Spiropyrimidines vanquish a significant situation in the field of heterocyclic chemistry, they are broadly utilized as an antibacterial, an inhibitor of multidrug opposition, or an antiplatelet and antithrombotic drug. Phosphate, the principal Moroccan mineral wealth occupies a vital spot in the economic sector and its valuation is a goal continually looked for. Among the conceivable outcomes of valorization, its utilization in heterogeneous catalysis which thought about an exceptionally encouraging new way. In this context, the focus on the reaction of the synthesis of spiropy-rimidine, catalyzed by natural phosphate (NP) and by fluoroapatite (Fap), are used alone or doped by cobalt. These phosphate catalysts were characterized by XRd, IR and SEM, while the synthesized spiropyrimidine was identified by IR, GC-MS and NMR. The obtained yield with fluorapatite doped by cobalt (Co/Fap), at room temperature in ethanol is very high and shows a high impact performance induced by a synergistic effect compared to that of NP alone.

driven by many applications in a wide span of scientifc fields,a myriad of advanced ultrafast imaging techniques have emerged in the last decade,featuring record-high imaging speeds above a trllion-frame-per-second with long sequence *** bringing remarkable insights into various ultrafast phenomena,their application out of a laboratory environment is however limited in most cases,either by the cost,complexity of the operation or by heavy data *** then report a versatile single-shot imaging technique combining sequentially timed lloptical mapping photography(STAMP)with acousto-optics programmable dispersive fhItering(AOPdF)and digital in-line holography(dIH).On the one hand,a high degree of simplicity is reached through the AOPdF,which enables full control over the acquisition parameters via an electrically driven phase and amplitude spectro-temporal tailoring of the imaging ***,contrary to most single-shot techniques,the frame rate,exposure time,and frame intensities can be independently adjusted in a wide range of pulse durations and chirp values without resorting to complex shaping stages,making the system remarkably agile and *** the other hand,the use of dIH,which does not require any reference beam,allows to achieve an even higher technical simplicity by allowing its lensless operation but also for reconstructing the object on a wide depth of field,contrary to classical techniques that only provide images in a single *** imaging speed of the system as well as its flexibility are demonstrated by visualizing ultrashort events on both the picosecond and nanosecond *** virtues and limitations as welll as the potential improvements of this on-demand ultrafast imaging method are critically discussed.

Among the models used to assess water erosion,the RUSLE model is commonly *** makers can act on cover(C-factor)and conservation practice(P-factor)to reduce erosion,with less costly action on soil surface ***,the widespread use of vegetation indices such as NdVI does not allow for a proper assessment of the C-factor in drylands where stones,crusted surfaces and litter strongly influence soil *** sub-factors of C,canopy cover(CC)and soil cover(SC),can be assessed from phytoecological measurements that include gravel-pebbles cover,physical mulch,annual and perennial *** paper introduces a method to calculate the C-factor from phytoecological data and,in combination with remote sensing and a geographic information system(GIS),to map it over large areas.A supervised classification,based on field phytoecological data,is applied to radiometric data from Landsat-8/OLI satellite ***,a C-factor value,whose SC and CC subfactors are directly derived from the phytoecological measurements,is assigned to each land cover *** method and RUSLE are implemented on a pilot region of 3828 km^(2) of the saharan Atlas,composed of rangelands and steppe formations,and intended to become an *** protective effect against erosion by gravel-pebbles(50%)is more than twice that of vegetation(23%).The C-factor derived from NdVI(0.67)is higher and more evenly distributed than that combining these two contributions(0.37 on average).Finally,priorities are proposed to decision-makers by crossing the synthetic map of erosion sensitivity and a decision matrix of management priorities.

The Egyptian Nubian Shield(ENS)represents the northwestern part of the Arabian-Nubian Shield and the northern extension of the East African *** ENS is regarded as being formed due to northward-directed escape *** is characterized by mild accretion and suture zones dominated by major strike-slip zones with a commonly sinistral sense of movement;some shear zones display a dextral sense of *** is dominated by gneisses and migmatites in the south,arc volcaniclastic metasediments and highly dismembered ophiolites in the central parts,whereas its northern part is dominated by late-to post-tectonic *** southern Sinai,the Neoproterozoic rocks are grouped into four complexes,namely Feiran–Solaf,sa’al–Zaghra,Kid and *** ENS ophiolites were formed between 730–750 Ma,mainly in a supra-subduction zone *** ENS has undergone a Neoproterozoic deformation history involving three successive phases:(1)Early N–S shortening phase(d1),(2)Syn-accretionary phase(d2)and(3)Post-accretionary phase(d3).The initial island-arc stage(780–730 Ma)is a N–S shortening phase initiated by collision between the Eastern desert tectonic terrane to the north with both the Gebeit and Gabgaba terranes to the south(830–720 Ma).during the arc-splitting and back-arc spreading stage(730–620),voluminous syn-tectonic granitoids intruded into the ENS(750–610 Ma).The E–W-directed compressional/transpressional phase(620–450 Ma)led to the overall uplift of the central part of the ENS and consequently the development and exhumation of the core complexes in oblique convergent *** E–W intense shortening deformation resulted also in the formation of NW-and NE-striking sinistral and dextral strike-slip shear zones,*** latest periods of the E–W-directed compressional/transpressional regime were characterized by deposition of the molasse-type Hammamat Sediments unconformably over the dokhan Volcanics,or interbedded with *** combined thrusting,folding and sin

