The study of photonic sintering has gained interest based on the advantages of fast processing at room ***,printed electronics made from photonic sintering with an intensive pulsed light(IPL)energy source exhibit more mechanical instability than those made from conventional thermal sintering *** solve the mechanical instability problems,we fabricated Ag flake hybrid pastes with a variety of concentrations of Ag flake(0,25,50,75,and 100 wt.%).All of the screen-printed hybrid Ag circuits were fabricated on polyimide substrates and were sintered at 3.5 *** porosity was analyzed using the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller *** IPC(Packaging Electronic Circuits)sliding test was performed to analyze the flexibility of the screen-printed Ag flake hybrid *** adhesion strength of the hybrid circuits was evaluated with a roll-type 90°peel *** hybrid Ag printed circuit showed improvements in both the flexibility and adhesion strength with the addition of Ag flake.

Hierarchical core-shell-like MnO2 nanostructures （NSs） were used to anchor MnO2 hexagonal nanoplate arrays （HNPAs） on carbon cloth （CC） fibers. The NSs were prepared by a novel one-step electrochemical deposition method. Under an external cathodic voltage of -2.0 V for 30 min, hierarchical core-shell-like MnO2-NS-decorated MnO2 HNPAs （MnO2 NSs@MnO2 HNPAs） were uniformly grown on CC with reliable adhesion. The phase purity and morphological properties of the samples were characterized by various physicochemical techniques. At a constant external cathodic voltage, growth of MnO2 NSs@MnO2 HNPAs on CC was carried for different time periods. When utilized as a flexible, robust, and binder-free electrode for pseudocapacitors, the hierarchical core-shell-like MnO2 NSs@MnO2 HNPAs on CC showed clearly enhanced electrochemical properties in 1 M Na2SO4 electrolyte solution. The results indicate that the MnO2 NSs@MnO2 HNPAs on CC have a maximum specific capacitance of 244.54 F/g at a current density of 0.5 A/g with excellent cycling stability compared to that of bare MnO2 HNPAs on CC （112.1 F/g at 0.5 A/g current density）. We believe that the superior charge storage performance of the pseudocapacitive electrode can be mainly attributed to the hierarchical MnO2 NSs@MnO2 HNPAs building blocks that have a large specific surface area, offering additional electroactive sites for efficient electrochemical reactions. The facile and single-step approach to growth of hierarchical pseudocapacitive materials on textile based electrodes opens up the possibility for the fabrication of high-performance flexible energy storage devices.

OBJECTIVE:To develop and validate a Seven Emotions Impairment questionnaire(SEIQ),to define an optimum cut-off point for the SEIQ,and to examine whether SEI was predictive of Phlegm and Blood Stasis(BS).METHODS:Two hundred outpatients and 75 college students were asked to complete the SEIQ,the Profile of Mood States(POMS),Phlegm Pattern Questionnaire(PPQ),and BS Questionnaire(BSQ).Twelve clinicians determined whether the outpatients exhibited *** data were used to examine the internal consistency and determine validity for the ***,POMS,PPQ,and BSQ data were used to examine concurrent validity and predictability of SEI for Phlegm and BS in the college *** SEIQ scores and the clinicians' diagnoses of the outpatients were considered to define an optimum cut-off score for the ***:The 18-item SEIQ had satisfactory internal consistency(α = 0.905) and concurrent *** the construct validity test,four factors(chest-anxiety,fatigue-depression,working-family-troubles,and sleep-memory) were *** the receiver operator characteristic curve curve analysis,the sensitivity,specificity,and area under the curve of the SEIQ were 67.2%,72.1%,and 73%,*** optimum cut-off score was defined as nine *** scores were strongly predictive of Phlegm and BS(β = 0.862 and 0.673,respectively).CONCLUSION:Based on our results,we concluded that the SEIQ is a reliable and valid instrument for evaluating SEI,and is strongly predictive of Phlegm and BS.

