The Egyptian Nubian Shield(ENS)represents the northwestern part of the Arabian-Nubian Shield and the northern extension of the East African *** ENS is regarded as being formed due to northward-directed escape *** is characterized by mild accretion and suture zones dominated by major strike-slip zones with a commonly sinistral sense of movement;some shear zones display a dextral sense of *** is dominated by gneisses and migmatites in the south,arc volcaniclastic metasediments and highly dismembered ophiolites in the central parts,whereas its northern part is dominated by late-to post-tectonic *** southern Sinai,the Neoproterozoic rocks are grouped into four complexes,namely Feiran–Solaf,sa’al–Zaghra,Kid and *** ENS ophiolites were formed between 730–750 Ma,mainly in a supra-subduction zone *** ENS has undergone a Neoproterozoic deformation history involving three successive phases:(1)Early N–S shortening phase(D1),(2)Syn-accretionary phase(D2)and(3)Post-accretionary phase(D3).The initial island-arc stage(780–730 Ma)is a N–S shortening phase initiated by collision between the Eastern Desert tectonic terrane to the north with both the Gebeit and Gabgaba terranes to the south(830–720 Ma).During the arc-splitting and back-arc spreading stage(730–620),voluminous syn-tectonic granitoids intruded into the ENS(750–610 Ma).The E–W-directed compressional/transpressional phase(620–450 Ma)led to the overall uplift of the central part of the ENS and consequently the development and exhumation of the core complexes in oblique convergent *** E–W intense shortening deformation resulted also in the formation of NW-and NE-striking sinistral and dextral strike-slip shear zones,*** latest periods of the E–W-directed compressional/transpressional regime were characterized by deposition of the molasse-type Hammamat Sediments unconformably over the Dokhan Volcanics,or interbedded with *** combined thrusting,folding and sin

The cancellable biometric transformations are designed to be computationally difficult to obtain the original biometric *** paper presents a cancellable multi-biometric identification scheme that includes four stages:biometric data collection and processing,Arnold’s Cat Map encryption,decimation process to reduce the size,and finalmerging of the four biometrics in a single generated ***,a 2D matrix of size 128×128 is created based on Arnold’s Cat Map(ACM).The purpose of this rearrangement is to break the correlation between pixels to hide the biometric patterns and merge these patterns together for more *** decimation is performed to keep the dimensions of the overall cancellable template similar to those of a single template to avoid data ***,some sort of aliasing occurs due to decimation,contributing to the intended distortion of biometric *** hybrid structure that comprises encryption,decimation,andmerging generates encrypted and distorted cancellable *** simulation results obtained for performance evaluation show that the system is safe,reliable,and feasible as it achieves high security in the presence of noise.

interactive Effect of Sewage Sludge Application with Phytohormones iAA or sa on Three Broad Bean Cultivars

The present work has been performed to study the growth and metabolic activities of three broad bean cultivars (Giza 843, sakha 1, and Giza 716) which are shown to have different response to sewage sludge applications and to determine the effects of phytohormones iAA or sa. Along with identifying the mechanisms of broad bean response and the role of growth regulators (200 ppm of iAA or 10 mM of sa) in counteract sewage sludge effects is examined. The situation can be recorded that growth parameters fresh, dry matter and water content of pods were significantly increased as increasing SSL in cultivars 843 and in sakha up to 70% level. However, these parameters were markedly decreased as increasing SSL in cv. Giza 716. Length and number of pods were unchanged in cv. sakha 1, increased in cv. Giza 843 while they decreased in cv. Giza 716 with increasing SSL. Phytohormonal application stimulated growth parameters in pods of three tested cultivars Giza 843, Sakha 1 and Giza 716 with sewage treatments. Soluble sugar and soluble protein content decreased as increasing SSL in both cv. Sakha 1 and cv. Giza 716. In cv. Giza 843, soluble sugar was significantly increased while soluble protein was decreased as increasing SSL. Proline content was unchanged in cv. Sakha 1, increased in cv. Giza 716 while decreased in cv. Giza 843. Metabolites (soluble sugar, soluble protein and proline) showed variations in three broad bean cultivars to IAA or SA application plus sewage sludge treatments. In cv. Giza 716 SS treatment increased Zn, Ni, PB and Cu. In cv. Giza 843 SS treatment decreased Zn, Pb, and Cu while increased Ni. In cv. Sakha 1 SS treatment decreased Zn, Ni, Pb and Cu. Phytohormonal treatments showed an increasing or decreasing effect in heavy metal in three tested cultivars.

