We presented an unusual case with coexistence of carcinoid, signet-ring cell carcinoma （SRC） and heterotopic pancreatic tissue in stomach. Gastroscopic examination of this 63-year-old male patient showed multiple protrusions in gastric corpus near the greater curvature, identified by subsequent biopsy as carcinoid, Distal subtotal gastrectomy was performed, Histological and immunohistochemical examinations showed a carcinoid tumor in gastric corpus near the greater curvature, an intramucosal SRC at the lesser curvature of corpus and heterotopic pancreatic tissue in muscularis propria of the antrum at the lesser curvature with hyperplasia of peripheral endocrine cells producing multiple pancreatic hormones, We reviewed the literatures on clinicopathological characteristics and the differential diagnosis of the above three abnormalities, and concluded that the carcinoid in corpus near the greater curvature and SRC in the lesser curvature are independent lesions; the loci of endocrine cells in the muscularis propria and serosa are hyperplastic lesions from the heterotopic pancreatic tissue, rather than dissemination of carcinoid in corpus.

A novel series of 3,6-disubstituted 1,2,4-triazolo[3,4-b]-1,3,4-thiadiazoles were synthesized by the condensation of 4-amino-5- [2-(4-chlorophenoxymethylbenzimidazole)-1-methylene]-3-mercapto-1,2,4-triazole with various(un)substituted aromatic acids in the presence of phosphorous *** compounds were investigated for their inhibitory activity to *** methionine aminopeptidase(EcMetAP1).Some of the tested compounds showed significant inhibitory activity.

Tetracycline-resistant bacteria（TRB） are of concern as emerging microbial contaminants in reclaimed *** understand the effects of UV disinfection on TRB,both inactivation and reactivation profiles of TRB,as well as 16 tetracycline-resistant isolates from secondary effluent,were characterized in this *** inactivation ratio of TRB was significantly lower（3.0-log） than that of heterotrophic bacteria（〉4.0-log） in the secondary ***,the proportion of TRB significantly increased from 1.65%to 15.51%under20 mJ/cm^2 ultraviolet（UV） *** inactivation rates of tetracycline-resistant isolates ranged from 0.57/s to 1.04/s,of which tetracycline-resistant Enterobacter-1 was the most tolerant to UV *** reactivation of TRB,tetracycline-resistant isolated strains,as well as heterotrophic bacteria commonly occurred in the secondary effluent even after20 mJ/cm^2 UV *** colony forming ability of TRB and heterotrophic bacteria reached 3.2-log and 3.0-log under 20 mJ/cm^2 UV exposure after 22 hr *** final inactivation ratio of tetracycline-resistant Enterobacter-1 was 1.18-log under 20 mJ/cm^2 UV exposure after 22 hr incubation,which is similar to those of TRB（1.18-log） and heterotrophic bacteria（1.19-log）.The increased proportion of TRB and the reactivation of tetracycline-resistant enterobacteria in reclaimed water could induce a microbial health risk during wastewater reuse.

The influences of heat treatment time on structure and the electrochemical behavior of electro-deposited amorphous Ni-P alloy coating were studied. The results show that the as-plated deposits have an amorphous structure, and the deposits crystallize into Ni12P5 and Ni3P at 260 °C, and the corrosion resistance of the as-plated deposits are better than that of the deposits after heat treatment.

The effect of sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate (SDBS), an anionic surfactant used widely in household products and industrial processes, on saturated hydraulic conductivities (Ksat) of an Anthrosol saturated with sodium (Na-soil) or calcium (Ca-soil) was analyzed in a laboratory experiment using the constant head method, and adsorption and dispersion experiments were also conducted to infer the possible mechanisms of Ksat fluctuations. The results showed that SDBS was more intensely adsorbed in the Ca-soil than in the Na-soil. With an increase in the SDBS concentration, the stability of the Na-soil suspensions decreased when the SDBS concentration was less than 1.2 mmol L-1 and then above this concentration, increased markedly, while the stability of the Ca-soil suspensions increased gradually at all SDBS concentrations studied. With an increase in the SDBS concentration, the Ksat of the Na-soil increased, which resulted mainly from the increase of water channels in the soil because of the coagulation of the soil particles, while the Ksat of Ca-soil decreased mainly on account of the clogging of partial water channels by precipitated Ca(DBS)2 and the fine soil particles generated.

The CdSe/CdS/ZnS core/shell/shell quantum dots(QDs)with strong exciton confinement have manifested themselves as competitive light-emitting materials in electrochemiluminescence(ECL).However,cathodic ECL generation by these QDs requires the injection of electron and hole from solid electrode and electrogenerated radicals(for example SO_(4)•^(−)),which is inevitably influenced by not only the inorganic structure of QDs but also the organic ligands on the *** this work we aimed at studying the impact of surface organic ligands on ECL performance of CdSe/CdS/ZnS *** changing the surface ligand from oleate to acetate,we phenomenologically observed the positive shift of ECL onset potential by ca.200 mV and the increase of ECL intensity by~100 times,suggesting that a short ligand is more favorable for ECL *** further comprehend the ligand effect,we measured the charge injection kinetics using potential-modulated,time-resolved photoluminescence,and thinlayer spectroelectrochemistry *** electron and hole injection into QDs were found to be accelerated by 2–20 times if shortening the ligand from oleate to acetate,confirming the significant impact of surface ligands on ECL performance of *** study is expected to provide guidance on how to design surface functionalized QDs for specific applications such as ECL immunodiagnosis,photocatalysis,and photovoltaics.

Structural energy storage composites present advantages in simultaneously achieving structural strength and electrochemical *** of carbon fiber electrodes and resin structural electrolytes in energy storage composite poses challenges in maintaining good mechanical and electrochemical properties at reasonable cost and ***,we report a simple method to fabricate structural supercapacitor using carbon fiber electrodes(modified by Ni-layered double hydroxide(Ni-LDH)and in-situ growth of Co-metal-organic framework(Co-MOF)in a two-step process denoted as Co-MOF/Ni-LDH@CF)and bicontinuous-phase epoxy resin-based structural ***-MOF/Ni-LDH@CF as electrode material exhibits improved specific capacity(42.45 F·g^(-1))and cycle performance(93.3%capacity retention after 1000 cycles)in a three-electrode *** bicontinuous-phase epoxy resin-based structural electrolyte exhibits an ionic conductivity of 3.27×10^(-4) S·cm^(-1).The fabricated Co-MOF/Ni-LDH@CF/SPE-50 structural supercapacitor has an energy density of 3.21 Wh·kg^(-1) at a power density of 42.25 W·kg^(-1),whilst maintaining tensile strength and modulus of 334.6 MPa and 25.2 *** results show practical potential of employing modified commercial carbon fiber electrodes and epoxy resin-based structural electrolytes in structural energy storage applications.

Three novel conjugated polymers bearing 3,4-bis（4-hexylthiophen-2-yl）-3-cyclobutene-1,2-dione unit in their main chain have been synthesized successfully in good yields through Suzuki or Stille coupling *** molecular structures have been confirmed by FT-IR,~1H NMR and ^（13）C *** these copolymers exhibit broad and strong absorption bands in UV-vis region,and their optical band gaps are calculated to be 1.6-2.0 *** that they have good coverage with the solar *** polymers have good thermostability and solubility in common organic ***,all these objective macromolecules possess high electron affinity of～3.8 eV determined from cyclic voltammetry measurement,implying that they are potential n-type polymeric photovoltaic materials.
