Recently,metal selenides have obtained widespread attention as electrode materials for alkali(Li^(+)/Na^(+)/K^(+))batteries due to their promising theoretical capacity and ***,metal selenides,similar to metal oxides and sulfides,also suffer from severe volume explosion during repeated charge/discharge processes,which results in the structure collapse and the following pulverization of electrode ***,it leads to poor cycle stability and influencing their further *** order to solve these issues,some special strategies,including elemental doping,coupling with carbon materials,synthesis of the bimetal selenides with heterostructure,etc.,have been gradually applied to design novel electrode materials with outstanding electrochemical ***,the recent research progress on metal selenides as anodes for alkali ion batteries is summarized,including the regulation of crystal structure,synthesis strategies,modification methods,and electrochemical mechanisms and ***,the challenges of metal selenides and the perspective for future electrode material design are *** is hoped to pave a way for the development of metal selenide electrode materials for the potential applications for alkali metal ion(Li^(+)/Na^(+)/K^(+))batteries.

Climate-Vegetation Coverage Interactions in the Hengduan Mountains Area, Southeastern Tibetan Plateau, and Their Downstream Effects

Little is known about the mechanism of climate-vegetation coverage coupled changes in the Tibetan Plateau(TP)region,which is the most climatically sensitive and ecologically fragile region with the highest terrain in the *** study,using multisource datasets(including satellite data and meteorological observations and reanalysis data)revealed the mutual feedback mechanisms between changes in climate(temperature and precipitation)and vegetation coverage in recent decades in the Hengduan Mountains Area(HMA)of the southeastern TP and their influences on climate in the downstream region,the Sichuan Basin(SCB).There is mutual facilitation between rising air temperature and increasing vegetation coverage in the HMA,which is most significant during winter,and then during spring,but insignificant during summer and *** temperature significantly enhances local vegetation coverage,and vegetation greening in turn heats the atmosphere via enhancing net heat flux from the surface to the *** atmospheric heating anomaly over the HMA thickens the atmospheric column and increases upper air *** high pressure anomaly disperses downstream via the westerly flow,expands across the SCB,and eventually increases the SCB *** effect lasts from winter to the following spring,which may cause the maximum increasing trend of the SCB temperature and vegetation coverage in *** results are helpful for estimating future trends in climate and eco-environmental variations in the HMA and SCB under warming scenarios,as well as seasonal forecasting based on the connection between the HMA eco-environment and SCB climate.

BACKGROUND Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)ranks sixth globally in cancer incidence and third in mortality ***,over 70% of HCC patients forego the opportunity for curative surgery or liver transplantation due to inadequate physical examinations,poor physical condition,and limited organ availability upon *** guidelines endorse transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)as the frontline treatment for intermediate to advanced-stage ***(CRA)is an emerging local ablative therapy increasingly used in HCC *** studies suggest that combining CRA with TACE offers complementary and synergistic effects,potentially improving long-term survival ***,the superiority of combined TACE+CRA therapy over TACE alone for HCC lesions equal to or exceeding 5 cm requires further *** To compare the efficacy and safety of TACE combined with CRA vs TACE alone in the treatment of HCC with a diameter of≥5 *** PubMed,EMBASE,Cochrane Library,CNKI,Wanfang,and VIP databases were searched to retrieve all relevant studies on TACE and CRA up to July ***-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.3 *** After screening according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,6 articles were included,including 2 randomized controlled trials and 4 nonrandomized controlled trials,with a total of 575 patients included in the *** results showed that the objective response rate[odds ratio(OR)=2.56,95%confidence interval(CI):1.66-3.96,P<0.0001],disease control rate(OR=3.03,95%CI:1.88-4.89,P<0.00001),1-year survival rate(OR=3.79,95%CI:2.50-5.76,P<0.00001),2-year survival rate(OR=2.34,95%CI:1.43-3.85,P=0.0008),and 3-year survival rate(OR=3.34,95%CI:1.61-6.94,P=0.001)were all superior to those of the control group;the postoperative decrease in alpha-fetoprotein value(OR=295.53,95%CI:250.22-340.85,P<0.0001),the postoperative increase in CD4 value(OR=10.59,95%CI:8.78-12.40,P<0.00001),and the postoperative decrease in

