Low-Rank Optimal Transport for Robust Domain Adaptation

When encountering the distribution shift between the source(training) and target(test) domains, domain adaptation attempts to adjust the classifiers to be capable of dealing with different domains. Previous domain adaptation research has achieved a lot of success both in theory and practice under the assumption that all the examples in the source domain are welllabeled and of high quality. However, the methods consistently lose robustness in noisy settings where data from the source domain have corrupted labels or features which is common in reality. Therefore, robust domain adaptation has been introduced to deal with such problems. In this paper, we attempt to solve two interrelated problems with robust domain adaptation:distribution shift across domains and sample noises of the source domain. To disentangle these challenges, an optimal transport approach with low-rank constraints is applied to guide the domain adaptation model training process to avoid noisy information influence. For the domain shift problem, the optimal transport mechanism can learn the joint data representations between the source and target domains using a measurement of discrepancy and preserve the discriminative information. The rank constraint on the transport matrix can help recover the corrupted subspace structures and eliminate the noise to some extent when dealing with corrupted source data. The solution to this relaxed and regularized optimal transport framework is a convex optimization problem that can be solved using the Augmented Lagrange Multiplier method, whose convergence can be mathematically proved. The effectiveness of the proposed method is evaluated through extensive experiments on both synthetic and real-world datasets.

Elucidating the temporal process of immune remodeling under immunosuppressive treatment after liver transplantation(LT)is critical for precise clinical management strategies.Here,we performed a single-cell multi-omics analysis of peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs)collected from LT patients(with and without acute cellular rejection[ACR])at 13 time points.Validation was performed in two independent cohorts with additional LT patients and healthy controls.Our study revealed a four-phase recovery process after LT and delineated changes in immune cell composition,expression programs,and interactions along this process.The intensity of the immune response differs between the ACR and non-ACR patients.Notably,the newly identified inflamed NK cells,CD14+RNASE2+monocytes,and FOS-expressing monocytes emerged as predictive indicators of ACR.This study illuminates the longitudinal evolution of the immune cell landscape under tacrolimus-based immunosuppressive treatment during LT recovery,providing a four-phase framework that aids the clinical management of LT patients.

Preparation of α-High Strength Gypsum from Flue Gas Desulfurization Gypsum Pretreated by Hydrothermal-aging Method

The synthesis of α-calcium sulfate hemihydrate (α-CSH) from flue gas desulfurization (FGD)gypsum is a good way to realize the comprehensive utilization of FGD gypsum. To obtainα-CSH with the satisfactory performances, a facile hydrothermal-aging pretreatment process for FGD gypsum raw materials was proposed, where FGD gypsum was firstly hydrothermally converted to α-CSH whiskers, and α-CSH whiskers were further hydrated to synthesize CaSO4·2H2O (CSD) by aging under the regulation of N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide (MBA). The effects of aging time, MBA addition, aging temperature, and pH on the morphology of the synthesized CSD were investigated. The synthesized CSD crystals exhibit highly uniform prismatic morphology with the length of ca 100μm and the whiteness of 91.56%. The regulation mechanism of MBA was also illustrated. The synthesized CSD crystals with prismatic morphology were further used as raw materials to synthesize the short columnar α-CSH. The absolute dry compressive strength of paste prepared from the short columnar α-CSH is 40.85 MPa, which reaches α40 strength grade.

Velocity forecasts using a combined deep learning model in hybrid electric vehicles with V2V and V2I communication

Vehicle velocity forecast is an important clue in improving the performance of energy management in hybrid electric vehicles(HEV). This paper presents a new combined model for predicting vehicle’s velocity time series. The main features of the model are to combine the feature extraction capability of deep restricted Boltzmann machines(DBM) and sequence pattern predicting capability of bidirectional long short-term memory(BLSTM). Hence, the model is named as DBMBLSTM. In addition, the DRMBLSTM model utilizes the vehicle driving information and roadside infrastructure information provided respectively through vehicle-to-vehicle(V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure(V2I) communication channels to predict vehicle velocity at various length of prediction horizon. Furthermore, the predictions results of this study are compared with the state of the art of vehicle velocity forecasts. The root mean square error(RMSE) is used as an evaluation criteria of predictions accuracy. Finally,these compared prediction model are applied in model predictive control(MPC) energy management strategy for the verifications of fuel economy improvement of a HEV. Simulation results confirm that the proposed combined deep learning model performs better than other five prediction methods. Therefore, it is a means of arriving at a reliable forecast model for HEV.

