The detection of anomalous events in huge amounts of data is sought in many *** instance,in the context of financial data,the detection of suspicious events is a prerequisite to identify and prevent attempts to ***,various financial fraud detection approaches have started to exploit Visual Analytics ***,there is no study available giving a systematic outline of the different approaches in this field to understand common strategies but also ***,we present a survey of existing approaches of visual fraud detection in order to classify different tasks and solutions,to identify and to propose further research *** this work,fraud detection solutions are explored through five main domains:banks,the stock market,telecommunication companies,insurance companies,and internal *** selected domains explored in this survey were chosen for sharing similar time-oriented and multivariate data *** this survey,we(1)analyze the current state of the art in this field;(2)define a categorization scheme covering different application domains,visualization methods,interaction techniques,and analytical methods which are used in the context of fraud detection;(3)describe and discuss each approach according to the proposed scheme;and(4)identify challenges and future research topics.

In Arabidopsis seeds, germination is promoted only by phytochromes, principally phytochrome B （phyB） and phytochrome A （phyA）. Despite the abundant information concerning the molecular basis of phyB signaling downstream of PIF1/PIL5, the signaling network inducing germination by phyA is poorly known. Here, we describe the influence of phyA on the transcriptome of Arabidopsis seeds when germination is induced by a far-red （FR） pulse. The expression of 11% of the genome was significantly regulated by phyA. Most of the genes were up-regulated and the changes noted late （i.e. 5 h after a FR pulse）, whereas changes in down-regulated genes were more abundant earlier （i.e. 0.5 h after a FR pulse）. Auxin- and GA-associated elements were overrepresented in the genes that were modified by phyA. A significant number of genes whose expression was affected by phyA had not been previously reported to be dependent on PIL5. Among them, homozygotic mutant seeds of MYB66, a SAUR-like protein, PIN7, and GASA4 showed an impaired promo- tion of germination by phyA. Natural variation at the transcriptional level was found in early signaling and GA metabolic genes, but not in ABA metabolic and expansin genes between Columbia and Landsberg erecta accessions. Although phyA and phyB/PIL5 signaling pathways share some molecular components, our data suggest that phyA signaling is partially independent of PIL5 when germination is promoted by very low fluences of light.

Objective: To estimate the genetic diversity of Kokobera virus, the date of origin and the spread among different viruses in the endemic regions of Australia. Methods: Two datasets were built. The first consisting of 29 sequences of the NS5/3' UTR region of Kokobera group downloaded from Gen Bank, the second including only 24 sequences of Kokobera viruses, focus is on this group. Results: Bayesian time analysis revealed two different entries in Australia of Kokobera virus in the 50 s years with the dated ancestor in 1861 year. Clade A and B showed a clear separation of the Kokobera sequences according to the geographic region. Conclusions: Data from the study showed as Kokobera virus, despite of its ancient origin and its circulation before the European colonization, remained limited to the Australian Country and nowadays limited mostly to the regions were Australian marsupials are mostly found.

Restrictive measures adopted worldwide against COVID19(e.g.,wearing masks,frequent hand washing,and social distancing)produced not only a decrease in SARS-CoV-2 difusion but also a drastic reduction in respiratory diseases caused by other pathogens,as reported by many authors[1,2].The spread of respiratory viruses,particularly respiratory syncytial virus(RSV),has been completely changed during the winter of 2020–2021[3,4],but an unusual resurgence of RSV infection has been recently reported in diferent countries[3-7].