Objective Keshan disease(KD)is a myocardial mitochondrial disease closely related to insufficient selenium(Se)and protein *** induced putative kinase 1(PINK1)/Parkin mediated mitochondrial autophagy regulates various physiological and pathological processes in the *** study aimed to elucidate the relationship between PINK1/Parkin-regulated mitochondrial autophagy and KD-related myocardial *** A low Se and low protein animal model was *** hundred Wistar rats were randomly divided into 5 groups(control group,low Se group,low protein group,low Se+low protein group,and corn from KD area group).The JC-1 method was used to detect the mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP).ELISA was used to detect serum creatine kinase MB(CK-MB),cardiac troponin I(cTnI),and mitochondrial-glutamicoxalacetic transaminase(M-GOT)***-PCR and Western blot analysis were used to detect the expression of PINK1,Parkin,sequestome 1(P62),and microtubule-associated proteins1A/1B light chain 3B(MAP1LC3B).Results The MMP was significantly decreased and the activity of CK-MB,cTnI,and M-GOT significantly increased in each experimental group(low Se group,low protein group,low Se+low protein group and corn from KD area group)compared with the control group(P<0.05 for all).The mRNA and protein expression levels of PINK1,Parkin and MAP1LC3B were profoundly increased,and those of P62 markedly decreased in the experimental groups compared with the control group(P<0.05 for all).Conclusion Low Se and low protein levels exacerbate myocardial damage in KD by affecting the PINK1/Parkin-mediated mitochondrial autophagy pathway.

Na-metasomatite uranium deposits are an important type of large-tonnage low-grade uranium deposit. They are characterized by an intimate association between uranium minerals and albite， and by the common development of syn-ore hydrothermal zircons. Similar to other types of uranium deposits， constraining an accurate age of mineralization remains a challenge for the Na-metasomatite type ones. In this study， we present for the first time， an approach that combines age dating results from the syn-ore albites (40Ar-39Ar) and hydrothermal zircons （U-Pb） for a typical Na-metasomatite uranium deposit， the Xinshuijing deposit in the Longshoushan metallogenic belt of northwest China. The hydrothermal zircon U-Pb and albite40Ar-39Ar ages are consistent with each other （378-366 Ma; within error）， but also identical to the previously reported uraninite chemical U-Pb ages （approximately 370 Ma）. The coupled application of hydrothermal zircon U-Pb and albite40Ar-39Ar age dating is thus regarded as a robust approach for constraining the age of mineralization for Na-metasomatite uranium deposits. An age gap of approximately 70 m.y. between uranium mineralization （～ 370 Ma） and host granitoid emplacement （about 440 Ma） suggests no direct genetic linkage between the two. Further exploration in the surrounding metamorphic units is therefore suggested， rather than only focusing on the host granitoids， especially where intensive wallrock alteration and structural features are pervasive. The varied hydrothermal zircon δ18O isotope compositions are attributed to the significant fluid-wallrock interaction during the uranium mineralization， which is consistent with our previous fluid inclusion and geochemical studies. Our study highlights the importance of selecting appropriate isotopic dating methods， which is informed by detailed paragenetic and geochemical analysis of dateable minerals formed before or coeval to the main-stage uranium mineralization. Carbon-supported platinum-lanthanum(Pt-Ln)intermetallic compound(IMC)nanoparticles with high activity and robust stability have been demonstrated as promising cathode catalysts for proton-exchange membrane fuel ***,the preparation of Pt-Ln IMC catalysts needs high-temperature annealing treatment that inevitably causes nanoparticle sintering,resulting in significant reduction of the electrochemical surface area and mass-based ***,we prepare small-sized M-doped Pt_(5)Ce(M=Ga,Cd,and Sb)IMCs catalysts via a low-melting-point metal doping *** speculate that the doping of low-melting-point metals can facilitate the generation of vacancies in the crystal lattice through thermal activation and thus reduce the kinetic barriers for the formation of intermetallic Pt_(5)Ce *** prepared Ga-doped Pt_(5)Ce catalyst exhibits a higher electrochemical active surface area(81 m^(2)·gPt^(-1))and a larger mass activity(0.45 A·mgPt^(-1)at 0.9 V)over the undoped Pt_(5)Ce and commercial Pt/C *** the membrane electrode assembly test,the Ga-doped Pt_(5)Ce cathode delivers a power density of 0.98 W·cm^(-2)at 0.67 V,along with a voltage loss of only 27 mV at 0.8 A·cm^(-2)at the end of accelerated stability test.