背景:有研究显示在急性颅脑损伤小鼠模型中,以药物激活沉默信息调节因子1的转录和翻译水平后能明显升高脑组织中沉默信息调节因子1的表达,降低脑组织炎症应激和氧化应激水平,改善神经功能。目的:探讨腹腔注射沉默信息调节因子1激活剂SRT1720减轻大鼠急性颅脑损伤的机制。方法:取90只SD大鼠,采用随机数字表法分为3组,每组30只:假手术组不造模;模型组、激活剂组建立急性颅脑损伤模型,6 h后假手术组、模型组、激活剂组分别腹腔注射二甲亚砜溶液、二甲亚砜溶液、SRT1720,1次/d,连续注射28 d。设定取材时间点,检测大鼠神经功能、脑组织含水量、脑组织氧化应激与炎症反应、脑组织形态、细胞凋亡与血管新生以及脑组织中沉默信息调节因子1蛋白表达。结果与结论:①注射7,14,28 d时,与假手术组比较,模型组大鼠改良神经功能缺损评分、脑组织含水量及细胞凋亡率均升高(P<0.05);与模型组比较,激活剂组大鼠改良神经功能缺损评分、脑组织含水量及细胞凋亡率均降低(P<0.05);②注射7,14,28 d时,与假手术组比较,模型组大鼠脑组织中活性氧自由基、髓过氧化物酶水平升高(P<0.05),血清中丙二醛、肿瘤坏死因子α和白细胞介素6水平升高(P<0.05),血清中超氧化物歧化酶水平降低(P<0.05);与模型组比较,激活剂组大鼠大鼠脑组织中活性氧自由基、髓过氧化物酶水平降低(P<0.05),血清中丙二醛、肿瘤坏死因子α和白细胞介素6水平降低(P<0.05),血清中超氧化物歧化酶水平升高(P<0.05);③注射7,14,28 d的免疫组化染色显示,模型组大鼠脑组织中新生血管数量多于假手术组(P<0.05),激活剂组大鼠脑组织中新生血管数量多于模型组(P<0.05);注射7,14,28 d的Western blot检测显示,模型组大鼠脑组织中沉默信息调节因子1蛋白表达低于假手术组(P<0.05),激活剂组大鼠脑组织中沉默信息调节因子1蛋白表达高于模型组(P<0.05);注射7,14,28 d的苏木精-伊红染色显示,激活剂组大鼠脑组织损伤程度轻于模型组;④结果表明,腹腔注射SRT1720通过下调急性颅脑损伤大鼠脑组织氧化和炎性应激水平、抑制神经细胞凋亡、促进血管新生来减轻脑组织损伤。

人类活动极大地改变了河流的水文过程,随着全球水能资源开发利用强度的提高,与水有关的生态环境问题日益突出。呼兰河是松花江左岸的一级支流,是流域内居民用水与农田灌溉的主要水源地,呼兰河的生态安全对流域的经济发展和农业安全有着重大影响。为了确定在不同标准下呼兰河流域的生态流量,利用SWAT模型,模拟呼兰河流域的天然径流过程与实际径流过程并进行生态补水研究。结果表明,呼兰河流域的开发利用程度较大,人类活动影响下其径流空间的分布格局有所变化;呼兰河80%以上区域的生态流量需求都满足Tennant法中“好”的标准等级;汛期的生态流量需求远大于非汛期;非汛期的缺水程度大于汛期,应在非汛期进行跨流域调水以防止出现河道断流的情况。量化了呼兰河各子流域的生态流量保证程度,能够为呼兰河的开发与利用提供理论指导。

Fuzzy-Immune PID Control for AMB Systems

In order to improve the dynamic performance of active magnetic hearing systems with highly nonlinear and naturally unstable dynamics, a new nonlinear fuzzy-immune proportional integral-derivative （PID） controller is proposed by combining the immune feedback law with linear PID con trol. This controller consists of a PID controller and a basic immune proportional controller in cascaded connection, the nonlinear function of the immune proportional controller is realized by using fuzzy reasoning. Simulation results demon strate that the active magnetic bearing system with the proposed controller has better dynamic performance and disturbance rejection ability than using the linear PID controller.

基因编辑技术是一种对目的基因进行特定修饰的技术,被广泛应用于生物育种、疾病模型构建等研究领域。CRISPR/Cas9系统由重复和间隔单元组成的CRISPR阵列和一个Cas基因座位组成,能够对生物体性状进行目的基因定点编辑,具有简单、精确且高效的特点。CRISPR/Cas9基因编辑技术通过引入基因敲除、基因敲入、缺失、点突变和单核苷酸突变等不同形式的修饰广泛应用于畜禽的基因编辑,以研究畜禽关键基因功能,从而加速性状改良。相较于猪、鸡等其他畜禽,CRISPR/Cas9技术对羊的研究相对滞后。文章重点阐述了CRISPR/Cas9基因编辑技术在羊育种功能基因验证中的应用,对其在产肉性状、纤维性状、泌乳性状和人类疾病模型等方面的应用研究进展及前景进行了简要概述,以期为我国羊产业的可持续发展提供参考。

为探讨组织支持感与特殊教育教师教学正念之间的关系,并考察相对剥夺感的中介作用及教龄的调节作用,采用问卷法对373名特殊教育教师进行调查,结果显示:(1)组织支持感显著正向预测特殊教育教师的教学正念;(2)相对剥夺感在组织支持感与特殊教育教师的教学正念间起部分中介作用;(3)教龄在特殊教育教师组织支持感与相对剥夺感中起调节作用,且组织支持感对相对剥夺感的负向预测作用只在教龄较短的特殊教育教师群体中显著。据此,组织应从加强工具性支持、强化情感性支持、助推个性化支持三方面入手,以期提升特殊教育教师的教学质量。
