In this article, exact solutions of Wick-type stochastic Kudryashov–sinelshchikov equation have been obtained by using improved sub-equation method. We have used Hermite transform for transforming the Wick-type stochastic Kudryashov–sinelshchikov equation to deterministic partial differential equation. Also we have applied inverse Hermite transform for obtaining a set of stochastic solutions in the white noise space.

The kinetics of mild steel corrosion in aqueous acetic acid solution has been investigated by weight loss and polarization techniques at 25,35 and 45℃.The weight loss of mild steel at room temperature （25℃） has been found to be quite significant,indicating poor corrosion resistance in acetic *** maximum corrosion rate has been observed in 25% acetic acid solution at all three experimental *** decrease in corrosion rate after attaining a maximum value has been attributed to the deposition of corrosion product on the *** polarization curves exhibit active behaviour at each concentration and temperature with a shift towards higher current density region and increased corrosion rates at higher *** cathodic polarization curves are almost identical irrespective either of the concentration of acetic acid or *** results obtained by both the techniques are in good agreement,while the surface studies s.p.ort the conclusions drawn from the weight loss method.

This.p.per reports a new simple four-dimensional（4 D） hyperjerk chaotic system. The proposed system has only one stable equilibrium point. Hence, its strange attractor belongs to the category of hidden attractors. The proposed system exhibits various dynamical behaviors including chaotic, periodic, stable nature, and coexistence of various attractors. Numerous theoretical and numerical methods are used for the analyses of this system. The chaotic behavior of the new system is validated using circuit implementation. Further, the synchronization of the proposed systems is shown by designing an adaptive integrator backstepping controller. Numerical simulation validates the synchronization strategy.

For planetary surface materials,thermal inertia is the critical property that governs the surface’s daily thermal response and controls diurnal and seasonal surface temperature *** we use the ground measurements made by the MsL Curiosity rover and the Insight lander to determine the thermal inertia of two sites on *** study compares the variation of thermal inertia during and after the Large Dust storm(LDs)of Martian Year(MY)*** determine surface thermal inertia,we derive a simple approximation(using energy balance),which utilizes surface albedo,surface energy flux,and diurnal change in the surface *** average thermal inertia in MY34 is about 39.2%,3.7%,and 3.4%higher than MY35 average thermal inertia for the MsL,Insight(FOV1),and Insight(FOV2),***,the thermal inertia at the Insight(FOV1)is consistently lower by about 20 J·m^(-2)·s^(-1/2)·K^(-1) than the Insight(FOV2)site for all scenarios,indicating variation in the region’s surface *** best-fit surface albedo in MY34(determined using the KRC model)are about 0.08,0.05,and 0.03 higher than MY35 surface albedo for the MsL,Insight(FOV1),and Insight(FOV2),*** increase in both surface albedo and thermal inertia during the LDs indicates that the underlying surface is both more thermally resistant and more reflective than the overlying loose dust.

stochastic point kinetics equations(spKEs) are a system of Ito? stochastic differential equations whose solution has been obtained by higher-order *** this study, a fractional model of spKEs has been analyzed. The efficiency of the proposed higher-order approximation scheme has been discussed in the results section. The solutions of spKEs in the presence of Newtonian temperature feedback have also been provided to further discuss the physical behavior of the fractional model.

Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy （LIBs） technique has been applied to inves- tigate two different types of bacteria, Escherichia coli （B1） and Micrococcus luteus （B2） deposited on glass slides using spectrolaser 7000. LIBs spectra were analyzed using spectrolaser software. LIBs spectrum of glass substrate was compared with bacteria spectra. Ca, Mg, Na, K, p, s, C1, Fe, A1, Mn, Cu, C, H and CN-band appeared in bacterial samples in air. Two carbon lines at 193.02 nm, 247.88 nm and one hydrogen line at 656.28 nm with intensity ratios of 1.9, 1.83 and 1.53 appeared in bacterial samples B1 and B2 respectively. Carbon and hydrogen are the important components of the bio-samples like bacteria and other cancer cells. Investigation on LIBs spectra of the samples in He and Ar atmospheres is also presented. Ni lines appeared only in B2 sample in Ar atmosphere. From the present experimental results we are able to show that LIBs technique has a potential in the identification and discrimination of different types of bacteria.

