimize the total operating costs of RESs,considering four functions:overall operating costs,voltage deviation management,emissions reduction,voltage stability index(VSI)and power loss ***,a carbon tax is included in the objective function to reduce carbon *** scrutiny,using modified IEEE 30-bus and IEEE 118-bus systems,validates GBBLCO’s superior performance in achieving optimal *** results demonstrate GBBLCO’s efficacy in six optimization scenarios:total cost with valve point effects,total cost with emission and carbon tax,total cost with prohibited operating zones,active power loss optimization,voltage deviation optimization and enhancing voltage stability index(VSI).GBBLCO outperforms conventional techniques in each scenario,showcasing rapid convergence and superior solution ***,GBBLCO navigates complexities introduced by valve point effects,adapts to environmental constraints,optimizes costs while considering prohibited operating zones,minimizes active power losses,and optimizes voltage deviation by enhancing the voltage stability index(VSI)*** research significantly contributes to advancing OPF,emphasizing GBBLCO’s improved global search capabilities and ability to address challenges related to local *** emerges as a versatile and robust optimization tool for diverse challenges in power systems,offering a promising solution for the evolving needs of renewable energy-integrated power grids.

The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered a global humanitarian disaster that has never been seen *** experts,on the other hand,are undecided on the most valuable treatments of therapy because people ill with this infection exhibit a wide range of illness indications at different phases of ***,this project aims to undertake an experimental investigation to determine which treatments for COVID-19 disease is the most effective and *** research analysis is based on vast data gathered from professionals and research journals,making this study a comprehensive *** solve this challenging task,the researchers used the HF AHPTOPSIS Methodology,which is a well-known and highly effective MultiCriteria Decision Making(MCDM)*** technique assesses the many treatment options identified through various research papers and guidelines proposed by various countries,based on the recommendations of medical practitioners and *** review process begins with a ranking of different treatments based on their effectiveness using the HF-AHP approach and then evaluates the results in five different hospitals chosen by the authors as *** also perform robustness analysis to validate the conclusions of our *** a result,we obtained highly corroborative results that can be used as a *** results suggest that convalescent plasma has the greatest rank and priority in terms of effectiveness and demand,implying that convalescent plasma is the most effective treatment for SARS-CoV-2 in our *** also has the lowest priority in the estimation.

An Epidemiological Study on Influenza A(H1N1) in Makkah

The flu pandemic is a global outbreak of a new strain of influenza A virus subtype H1N1, termed Pandemic H1N1/09 virus by the World Health Organization (WHO), which was first identified in April 2009. The disease has also been termed novel Influenza A(H1N1) and 2009 H1N1 flu by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and is commonly known as swine flu. The main strain of the virus has been termed A/California/07/2009 (H1N1) by scientists. This study was conducted to describe the epidemiology of influenza A(H1N1) infections in KSA during 2009. A descriptive study was carried out among attendants at hospitals and primary health care centers in Makkah during 2009, irrespective of age and sex. The data were collected by interviewing suspected persons using a pre-designed questionnaire, clinical examination, and specific laboratory investigation. A total of 1138 subjects were included in the study. Among the study population, 25% of the cases between 15 and 24 years old were found positive for influenza A(H1N1) by PCR technique. Although a significant population was affected by influenza A(H1N1) during 2009 in Makkah, the efforts and steps taken by health authorities at all levels―especially those in Directorate of Health Affairs of Makkah—helped to avert the mortality associated with the H1N1 influenza among the residents and those coming for Umrah and Hajj to Makkah by providing and timely diagnosis.
