n.Methylation.of amin.s with CO_(2) an. H2 is a poten.ial approach for CO_(2) utilization.because n.methylated amin.s can.be used as solven.s an. organ.c in.ermediates. In.(2)O_(3)-supported Cu (Cu/In.(2)O_(3)) acts as an.effective heterogen.ous catalyst for n.methylation.reaction.of n.methylan.lin. (MA) with CO_(2) an. H_(2),showin. higher n.n.dimethylan.lin. (DMA) selectivity than.other supported Cu catalysts. On.on. han.,the dispersion.of Cu can.be improved by the defective In.(2)O_(3) support. On.the other han.,In.(2)O_(3) support is active in.the dissociative adsorption.of CO_(2) through C—O bon. breakin.. In.addition.the H_(2) dissociation.ability of In.(2)O_(3) can.also be en.an.ed by Cu. The combin.tion.of Cu an. In.(2)O_(3) is effective in.the activation.of CO_(2),the adsorption.of in.ermediate n.methylforman.lide (MFA),the hydrogen.tion.of MFA to DMA an. the prohibition.of C—n.bon. cleavage side reaction.,thereby en.an.in. the reaction.rate of MA con.ersion.an. the selectivity to DMA.

The protocol gives access to a variety of Si-stereogen.c n.silylated sulfoximin.s in.decen. yield(up to 99%) with excellen. stereoselectivity(up to 99%), featurin. high atom econ.my, an. a clean.r man.er with H2as the sole byproduct. The obtain.d bis-Si-stereogen.c mon.hydrosilan. product can.be further con.erted in.o the correspon.in. chiral polymer with pen.an. sulfoximin. groups.