Tonian–Ediacaran Tectonometamorphic History of the sa'al Complex,Sinai(Egypt):implications for the Tectonostratigraphic Framework of the Northern Arabian–Nubian Shield

The sa'al Metamorphic Complex(SMC;southern Sinai)encompasses the oldest arc rocks in the Arabian–Nubian Shield,comprising two non-consanguineous metavolcanic successions(the Agramiya Group and the Post-Ra'ayan Formation)separated by the metasediments of the Ra'ayan *** experienced three distinct deformational events(D_(1)–D_(3))and two low-medium grade regional metamorphic events(M_1–M_(2)).The Agramiya Group and the Ra'ayan Formation experienced all tectonometamorphic events(D_1–D_(3)and M_(1)–M_(2)),whereas the Post-Ra'ayan volcanic rocks were only affected by the D_(3)and M_(2)events.D_(1)is an extensional event and is connected to the late Rodinia break-up(~Tonian;900–870 Ma).The M_(1)metamorphism variably affected the older Agramiya Group,the rhyolitic tuffs experiencing lower to upper greenschist facies conditions and the basic and intermediate volcanic rocks undergoing amphibolite facies *** Ra'ayan Formation metasediments experienced upper greenschist to amphibolite facies *** upper greenschist facies M_(2)affected the youngest Post-Ra'ayan volcanic rocks and other stratigraphic *** compressive D_(2)and D_(3)events were coeval with the accretion of dismembered terranes in the assembly of Gondwana.D_(2)can be linked to the Tonian–Cryogenian arc-arc assembly(~880–760 Ma;in elat and Sinai),whereas D_(3)and the accompanying M_(2)is constrained to 622–600 Ma(Ediacaran).

Drought Strategy Tolerance of Four Barley Cultivars and Combined Effect with salicylic Acid Application

This investigation was conducting to explain that four barley genotypes varied in their drought tolerance according to their genotype and their tested organs. it can be recorded that growth parameters (fresh, dry matter and length, water content, leaf area and pigment contents) were decreased as decreasing M. C. in the soil. This indicated that Giza 123 was the superior in its drought tolerance and Giza 129 was the interior and both cv. Giza 2000 and cv. Giza 124 were the intermediated between them. This concomitant with increase in soluble sugar and soluble protein content of both organs in Giza 123 and shoot Ca++, this related with lower value of OP other than genotypes, in Giza 2000 this was related with a huge accumulation in soluble protein of shoot and root, shoot amino acids and root proline reach 3-folds than control plants as decreasing M. C. Whereas drought stress increased soluble protein only in Giza 124 while in Giza 129 decreasing M. C. increased soluble protein, amino acids and proline contents in shoot and root and shoot Ca++. The values of OP increased as decreasing M. C. in four barley cultivars concomitant with their drought tolerance. Also, sa application was markedly enhanced the production of growth parameters in shoot and root with varied degree according to each tested barley genotypes. sa application was significantly increased OP in shoot, root and spike of barley pants. Spraying vegetative parts with 0.5 mM sa was markedly increased the soluble sugar, soluble protein and amino acids in shoot, root and spike of four barley cultivars. On the other side, sa application lowered the accumulation of proline in shoot and root of barley genotypes. sa treatment induced no significant change in K+, Ca++, and Mg++ in shoot, root and spike of Giza 123, it significantly increased K+, Ca++, and Mg++ in shoot and root of Giza 2000. sa application enhanced accumulation of K+, Ca++ in shoot and root of Giza 124 and K+, Ca++ and Mg++in three organs of Giza

Effects of Exogenous Putrescine Application on Hormone Content of Citrus aurantium L. Seedling under salt Stress

A pot experiment was conducted in lath house to study the response of six month-old seedlings of sour orange （Citrus aurantium L.） irrigated with salinity water （1, 2 or 4 ds/m） for four month. The seedling was sprayed with putrescine at 0, 150 or 300 mg/L concentrations for three times with month interval, for investigation the effects of putrrescine spraying on hormonal changes in sour orange seedlings under salt stress. One month after the last putrescine application, the leaves of the vegetative shoots were picked for endogenous plant hormone determina.ion. The results indicate that increasing level of irrigation water salinity to 4 ds/m significantly increased ABA, Put and sa; whereas, decreasing iAA and GA in leave. Spraying vegetative canopy with putreseine at 300 mg/L increased 1AA, sa, ABA and Put, while decreased GA. it can be concluded that the adverse effects of high salinity irrigated water on endogenous plant hormone can be ameliorated, to some extent, by exogenous application of Put at 150 mg/L or 300 mg/L concentration.