Nanotechnology is a rapidly growing field in biomedical engineering with references to efficiency, safety, and cost-effective approaches. Herein, the objective of this study was to examine an innovative approach to rapidly synthesis silver nanoparticles from an aqueous extract of medicinal mushroom Ganoderma lucidum (also known as reishi). The structural and dimensional dispersion of the biosynthesized silver nanoparticles from reishi was confirmed by UV-Vis spectrophotometer (UV-Vis) and scanning Electron Microscopy (sEM) analysis. Additionally, the biosynthesized silver nanoparticles from resihi were used to explore their potential antimicrobial activity against staphylococcus aureus and Micrococcus luteus and Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae. The results from this study revealed that the silver nanoparticles mediated by reishi adopted a spherical shape morphology with sizes, less than 100 nm and revealed strong absorption plasmon band at 440 nm. Furthermore, the biosynthesized silver nanoparticles from reishi exhibited antibacterial activity against the tested s. aureus and M. luteus and E. coli and K. pneumoniae by altering their morphology which signifies their biomedical potential.

Black carbon（BC） particles.p.ay a unique and important role in earth’s climate *** was measured（in-situ） in the central part of the Indo-Gangetic plains（IGp） at Varanasi,which is a highly populated and polluted region due to its topography and extensive emission *** annual mean BC mass concentration was 8.92 ± 7.0 μg m-3,with 34%of samples exceeding the average ***,BC was highest during the post-monsoon and winter periods（approximately 18 μg m-3） and lower in the premonsoon/monsoon seasons（approximately 6 μg m-3）.The highest frequency（approximately 46%） observed for BC mass was in the interval from 5 to 10 μg ***,during the post-monsoon season,the most common values（approximately 23%） were between 20 and 25 μg *** nighttime concentrations of BC were approximately twice as much as the daytime values because of lower boundary layer heights at *** Angstrom exponent was significantly positively correlated（0.55） with ground-level BC concentrations,indicating the impact of BC on the columnar aerosol *** estimated mean absorption Angstrom exponent was 1.02 ± 0.08 μg m-3,indicating that the major source of BC was from fossil fuel *** negative correlations between BC mass and meteorological parameters indicate a pronounced effect of atmospheric dynamics on the BC mass in this *** highest mean BC mass concentration（18.1 ± 6.9 μg m-3） as a function of wind speed was under calm wind conditions（38%of the time）.

Analysis of soil moisture variation by forest cover structure in lower western Himalayas, India

soil moisture affects various hydrological processes, including evapotranspiration, infiltration, and runoff. Forested areas in the lower western Himalaya in India constitute the headwater catchments for many hill streams and have experienced degradation in forest cover due to grazing, deforestation and other human activities. This change in forest cover is likely to alter the soil moisture regime and, consequently, flow regimes in streams. The effect of change in forest cover on soil moisture regimes of this dry region has not been studied through long term field observations. We monitored soil matric potentials in two small watersheds in the lower western Himalaya of India. The watersheds consisted of homogeneous land covers of moderately dense oak forest and moderately degraded mixed oak forest. Observations were recorded at three sites at three depths in each watershed at fortnightly intervals for a period of three years. The soil moisture contents derived from soil potential measurements were analyzed to understand the spatial, temporal and profile variations under the two structures of forest cover. The analysis revealed large variations in soil moisture storage at different sites and depths and also during different seasons in each watershed. Mean soil moisture storage during monsoon, winter and summer seasons was higher under dense forest than under degraded forest. Highest soil moisture content occurred at shallow soil profiles, decreasing with depth in both watersheds. A high positive correlation was found between tree density and soil moisture content. Mean soil moisture content over the entire study period was higher under dense forest than under degraded forest. This indicated a potential for soil water storage under well managed oak forest. Because soil water storage is vital for sustenance of low flows, attention is needed on the management of oak forests in the Himalayan region.
