This paper develops a moderated mediation model in which the interactive effects of food traceability and environmental dynamism on firm performance are mediated by the core capabilities(operating capabilities and marketing capabilities)in food supply chain context, by invoking the indirect view of organizational learning theory. Our hypotheses were tested using hierarchical regression and bootstrapping methods with a sample of 216 food manufacturing firms in China, and a survey-based, two-informant design was used to collect data. The results revealed that operating and marketing capabilities fully mediate the food traceability-performance link. In addition, environmental dynamism positively moderates the food traceability-core capabilities link. moreover, it is found that operating and marketing capabilities transform the interactive impacts of environmental dynamism and food traceability into firm performance. Our study offers a fine-grained picture of the essential food traceability-performance link by revealing for the first time that there is an interactive impacts of food traceability and environmental dynamism on firm performance via core capabilities.

In this study, 5052 steel were joined by a new way aluminum alloy and Q235 of arc milling brazing, with the Zn15%A1 filler metal and no use of flux. Effect of rotation speed on mechanical properties and microstructure of joint interface was investigated. The results show that increasing rotation speed is in favor of formation of weld and spread of filler metal on substrate. The fine grain with homogeneous composition in brazed seam can be realized by the stronger stirring in pool induced by milling at more higher rotation speed. And, a composite joint reinforced with needle-like or block-like Fe-A1-Zn intermetallic compounds （IMCs） particle can be obtained by arc milling brazing, which comes from the reaction between steel scrape and Zn-A1 filler alloy. The test on strength of joint interface shows that with the increase in rotation speed, there is a peak value in variation ranges of strength of joint interface. This is to say, when rotation speed is 2720 ***-~, the strength of joint has maximum value （182.01 MPa）. moreover, a thin and discontinuous IMCs layer at joint interface can be obtained by increasing rotation speed. But at a low or high rotation speed, there also is a crack at joint interface, which weakens the strength of joint interface. Only at 2720 ***-1, a good joint interface without an obvious crack can be realized.

How to efficiently measure the distance between two basic probability assignments（BPAs） is an open issue. In this paper, a new method to measure the distance between two BPAs is proposed, based on two existing measures of evidence distance. The new proposed method is comprehensive and generalized. Numerical examples are used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Research concerning senescence has become a hotspot since the conception of ＇cellular senescence＇ was put forward by Drs. Hayflick and moorhead over five decades ago [1]. Recently, a paper published in Science by Kang and colleagues, which this article aims to comment on, provides evidence of a new pathway involved in senescence [2]. Senescence is a physiological and pathological process induced by numerous factors, during which cell growth ceases and gene expression alters. As can be imagined, such state protects against the development of cancer and plays an important role in tissue repair [3]. On the other hand, senescence is involved in many other processes such as aging and neurodegenerative disease [4-6]. Anaerobic sludge from a sewage treatment plant was used to acclimatize microbial colonies capable of anaerobic oxidation of methane(AOM) coupled to sulfate reduction. Clone libraries and fluorescence in situ hybridization were used to investigate the microbial ***-reducing bacteria(SRB)(e.g., Desulfotomaculum arcticum and Desulfobulbus propionicus)and anaerobic methanotrophic archaea(ANME)(e.g., Methanosaeta sp. and Methanolinea sp.)coexisted in the enrichment. The archaeal and bacterial cells were randomly or evenly distributed throughout the consortia. Accompanied by sulfate reduction, methane was oxidized anaerobically by the consortia of methane-oxidizing archaea and SRB. moreover, CH_4 and SO_4^(2-) were consumed by methanotrophs and sulfate reducers with CO_2 and H_2S as products. The H_3CSH produced by methanotrophy was an intermediate product during the process. The methanotrophic enrichment was inoculated in a down-flow biofilter for the treatment of methane and H_2S from a landfill site. On average, 93.33% of H_2S and 10.71% of methane was successfully reduced in the biofilter. This study tries to provide effective method for the synergistic treatment of waste gas containing sulfur compounds and CH_4.

The posttranscriptional addition of nontemplated nucleotides to the 3′ ends of RNA molecules can have a significant impact on their stability and biological function. It has been recently discovered that nontemplated addition of uridine or adenosine to the 3′ ends of RNAs occurs in different organisms ranging from algae to humans, and on different kinds of RNAs, such as histone m RNAs, m RNA fragments, U6 sn RNA, mature small RNAs and their precursors etc. These modifications may lead to different outcomes, such as increasing RNA decay, promoting or inhibiting RNA processing, or changing RNA activity. Growing pieces of evidence have revealed that such modifications can be RNA sequence-specific and subjected to temporal or spatial regulation in development. RNA tailing and its outcomes have been associated with human diseases such as cancer. Here, we review recent developments in RNA uridylation and adenylation and discuss the future prospects in this research area.

Conventional manipulators with rigid structures and sti ness actuators have poor flexibility,limited obstacle avoidance capability,and constrained *** developed flexible or soft manipulators in recent years have the characteristics of infinite degrees of freedom,high flexibility,environmental adaptability,and extended manipulation ***,these existing manipulators still cannot achieve the shrinking motion and independent control of specified segments like the animals,which hinders their *** this paper,a flexible bio-tensegrity manipulator,inspired by the longitudinal and transversal muscles of octopus tentacles,was proposed to mimic the shrinking behavior and achieve the variable motion patterns of each *** proposed manipulator uses the elastic spring as the backbone,which is driven by four cables and has one variable structure mechanism in each segment to achieve the independent control of each *** variable structure mechanism innovatively contains seven lock-release states to independently control the bending and shrinking motion of each *** the kinematic modeling and analysis,one prototype of such bionic flexible manipulator was built and the open-loop control method was *** proof-of-concept experiments,including the shrinking motion,bending motion,and variable structure motion,were carried out by controlling the length of four cables and changing the lock-release states of the variable structure mechanism,which validate the feasibility and validity of our proposed ***,the experimental results show the flexible manipulator can accomplish the bending and shrinking motion with the relative error less than 6.8%through the simple independent control of each segment using the variable structure *** proposed manipulator has the features of controllable degree-of-freedom in each segment,which extend their environmental adaptability,and manipulation capability.