Throughout tumorigenesis, the co-evolution of tumor cells and their surrounding microenvironment leads to the development of malignant phenotypes. Cellular communication within the tumor microenvironment(TME) plays a critical role in influencing various aspects of tumor progression, including invasion and metastasis. The release of exosomes, a type of extracellular vesicle, by most cell types in the body, is an essential mediator of intercellular communication. A growing body of research indicates that tumor-derived exosomes(TDEs) significantly expedite tumor progression through multiple mechanisms, inducing epithelial-mesenchymal transition and macrophage polarization, enhancing angiogenesis, and aiding in the immune evasion of tumor cells. Herein, we describe the formation and characteristics of the TME, and summarize the contents of TDEs and their diverse functions in modulating tumor development. Furthermore, we explore potential applications of TDEs in tumor diagnosis and treatment.

In this study, a high-carbon nano-bainitic GCr15Si1Mo bearing steel was investigated. Specifically, the effects of content and size of undissolved carbides on the microstructure and transformation kinetics of nano-bainite were analyzed. The results demonstrated that after prolonged austempering at low temperatures, the mixed microstructure composed of nano-bainite (NB), undissolved carbides (UC), and retained austenite (RA) was obtained in GCr15SiMo steel. When the experimental steel was austenitized at 900 ℃, the undissolved carbides gradually dissolved until reaching a stable state with increasing holding time. Furthermore, at the same austempering temperature, despite different volume fractions of undissolved carbides in the substrate, the volume fractions of nano-bainite in the final microstructures remained essentially the same. Moreover, the higher the content of undissolved carbides in steel, the faster the transformation rate of nano-bainite and the shorter the total transformation time.

The widespread application of phenolic substances in the field of food,medicine and industry,is harmful to the environment and human ***,it is very important to develop a con-venient and effective method to detect and degrade phenolic ***,we report a new keggin-type polyoxometallate-based metal-organic complex self-assembled under solvothermal condition,{[Cu(dap)(3-PA)]4(SiW_(12)O_(40))(H_(2)O)_(2)}·2H_(2)O(1,dap=1,2-diaminopropane,3-HPA=3-pyridineacrylic acid).1 shows an interesting 1D ladder-like *** a bifunctional catalyst,1 can be employed as a colori-metric sensor toward phenol with the relatively low detection limit(LOD)of 0.36μmol/L(S/N=3)in the wide range(0.001-0.1 mmol/L).The title colorimetric sensor is applied to determine phenol in various water environment with good recoveries ranging from 95%-105%.In addition,1 also exhibits excellent photocatalytic degradation toward phenol under visible light with the highest removal efficiency at 96%for 100 min and wide pH *** selectivity,stability and reliability of the detection of 1 towards phenol,as well as the detection for 4-chlorophenol,o-cresol,4-nitrophenol and phloroglucinol were ***,the photocatalytic reaction kinetics and the mechanisms of photodegradation of phenol were also investigated in detail.
