In this paper, the data-based control problem is investigated for a class of networked nonlinear systems with measurement noise as well as packet dropouts in the feedback and forward channels. The measurement noise and the number of consecutive packet dropouts in both channels are assumed to be random but bounded. A data-based networked predictive control method is proposed, in which a sequence of control increment predictions are calculated in the controller based on the measured output error, and based on the control increment predictions received by the actuator, a proper control action is obtained and applied to the plant according to the real-time number of consecutive packet dropouts at each sampling instant. Then the stability analysis is performed for the networked closedloop system. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated by a numerical example.

A constrained model predictive control （MPC） algorithm for networked control system with data packet dropout is proposed in this paper. A buffer is designed to store the predicted control sequence between controller and actuator. It is shown that if the control horizon of MPC is not less than the number of data packets lost continuously, feasibility of MPC at initial time implies asymptotical stability of the closed-loop system. A simulation example illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Existing power and rate control methods for wireless communication networks aim to maximize the system capacity and the network throughput, and attempt to increase the quality-of-service（QoS）, but cannot guarantee the QoS. This paper presents a new power and rate control method for wireless communication networks, which is based on the priority of QoS, so the QoS can be guaranteed. A dual closed-loop power and rate controller is designed. The transmission rate is controlled by the outer loop, the target transmission rate is obtained（thus the optimal target signal-to-inference ratio（SIR） can relatively be determined） based on the priority of QoS. According to the target SIR, the transmit power is controlled by the inner loop to make the actual SIR track the target one. Simulation results show that the proposed power and rate control method has good control performance.

This paper considers adaptive fault-tolerant power and rate control for wireless communication networks with transmitter faults, parameter uncertainties and bounded external disturbances. The adaptive fault-tolerant controller parameters are updated automatically through the on-line estimation of eventual faults to compensate for the fault effect on the network. It is proved that the resulting adaptive closed-loop system is uniformly bounded stable based on Lyapunov approach. Simulation results are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller.

During the past few decades, pyroelectric sensors have attracted extensiveattention due to their prominent features. However, their effectiveness is hinderedby low electric output. In this study, the laser processed lithium niobate(LPLN) wafers are fabricated to improve the temperature–voltage *** processed wafers are utilized to construct pyroelectric sensors as well ashuman–machine interfaces. The laser induces escape of oxygen and the formationof oxygen vacancies, which enhance the charge transport capability on thesurface of lithium niobate (LN). Therefore, the electrodes gather an increasedquantity of charges, increasing the pyroelectric voltage on the LPLN wafers toa 1.3 times higher voltage than that of LN wafers. For the human–machineinterfaces, tactile information in various modes can be recognized by a sensorarray and the temperature warning system operates well. Therefore, the lasermodification approach is promising to enhance the performance of pyroelectricdevices for applications in human–machine interfaces.

In this paper,the fault tolerant control with the consideration of actuator fault for quantized feedback control systems is addressed.A fault tolerant control design method is proposed for quantized systems with logarithmic static quantizer.A robust fault tolerant control with H∞ performance for quantied system with external energy-bounded disturbance is also provided.A Numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method.