In this study,the Z-type control method is applied to an intraguild crop-pest-natural enemy model,assuming that the natural enemy can predate on both crop and pest *** this purpose,the indirect Z-type controller is considered in the natural enemy *** providing the design function for the crop-pest-natural enemy model with Z-control,we find the analytical expression of the update *** findings indicate that the uncontrolled system can produce chaos through perioddoubling bifurcation due to crop over-consumption by the pest *** draw a Poincare map to confirm the occurrence of chaos and compute the maximum Lyapunov *** the observations further indicate that the pest population can be controlled by using an indirect Z-control mechanism in the natural enemy population,we postulate that,if natural enemy abundance can be governed by the update parameter,any desired pest population abundance can be achieved through the proposed Z-type controller,thus controlling the *** verify these assertions,extensive numerical simulations are performed to explore the potential for practical application of the proposed Z-type controller.

Recently,research on hydrogel materials with a porous structure and superior water absorption capabilities significantly ***,the hydrogel under gravity-driven separation conditions often exhibit an unstable pore structure,poor mechanical properties,and limited *** this end,this work presents a novel approach that combines a macro-micro double bionic strategy with a triple crosslinking method to develop a multifunctional alginate composite hydrogel filter(2%-sa-κCG-PVA-Ca^(2+),2%-SKP-Ca^(2+)for short)with a stable pore structure and superior mechanical properties,which possessed an umbrella-shaped structure resembling that of *** 2%-SKPCa^(2+)filter was synthesized using polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)as a stable structure-directing agent,and sodium alginate(sa)andκ-carrageenan(κ-CG)as polymer *** distinctive umbrellashaped hydrogel of 2%-SKP-Ca^(2+)filter,formed through the triple crosslinking method,overcomes the limitations of unstable pore structure and poor durability seen in hydrogels prepared by traditional crosslinking ***,the utilization of the 2%-SKP-Ca^(2+)filter in water treatment demonstrates its good selective permeability,excellent resistance to fouling,and extended longevity,which enables it to simultaneously achieve the multifunctional water purification and the coating of multi-substrate anti-fouling ***,not only does this research provide an efficient,multifunctional,highly pollution-resistant preparation method for designing a new filter,but it also confirms the application prospect of the macro-micro dual bionic strategy developed in this study in complex water treatment.

Ballistic design and testing of a composite armour reinforced by CNTs suitable for armoured vehicles

This paper is investigating the use of composite armour reinforced by nanomaterials, for the protection of light armoured(LAV) and medium armoured military vehicles(MAV), and the interaction between the composite materials and high-performance ballistic projectiles. Four armour materials, consisted of front hybrid fibre reinforced polymer cover layer, ceramic strike-face, fibre reinforced polymer intermediate layer and the metal matrix composite reinforced backplate, were manufactured and assembled by adhesive technology. The proposed laminated protection system is suitable for armoured ground vehicles;however, it could be used as armour on ground, air and naval platforms. The design of the protection system, including material selection and thickness, was elaborated depending on the performance requirements of Level 4 + STANAG 4569 military standard(projectile 14.5 mm × 114 mm API B32) and especially on a design philosophy which is analysed with the specifications. The backplate of this new composite is a hybrid material of Metal Matrix Composite(MMC) reinforced with carbon nanotubes(CNTs), manufactured with the use of powder metallurgy technique. The composite backplate material was morphologically, mechanically and chemically analysed. Results show that all plates are presenting high mechanical properties and ballistic characteristics, compared to commonly used armour plates. Real military ballistic tests according to AEP-STANAG 4569 were carried out for the total composite armour systems. After the ballistic tests, AA2024-CNT3 showed the best protection results, compared with the other plates(AA2024-CNT1 and AA2024-CNT2), with the projectile being unable to fully penetrate the composite plate.

The sa'al Metamorphic Complex(SMC;southern Sinai)encompasses the oldest arc rocks in the Arabian–Nubian Shield,comprising two non-consanguineous metavolcanic successions(the Agramiya Group and the Post-Ra'ayan Formation)separated by the metasediments of the Ra'ayan *** experienced three distinct deformational events(d_(1)–d_(3))and two low-medium grade regional metamorphic events(M_1–M_(2)).The Agramiya Group and the Ra'ayan Formation experienced all tectonometamorphic events(d_1–d_(3)and M_(1)–M_(2)),whereas the Post-Ra'ayan volcanic rocks were only affected by the d_(3)and M_(2)events.d_(1)is an extensional event and is connected to the late Rodinia break-up(~Tonian;900–870 Ma).The M_(1)metamorphism variably affected the older Agramiya Group,the rhyolitic tuffs experiencing lower to upper greenschist facies conditions and the basic and intermediate volcanic rocks undergoing amphibolite facies *** Ra'ayan Formation metasediments experienced upper greenschist to amphibolite facies *** upper greenschist facies M_(2)affected the youngest Post-Ra'ayan volcanic rocks and other stratigraphic *** compressive d_(2)and d_(3)events were coeval with the accretion of dismembered terranes in the assembly of Gondwana.d_(2)can be linked to the Tonian–Cryogenian arc-arc assembly(~880–760 Ma;in Elat and Sinai),whereas d_(3)and the accompanying M_(2)is constrained to 622–600 Ma(Ediacaran).
