With the rapid advancement of visual generative models such as Generative Adversarial Networks(GANs)and stable Diffusion,the creation of highly realistic Deepfake through automated forgery has significantly *** paper examines the advancements inDeepfake detection and defense technologies,emphasizing the shift from passive detection methods to proactive digital watermarking *** detection methods,which involve extracting features from images or videos to identify forgeries,encounter challenges such as poor performance against unknown manipulation techniques and susceptibility to counter-forensic *** contrast,proactive digital watermarking techniques embed specificmarkers into images or videos,facilitating real-time detection and traceability,thereby providing a preemptive defense againstDeepfake *** offer a comprehensive analysis of digitalwatermarking-based forensic techniques,discussing their advantages over passivemethods and highlighting four key benefits:real-time detection,embedded defense,resistance to tampering,and provision of legal ***,the paper identifies gaps in the literature concerning proactive forensic techniques and suggests future research directions,including cross-domain watermarking and adaptive watermarking *** systematically classifying and comparing existing techniques,this review aims to contribute valuable insights for the development of more effective proactive defense strategies in Deepfake forensics.

Complement-dependent neuroinflammation in spinal cord injury:from pathology to therapeutic implications

Spinal cord injury remains a major cause of disability in young adults,and beyond acute decompression and rehabilitation,there are no pharmacological treatments to limit the progression of injury and optimize recovery in this *** the thorough investigation of the complement system in triggering and propagating cerebral neuroinflammation,a similar role for complement in spinal neuroinflammation is a focus of ongoing *** this work,we survey the current literature investigating the role of complement in spinal cord injury including the sources of complement proteins,triggers of complement activation,and role of effector functions in the *** study relevant data demonstrating the different triggers of complement activation after spinal cord injury including direct binding to cellular debris,and or activation via antibody binding to damage-associated molecular *** effector functions of complement have been implicated in spinal cord injury,and we critically evaluate recent studies on the dual role of complement anaphylatoxins in spinal cord injury while emphasizing the lack of pathophysiological understanding of the role of opsonins in spinal cord *** this pathophysiological review,we systematically review the different translational approaches used in preclinical models of spinal cord injury and discuss the challenges for future translation into human *** review emphasizes the need for future studies to dissect the roles of different complement pathways in the pathology of spinal cord injury,to evaluate the phases of involvement of opsonins and anaphylatoxins,and to study the role of complement in white matter degeneration and regeneration using translational strategies to supplement genetic models.

Quantum density functional theory studies of structural,elastic, and opto-electronic properties of ZmoO3 （Z=Ba and Sr） under pressure

In continuation of our recent report on molybdates [Appl. Phys. A 124, 44(2018)], the structural, electronic, elastic,and optical properties of ZmoO3(Z = Ba and Sr) molybdates are investigated under pressure(10 GPa–50 GPa) comprehensively by deploying the density functional theory. Our investigations show that the studied compounds exhibit stable cubic phase with metallic attributes. The thermodynamic parameters such as enthalpy of formation, Debye, and melting temperatures of the compounds are observed to increase with pressure. While the Gr¨uninsen parameter and the coefficient of super-plastic deformation decrease as the pressure increases. mechanical properties elucidate an increase in measured values of hardness, bulk, shear, and young’s moduli with pressure. Our results suggest that the studied compounds are useful in high pressure optoelectronic devices. The optical properties of BamoO3(BmO) and SrmoO3(SmO) are computed for the radiation of up to 35 eV. The present compounds show beneficial optical applications in the anti-reflection coating,lenses, and the high avoiding solar heating applications in the variant applied pressure.

Geotectonic significance of the Neoproterozoic ophiolitic metagabbros of muiswirab area,South Eastern Desert,Egypt:constraints from their mineralogical and geochemical characteristics