Background: Hepatic epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (HEH) is a rare tumor of vascular origin with an unknown etiology, a low incidence, and a variable natural course. We evaluated the management and prognosis of HEH from the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) program and changes in treatment modalities of HEH over 30 years. Methods: From 1973 to 2014 in the SEER database, we selected patients diagnosed with HEH. We analyzed the clinical characteristics, patterns of management, and clinical outcomes of patients with HEH. Results: We identi ed 79 patients with HEH (median age: 54.0 years;male to female ratio: 1:2.6). The initial extent of disease was local in 22 (27.8%) patients, regional metastasis in 22 (27.8%), distant metas-tasis in 31 (39.2%) and unknown in 4 (5.1%). The median size of primary tumor was 3.85 cm (interquartile range, 2.50 7.93 cm). Among 74 patients with available management data, the most common manage-ment was no treatment (29/74, 39.2%), followed by chemotherapy only (22/74, 29.7%), liver resection-based (13/74, 17.6%), and transplantation-based therapy (6/74, 8.1%). The 5-year cancer-speci c survival rate was 57.8%. Patients who underwent surgical treatment had signi cantly higher survival than those who underwent non-surgical treatment (5-year survival;88% vs. 49%, P=0.019). Multivariate analysis revealed that surgical therapy was the only independent prognostic factor for survival (hazard ratio: 0.20, P=0.040). Conclusions: Resection or liver transplantation is worth considering for treatment of patients with HEH.

In this study,the structural control strategy utilizing a passive tuned mass damper(TMD)system as a seismic damping device is outlined,highlighting the parametric optimization approach for displacement and acceleration *** theory of stationary random processes and complex frequency response functions are explained and *** the vibration control of an undamped structure,the optimal parameters of a TMD,such as the optimal tuning frequency and optimal damping ratio,to stationary Gaussian white noise acceleration are investigated by using a parametric optimization *** damped structures,a numerical searching technique is used to obtain the optimal parameters of the TMD,and then the explicit formulae for these optimal parameters are derived through a sequence of curve-fitting *** these specified optimal parameters,several different controlled responses are examined,and then the displacement and acceleration based control effectiveness indices of the TMD are examined from the view point of RMS *** the viewpoint of the RMS values of displacement and acceleration,the optimal TMDs adopted in this study shows clear performance improvements for the simplified model examined,and this means that the effective optimization of the TMD has a good potential as a customized target response-based structural strategy.

Intracellular cAMP and Ca^2＋ are involved in the regulation of steroidogenic activity in Leydig cells, which coordinate responses to luteinizing hormone （LH） and human ehorionic gonadotropin （hCG）. However, the identification of Ca^2＋ entry implicated in Leydig cell steroidogenesis is not well defined. The objective of this study was to identify the type of Ca^2＋ channel that affects Leydig cell steroidogenesis. In vitro steroidogenesis in the freshly dissociated Leydig cells of mice was induced by hCG incubation. The effects of mibefradil （a putative T-type Ca^2＋ channel blocker） on steroidogenesis were assessed using reverse transcription （RT）-polymerase chain reaction analysis for the steroidogenic acute regulatory protein （STAR） mRNA expression and testosterone production using radioimmunoassay. In the presence of 1.0 mmol L-1 extracellular Ca^2＋, hCG at 1 to 100 IU noticeably elevated both StAR mRNA level and testosterone secretion （P 〈 0.05）, and the stimulatory effects of hCG were markedly diminished by mibefradil in a dose-dependent manner （P 〈 0.05）. Moreover; the hCG-induced increase in testosterone production was completely removed when external Ca^2＋ was omitted, implying that Ca entry is needed for hCG-induced steroidogenesis. Furthermore, a patch-clamp study revealed the presence of mibefradil-sensitive Ca^24- currents seen at a concentration range that nearly paralleled those inhibiting steroidogenesis. Collectively, Our data provide evidence that hCG-stimulated steroidogenesis is mediated at least in part by Ca^2＋ entry carried out by the T-type Ca^2＋ channel in the Leydig cells of mice.

Dear Editor,Antibiotics are considered indispensable in numerous treatments against infectious ***,their over-prescription and widespread use are emerging as important global issues,as they lead to resistant bacteria,reducing the efficacy of antibiotics[1].The defined daily doses per 1,000 habitants per day for antibiotics in South Korea is 28,which is much higher than the average of Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development countries[1].In animal studies,antibiotic tigecycline was found to inhibit the proliferation and induce apoptosis of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)cells[2].In addition,isoprenoid antibiotic was found to suppress the growth and invasion of HCC by targeting the signal transducer and activator of the transcription 3 signaling cascade[3].Despite evidence of the beneficial effects of antibiotics against HCC,evidence regarding their effects on the longterm development of HCC is *** regarding the incidence of HCC is provided in the Supplementary file.