An Experimental Study on the Effect of Foundation Depth, Size and Shape on Subgrade Reaction of Cohessionless Soil

The modulus of subgrade reaction ks depends on several factors such as the size and shape of the foundation as well as the embedment depth of the foundation. The present study is an experimental analysis using plate load test to determine the effect of foundation depth, size as well as the shape on the modulus of subgrade reaction (ks) of cohesionless soils. it was carried out by using nine rigid steel plates with different sizes and shapes (circular, square and retangular). The tests were carried out on cohessionless soil with different relative densities under different applied pressures. The settlement has been measured at the surface of the plate for different depths of footings. The ultimate bearing capacity [qu] has been determined from the stress-settlement relationships. The allowable bearing capacity (qa) was determined by dividing the ultimate bearing capacity (qu) by F.S. = 3.0, after which the corresponding settlement (sa) has been obtained. However, ks was calculated based on dividing the allowable bearing capacity (qa) by the corresponding settlement (sa). From the present study it is concluded that the subgrade reaction ks of cohessionless soil increases with increasing foundation depth as well as foundation size. in addition, subgrade reaction ks of cohessionless soil under rectangular footing is higher than that under square and that under circular one with same equivalent area. An empirical formula is presented to calculate the subgrade reaction ks of cohessionless soil under square foundation taking into consideration foundation depth. Fair agreement has been obtained between values of ks from the empirical formula at depth of footing = 0.00 B and Biot (1937) as well as Meyerhof and Baike (1965).

Visual motion segmentation(VMS)is an important and key part of many intelligent crowd *** can be used to figure out the flow behavior through a crowd and to spot unusual life-threatening incidents like crowd stampedes and crashes,which pose a serious risk to public safety and have resulted in numerous fatalities over the past few *** clustering has become one of the most popular methods in ***,complex data,such as a large number of samples and parameters,makes it difficult for trajectory clustering to work well with accurate motion segmentation *** study introduces a spatial-angular stacked sparse autoencoder model(sa-SsaE)with l2-regularization and softmax,a powerful deep learning method for visual motion segmentation to cluster similar motion patterns that belong to the same *** proposed model can extract meaningful high-level features using only spatial-angular features obtained from refined tracklets(a.k.a‘trajectories’).We adopt l2-regularization and sparsity regularization,which can learn sparse representations of features,to guarantee the sparsity of the *** employ the softmax layer to map the data points into accurate cluster *** of the best advantages of the sa-SsaE framework is it can manage VMS even when individuals move around *** framework helps cluster the motion patterns effectively with higher *** put forward a new dataset with itsmanual ground truth,including 21 crowd *** conducted on two crowd benchmarks demonstrate that the proposed model can more accurately group trajectories than the traditional clustering approaches used in previous *** proposed sa-SsaE framework achieved a 0.11 improvement in accuracy and a 0.13 improvement in the F-measure compared with the best current method using the CUHK dataset.

We propose and demonstrate a passively mode-locked erbium-doped fiber laser(EDFL)based on zinc-oxide/polydimethylsiloxane(ZnO/PDMS)saturable absorber(sa)that evanescently interacts with the light on a tapered *** ZnO/PDMS composite is coated on the whole surface of the tapered fiber to guarantee the maximum efficiency of the sa device,with a measured insertion loss of 0.87 dB and a modulation depth of 6.4%.The proposed laser can generate soliton mode-locking operation at a threshold power of 33.07 *** generated output pulse yields a repetition rate and pulse width of 9.77 MHz and 1.03 ps,*** results indicate that the proposed ZnO/PDMS-clad tapered fiber could be useful as an efficient,compatible,and low-cost sa device for ultrafast laser applications.

目的:改善重组人白介素-11在原核表达体系中的可溶表达水平以及在体内的循环半衰期。方法:通过构建白蛋白结合肽融合人白介素-11重组蛋白表达载体[pET-30a(+)-abd-rhiL11],实现融合蛋白在原核表达体系中的可溶表达;基于疏水层析、离子交换层析和凝胶层析建立从破菌上清液中纯化abd-rhiL-11的方法;通过圆二色光谱及荧光发射光谱分析等鉴定abd-rhiL-11空间结构,并进行体内外活性及药效学评价。结果:成功获得纯度高于95%的重组融合蛋白,体外结合实验结果表明,abd-rhiL-11能够迅速与人血清白蛋白(human serum albumin,Hsa)结合;细胞增殖实验结果显示,abd-rhiL-11与对照品活性相当;药代动力学结果显示,融合蛋白能够显著延长白介素-11在大鼠体内的循环半衰期;血小板计数实验结果显示,abd-rhiL-11能够有效刺激大鼠血小板增殖。结论:为基于白蛋白结合肽融合策略的白介素-11药物长效设计提供了新的思路。