Petrological and geochemical studies of Neo-proterozoic metagabbros were carried out in the muiswirab area,South Eastern Desert of *** muiswirab area comprises of ophiolitic metagabbroic rocks(mOm),which are tectonically thrusted over a thick pile of metavolcanic rocks and intruded by syn-and post-tectonic granitoid *** whole-rock geochemical variations coupled with chemical compositions of mineral constituents are used to attain the genesis and tectonic evolution of the studied *** geothermobarometric investiga-tion of the analyzed amphiboles from(mOm)revealed that these metagabbros underwent regional metamorphism under lower to upper greenschist facies(biotite zone)conditions(at a temperature of 450 to 500℃and pressure of 1-3 kbar).Geochemically,the metagabbros(mOm)show tholeiitic affinity and cxhibiting both arc-and mORB-like characters as evidenced by their clinopyrox-ene compositions and the Ti/V ratios(11.84-31.65),which considered as prominent features of forearc tectonic *** geochemical features suggest a probable fractionation of olivine±clinopyroxene±plagioclase as well as insignificant crustal *** parental magma of the investigated mOm rocks seems to be developed in a sub-arc mantle wedge setting due to the enrichments of LILE(e.g..Rb,Ba,Sr,Pb)over HFSE(e.g,Ti,Nb,Y,Zr,Hf,Ta).The studied mOm rocks have lower values of Nb/U relative to mORB and OIB indicating that their geochemical variation produced due to the enrichment of a lithosphere mantle by OIB like *** ratios of Zn/Fet,La/Sm,Sm/Yb,Th/Yb and Nb/Yb indicate that the mOm rocks represent a fragment of oceanic crust originated at a supra-subduction zone environment and their parental magma developed by 5-30%partial melting of a spinel lherzolite mantle rather than pyroxenite in an island arc setting and conformable with most of the Egyptian ophiolitic metagabbros.

Statistical Analysis of a Class of Secure Relay Assisted Cognitive Radio Networks

In this paper, the problem of communication security in an underlay wiretap cognitive radio network is addressed and statistically investigated. We rely on a simple dual-hop communication model of decode and forward relay assisted network. Regarding the interference from primary users, interference power and maximum transmit power constraints; this network is subjected to multiple eavesdropping attacks which employ a specific interception strategy. To confound this eavesdropping, proposed selection schemes are exploited that aim at maximizing the minimum of the dual secrecy rates in order to strengthen the physical layer security. moreover, exact and asymptotic closed form expressions are derived for specific performance metrics over independent and identically distributed Rayleigh fading channels. At high signal to interference noise ratio(SINR), tangential system bounds are also derived and discussed. monte Carlo simulation results emphasize our assumption. It is found out that at the full diversity of the system, any additional node that enters the cooperative eavesdropping system becomes significantly of no effect.

An Adaptive Hate Speech Detection Approach Using Neutrosophic Neural Networks for Social media Forensics

Detecting hate speech automatically in social media forensics has emerged as a highly challenging task due tothe complex nature of language used in such platforms. Currently, several methods exist for classifying hatespeech, but they still suffer from ambiguity when differentiating between hateful and offensive content and theyalso lack accuracy. The work suggested in this paper uses a combination of the Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to adjust the weights of two multi-Layer Perceptron (mLPs)for neutrosophic sets classification. During the training process of the mLP, the WOA is employed to exploreand determine the optimal set of weights. The PSO algorithm adjusts the weights to optimize the performanceof the mLP as fine-tuning. Additionally, in this approach, two separate mLP models are employed. One mLPis dedicated to predicting degrees of truth membership, while the other mLP focuses on predicting degrees offalse membership. The difference between these memberships quantifies uncertainty, indicating the degree ofindeterminacy in predictions. The experimental results indicate the superior performance of our model comparedto previous work when evaluated on the Davidson dataset.

Effects of location, orchard type, laying period and nest position on the reproductive performance of Turtle Doves(Streptopelia turtur) on intensively cultivated farmland

Background: Until recently little was known about factors affecting reproductive parameters of the Turtle Dove(Streptopelia turtur) on intensively cultivated farmland in the mediterranean area. In this study, the reproductive parameters of this game species were evaluated in relation to location, orchard type, laying period and nest position in central ***: A total of 317 nests were found and analyzed across five breeding seasons(2004–2008) in the Haouz and Tadla regions, over two major agro-ecosystems made up of olive and orange orchards. Nest position, laying period, clutch size and the number of chicks hatched and fledged per nest were determined on 120 study plots. I used Generalized Linear models(GLms) with a Poisson distribution and a log link function, including the logarithm of the number of eggs in each clutch as an offset to model the number of chicks hatched and fledged per ***: Clutch-size was not affected by location, orchard type, laying period or nest position. The number of chicks hatched per nest differed between orchard types; they were greater in olive orchards(1.33 ± 0.06) than in orange ones(1.03 ± 0.08), whereas the number of chicks fledged per nest consistently differed with laying period and orchard type, which were higher in the early laying period(1.22 ± 0.07) than in the late period(0.93 ± 0.08) and higher in olive orchards(1.22 ± 0.06) than in orange orchards(0.90 ± 0.06). Neither location nor nest position were related to variation in the fledging success of the Turtle ***: Olive orchards and the early laying period confer better nesting conditions than orange orchards and the late laying period. Although nest position could be different in each orchard type, it did not affect the breeding success of the Turtle Dove, suggesting that factors other than tree characteristics are influential.
