Magnetic-liquid double suspension bearing(MLDSB)is a new type of suspension bearing based on electromagnetic suspension and supplemented by hydrostatic *** affecting the electromagnetic suspension force,the hydrostatic supporting effect is increased,and the real-time coupling of magnetic and liquid supporting can be ***,due to the high rotation speed,the rotor part produces eddy current loss,resulting in a large temperature rise and large ther-mal deformation,which makes the oil film thickness deviate from the initial *** support and bearing characteristics are seriously ***,this paper intends to explore the internal effects of eddy current loss of the rotor on the temperature rise and thermal deformation of ***,the 2D magnetic flow coupling mathematical model of MLDSB is established,and the eddy current loss distribution characteristics of the rotor are numerically simulated by Maxwell ***,the internal influence of mapping relationship of structural operating parameters such as input current,coil turns and rotor speed on rotor eddy current loss is revealed,and the changing trend of rotor eddy current loss under different design parameters is ***,the eddy cur-rent loss is loaded into the heat transfer finite element calculation model as a heat source,and the temperature rise of the rotor and its thermal deformation are simulated and analyzed,and the influ-ence of eddy current loss on rotor temperature rise and thermal deformation is ***,the pressure-flow curve and the distribution law of the internal flow field are tested by the particle image velocimetry(PIV)*** results show that eddy current loss increases linearly with the in-crease of coil current,coil turns and rotor *** effect of rotational speed on eddy current loss is much higher than that of coil current and coil *** maximum temperature rise,minimum temperature rise and maximum thermal defo

BACKGROUND Although accurately evaluating the overall survival(OS)of gastric cancer patients remains difficult,radiomics is considered an important option for studying *** To develop a robust and unbiased biomarker for predicting OS using machine learning and computed tomography(CT)image *** This study included 181 stage II/III gastric cancer patients,141 from Lichuan People's Hospital,and 40 from the Cancer Imaging Archive(TCIA).Primary tumors in the preoperative unenhanced CT images were outlined as regions of interest(ROI),and approximately 1700 radiomics features were extracted from each *** skeletal muscle index(SMI)and skeletal muscle density(SMD)were measured using CT images from the lower margin of the third lumbar *** the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator regression with 5-fold cross-validation,36 radiomics features were identified as important predictors,and the OS-associated CT image radiomics score(OACRS)was cal-culated for each patient using these important *** Patients with a high OACRS had a poorer prognosis than those with a low OACRS score(P<0.05)and those in the TCIA *** and multivariate analyses revealed that OACRS was a risk factor[RR=3.023(1.896-4.365),P<0.001]independent of SMI,SMD,and pathological ***,OACRS outperformed SMI and SMD and could improve OS prediction(P<0.05).CONCLUSION A novel biomarker based on machine learning and radiomics was developed that exhibited exceptional OS discrimination potential.

CeO_(2) with excellent oxygen storage-exchange capacity and NiO with excellent surface activity were used to construct a heterogeneous NiO-CeO_(2)−δhollow multi-shelled structure(HoMS)by spray *** turned out that as the proportion of CeO_(2) increases,the overpotential and Tafel slope of NiO-CeO_(2)−δHoMSs first decreased and then *** is mainly because the construction of the NiO-CeO_(2)−δHoMSs not only increases the specific surface area,but also introduces oxygen vacancy defects,thus improving the interface charge transfer capability of the materials and further improving the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)***,the increase of the calcination temperature will induce the decay of the OER performance of NiO-CeO_(2)−δHoMSs,which is mainly due to the decrease of the specific surface area,the reduction of oxygen vacancy defects,and the weakening of interface charge transfer ***,a series of heterogeneous composite HoMSs,such as Ni/Co,Mo/Ni,Al/Ni and Fe/Ni oxides was successfully constructed by spray drying,which enriched the diversity of HoMSs.

Accurate simulation of lightning-induced overvoltage for overhead distribution lines is helpful to prevent lightning trip *** electromagnetic return-stroke model was used to represent lightning and then a 3D finite-difference time-domain(FDTD)method was adopted to simulate the lightning-induced overvoltage on a distribution line without a field-line coupling *** lightning-induced overvoltage behave for different ground conductivity and varying distance between the distribution line and the lightning channel was *** results showed that the overvoltage waveforms at the centre point of the line corresponding to lightning strikes on the lossy ground and an ideal ground(σ=∞)were similar;however,the peak amplitudes of the waveform were affected by soil conductivity at a close *** relationship between magnitude of the overvoltage and distance can be described by a second-order exponential decay ***,the overvoltage calculated using the proposed model was compared with those obtained based on Agrawal's model and measurements made using the newly developed intelligent insulator on *** these comparisons,it could be concluded that the FDTD method with the electromagnetic return-stroke model produces reasonably accurate results of the attenuated oscillation waveform,which can better reproduce the overvoltage on operational distribution lines.

Electrochemical water splitting plays a crucial role in storing sustainable energy into H2 as an ideal fuel,in which the anodic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is the ***,Fe-doped NiOOH(Ni_(1−x)Fe_(x)OOH)is a promising OER catalyst under alkaline ***,the specific active sites responsible for their good performances remain ***,we identify a nickel-oxygen radical(Ni–O·)and an iron-oxo(Fe=O)group as two essential states for adsorbed ***,both thermochemical O–O coupling and electrochemical OER elementary steps are considered on the Ni_(1−x)Fe_(x)OOH *** mechanistic studies with a combined density functional theory simulation and experimental analysis unravel that both the Ni and Fe centers can act as the active sites for the defective Ni_(1−x)Fe_(x)OOH to catalyze OER,depending on the nature of the *** presence of Fe can benefit the stabilization of the defective surface and influence the electronic property of the nearby Ni *** work not only identifies the intrinsic active sites of Ni_(1−x)Fe_(x)OOH,but also illustrates the essential roles of defects in catalysis,which sheds light on the design of more efficient OER catalysts in the future.
