Environmental pollution is escalating due to rapid global development that often prioritizes human needs over planetary *** global efforts to mitigate legacy pollutants,the continuous introduction of new substances remains a major threat to both people and the *** response,global initiatives are focusing on risk assessment and regulation of emerging contaminants,as demonstrated by the ongoing efforts to establish the UN’s Intergovernmental Science-Policy Panel on Chemicals,Waste,and Pollution *** review identifies the sources and impacts of emerging contaminants on planetary health,emphasizing the importance of adopting a One Health *** for monitoring and addressing these pollutants are discussed,underscoring the need for robust and socially equitable environmental policies at both regional and international *** actions are needed to transition toward sustainable pollution management practices to safeguard our planet for future generations.

A model for high-temperature superconductors incorporating antiferromagnetism,d-wave superconductivity,and no double lattice-site occupancy can give energy surfaces delicately balanced between antiferromagnetic and superconducting order for specific ranges of doping and temperature. The resulting properties can reconcile a universal cuprate phase diagram with rich inhomogeneity,relate that inhomogeneity to pseudogaps,give a fundamental rationale for giant proximity eects and other emergent behavior,and provide an objective framework to separate essential from peripheral in the superconducting mechanism.

Grain refinement of Al alloys inoculated by rare earth elements,such as Sc,has been extensively acknowledged,while the practical behavior of how inoculant Al_(3)Sc particles affect the refinement in solidification has not been clarified due to the non-transparency of the solidification ***,the microstructural evolution of primary Al_(3)Sc particles andα-Al grains in Al-10 wt.%Cu alloy solidifications with 0.2.wt.%,0.6 wt.%,and 1.0 wt.%Sc additions was investigated by in situ synchrotron X-ray *** detailed mechanisms of curve motion of grains(CMG)and melt convection were *** efficient grains nucleation,uniformly scattered small initial grains,and long duration of melt convection contributed to the best refinement in the 0.6 wt.%Sc addition *** work provides a deep insight into grain refinement in solidification with Sc addition,which will enlighten the composition design and casting process of Al alloys inoculated by rare earth elements.

Background:Although overnight fasting is recommended prior to endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP),the benefits and safety of high-carbohydrate fluid diet(CFD)intake 2.h before ERCP remain *** study aimed to analyze whether high-CFD intake 2.h before ERCP can be safe and accelerate patients’***:This prospective,multicenter,randomized controlled trial involved 15 tertiary ERCP centers.A total of 1330 patients were randomized into CFD group(n=665)and fasting group(n=665).The CFD group received 400 mL of maltodextrin orally 2.h before ERCP,while the control group abstained from food/water overnight(>6 h)before *** ERCP procedures were performed using deep sedation with intravenous *** investigators were blinded but not the *** primary outcomes included postoperative fatigue and abdominal pain score,and the secondary outcomes included complications and changes in metabolic *** outcomes were analyzed according to a modified intention-to-treat ***:The post-ERCP fatigue scores were significantly lower at 4 h(4.1±2.6 vs.4.8±2.8,t=4.2.,P1)and 2. h(2.4±2.1 vs.3.4±2.4,t=7.94,P1)in the CFD group,with least-squares mean differences of 0.48(95%confidence interval[CI]:0.2.-0.71,P1)and 0.76(95%CI:0.57-0.95,P1),*** 4-h pain scores(2.1±1.7 vs.2.2.1.7,t=2.60,P=0.009,with a least-squares mean difference of 0.2.[95%CI:0.05-0.37])and positive urine ketone levels(7.7%[39/509]vs.15.4%[82.533],χ^(2.=15.13,P1)were lower in the CFD *** CFD group had significantly less cholangitis(2.1%[13/634]vs.4.0%[2./658],χ^(2.=3.99,P=0.046)but not pancreatitis(5.5%[35/634]vs.6.5%[43/658],χ^(2.=0.59,P=0.444).Subgroup analysis revealed that CFD reduced the incidence of complications in patients with native papilla(odds ratio[OR]:0.61,95%CI:0.39-0.95,P=0.02.)in the multivariable ***:Ingesting 400 mL of CFD 2.h before ERCP is safe,with a reduction in post-ERCP fatigue,

目的探索胎儿心脏介入治疗(FCI)对于胎儿危重型先天性心脏病的可行性及短期疗效。方法纳入2.18年8月至2.2.年5月在宫内诊治中心进行FCI的所有患儿的临床资料,包括围产期至出生后基本信息、FCI手术信息、胎儿超声心动图信息等,追踪病例至出生后3月,分析FCI技术的可行性、有效性及安全性。结果纳入胎儿7例,其中5例实施FCI手术,手术成功率100%(5/5),包括2.重度主动脉瓣狭窄(CAS)和3例室间隔完整型肺动脉闭锁(PA/IVS)。手术时的中位孕周为2.^(+2.(2.^(+6)~32.(+4))周。5例胎儿FCI术后的超声心动图指标均获得明显改善。5例胎儿均足月出生,中位出生胎龄39^(+2.(38~39^(+4))周。生后2.CAS患儿行外科主动脉瓣成形术,3例PA/IVS患儿完成经皮肺动脉瓣球囊扩张术。1例心功能不全CAS患儿于新生儿期死亡,4例随访中,预后良好。结论FCI是一项安全、有效的技术,有望改善危重型先天性心脏病的预后。
