Aortic dissection(AD)is a potentially devastating cardiovascular disease ***,given the low incidence of AD(2.5 to 3.5 cases per 100,000person-years),the diagnosis of this disease remains relatively difficult in emergency settings.[1,2]Computed tomography aortogram(CTA)is the most commonly used diagnostic tool,which is an invasive investigation with renal impairment and is cost *** are lots of patients at low or moderate risk of AD,which may be no need for CTA *** a result,validated clinical strategies beyond clinical judgment are needed to manage patients with suspected AD.

Railway switch machine is essential for maintaining the safety and punctuality of train operations.A data-driven fault diagnosis scheme for railway switch machine using tensor machine and multi-representation monitoring data is developed *** existing methods,this approach takes into account the spatial information of the time series monitoring data,aligning with the domain expertise of on-site manual ***,a multi-sensor fusion tensor machine is designed to improve single signal data’s limitations in insufficient ***,one-dimensional signal data is preprocessed and transformed into two-dimensional ***,the fusion feature tensor is created by utilizing the images of the three-phase current and employing the CANDE-COMP/PARAFAC(CP)decomposition ***,the tensor learning-based model is built using the extracted fusion feature *** developed fault diagnosis scheme is valid with the field three-phase current *** experiment indicates an enhanced performance of the developed fault diagnosis scheme over the current approach,particularly in terms of recall,precision,and F1-score.

Peripheral nerve injury is a common neurological condition that often leads to severe functional limitations and *** on the pathogenesis of peripheral nerve injury has focused on pathological changes at individual injury sites,neglecting multilevel pathological analysis of the overall nervous system and target *** has led to restrictions on current therapeutic *** this paper,we first summarize the potential mechanisms of peripheral nerve injury from a holistic perspective,covering the central nervous system,peripheral nervous system,and target *** peripheral nerve injury,the cortical plasticity of the brain is altered due to damage to and regeneration of peripheral nerves;changes such as neuronal apoptosis and axonal demyelination occur in the spinal *** nerve will undergo axonal regeneration,activation of Schwann cells,inflammatory response,and vascular system regeneration at the injury *** damage to target organs can occur,including skeletal muscle atrophy and sensory receptor *** then provide a brief review of the research advances in therapeutic approaches to peripheral nerve *** main current treatments are conducted passively and include physical factor rehabilitation,pharmacological treatments,cell-based therapies,and physical ***,most treatments only partially address the problem and cannot complete the systematic recovery of the entire central nervous system-peripheral nervous system-target organ ***,we should further explore multilevel treatment options that produce effective,long-lasting results,perhaps requiring a combination of passive(traditional)and active(novel)treatment methods to stimulate rehabilitation at the central-peripheral-target organ levels to achieve better functional recovery.

We investigate analytically the effect of initial stress in piezoelectric layered structures loaded with viscous liquid on the dispersive and attenuated characteristics of Love waves, which involves a thin piezoelectric layer bonded perfectly to an unbounded elastic substrate. The effects of initial stress in the piezoelectric layer and the viscous coefficient of the liquid on the phase velocity of Love waves are analyzed. Numerical results are presented and discussed. The analytical method and the results can be useful for the design of chemical and biosensing liquid sensors.

The pyogenic liver abscess caused by Clostridium perfringens (C. perfringens ) is a rare, but rapidly fatal infection. It is usually associated with malignancy and immunosuppression. We report the case of 50-year-old lady with the secondary liver metastases from rectal cancer presented with fever and epigastric pain. The identification of Grampositive bacilli septicaemia, the presence of gas-forming liver abscess and massive intravascular hemolysis should lead to the suspicion of C. perfringens infection. Here we review twenty cases published since 1990 and their clinical features are discussed. The importance of "an aggressive treatment policy" with multidisciplinary team approach is emphasized.

Neutral fragments of methane were performed using femetosecond laser at an intensity of 1013-14W/cm2. A new mechanism of neutral dissociation is proposed in this work. The methane molecule is excited to super-excited states,in which it would dissociate into neutral fragments. We made Morse type potential energy surfaces for the super-excited molecules. Furthermore,we investigated the dissociation dy-namics of the super-excited states by using quasi-classical trajectory (QCT) method. The results thus interpret the neutral dissociation of the methane molecule in the ultra-fast laser pulse.

The inertness of synthetic polymer materials and the insufficient mechanical strength of reprocessed decellu-larized extracellular matrix(dECM)limited their promotive efforts on tissue ***,we prepared a hybrid scaffold composed of PCL microfibers and human placental extracellular matrix(pECM)nanofibers by co-electrospinning,which was grafted with heparin and further absorbed with *** hybrid scaffold with improved hemocompatibility firstly switched macrophages to anti-inflammatory phenotype(increased by 18.1%)and then promoted migration,NO production,tube formation of endothelial cells(ECs),and migration and maturation of vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs),and ECM deposition in vitro and in *** coverage rate increased by 8.6%and the thickness of the smooth muscle layer was 1.8 times more than PCL grafts at 12 *** study realized the complementary advantages of synthetic polymer materials and dECM materials,and opened intriguing perspectives for the design and construction of small-diameter vascular grafts(SDVGs)and immune-regulated materials for other tissue regeneration.

Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)and their pyrolytic derivates,displaying diverse chemical compositions and microstructures,pro-vide the infinite potential for preparing high-performance microwave absorption materials(MAMs)and have attracted extensive *** this review,we systematically reviewed the recent progress of MOF-based MAMs,including three types of MOF-based MAMs(MOF-derived metal/carbon nanocomposites,MOF-based hybridization materials and conductive MOF).Besides that,the microwave absorption properties and their related physical and chemical appearance were also *** behalf of synergistic effects between microstructures,dielectric components and magnetic response,the MOF-based MAMs show excellent microwave absorption performance,which is superior to that of traditional single metal,metal alloy and pure carbon-based ***-more,the novel conductive MOF with tunable electrical conductivity shows great potential in MAMs due to the fact that it can dra-matically simplify the synthesis process.