AIM: To determine the distribution of refractive errors in a school-age population in Quintana Roo(Mexico) in the framework of an international cooperation campaign for the prevention of blindness. METHODS: A sample of 2647 school-age children(ranging from 5 to 14 years old) with a mean age of 9.1±1.9 years old were tested by trained volunteers for distance visual acuity(VA) and refractive errors. The first screening examination included uncorrected distance visual acuity(UDVA) and VA with a +2.00 D lens. Inclusion criteria for a second complete cycloplegic eye examination performed by an optometrist were UDVA <20/25(0.10 logMAR or 0.8 decimal) and/or VA with +2.00 D ≥20/***: A total of 633(23.9%) children underwent the second complete eye examination. Mean logMAR UDVA was 0.035±0.094(range 1.00 to 0.00 logMAR) for the right eyes and 0.036±0.160(range 1.00 to 0.00 logMAR) for the left eyes. Bilateral amblyopia was found in 17 children(2.7% of refracted eyes;0.64% of the total). The main reason for visual impairment(VI) in the sample analyzed was found to be refractive errors. In 12 children(1.9% of refracted eyes;0.45% of the total) the VI was bilateral and 9(1.4% of refracted eyes;0.34% of the total) achieved a corrected distance visual acuity of 20/25 or better in both eyes. Mean magnitude of sphere and refractive cylinder was +0.20±0.96 D and-0.43±0.85 D in right eyes, and +0.24±1.08 and-0.43±0.83 D in left eyes. The proportion of myopic eyes [standard equivalent(SE) ≤-0.50 D] was 4.6% of the whole sample(5290 eyes). The mean magnitude of myopia was-0.84±3.44 D for the right eyes and-0.82±5.21 D for the left eyes. The proportion of hyperopic patients(SE≥+2.00 D) was 2.4%(15/633), which corresponded to 0.60% of the whole sample(32/5290 eyes). No statistically significant correlation of age to manifest sphere or cylinder was ***: VI due to uncorrected refractive errors can be easily corrected with glasses but it is still a burden to be treated.

Few studies have analyzed climate change perceptions in the disaster risk management *** research aimed to understand how civil defense experts are dealing with the climate change topic:what they learn and think *** online survey was conducted between October and December 2021 with 1,063 participants from civil defense agencies in *** findings indicate:(1) most(80.6%) civil defense officers completely agreed that climate change will cause additional challenges to disaster risk management,while 10.1% stated that they are prepared to deal with it;(2) one quarter of the respondents(26.3%) completely agreed that they easily understand the information about climate change,but trust in the sources of information is a challenge-52.4% completely agreed and 40.5% partially agreed with information provided by scientists,but the levels of trust were reduced when referring to governments and press;and(3) about 30% of the respondents thought that civil defense work is associated with the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs),despite SDGs 11 and 13 being related to disasters and climate *** identification of civil defense’ perceptions on climate change is an important step in seeking pathways for increasing capacity building to achieve disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation.

Acid-base and lipophilic properties of peptide nucleic acid derivatives

The first combined experimental and theoretical study on the ionization and lipophilic properties of peptide nucleic acid(PNA)derivatives,including eleven PNA monomers and two PNA decamers,is *** acidity constants(pKa)of individual acidic and basic centers of PNA monomers were measured by automated potentiometric pH titrations in water/methanol solution,and these values were found to be in agreement with those obtained by MoKa *** results indicate that single nucleobases do not change their pKa values when included in PNA monomers and *** addition,immobilized artificial membrane chromatography was employed to evaluate the lipophilic properties of PNA monomers and oligomers,which showed the PNA derivatives had poor affinity towards membrane phospholipids,and confirmed their scarce cell penetrating ***,our study not only is of potential relevance to evaluate the pharmacokinetic properties of PNA,but also constitutes a reliable basis to properly modify PNA to obtain mimics with enhanced cell penetration properties.

In the application domain of digital humanities network visualization is increasingly being used to conduct research as the main interests of the domain experts lie in exploring and analyzing relationships between entities and their changes over *** the dynamics and different perspectives of such data is a non-trivial task but it enables researchers to explore connections between disparate entities and investigate historical narratives that *** this paper we present Circular,an interactive exploration environment to visualize event-based networks and support research in digital humanities through visualization of historical subjects in space and *** radial design is the result of iterative collaboration with domain experts,and we discuss the process of collaborative development and exploration of public music festivities in Vienna as an example of immersive development *** validate our approach by means of both domain and visualization expert interviews and show the potential of this approach in supporting the visual exploration of historical *** discuss our design rationales,visual encodings,and interactions as to allow the reproducibility of this approach within a framework of transdisciplinary collaboration with digital humanities.

Risk of hepatitis B virus reactivation in rheumatoid arthritis patients undergoing biologic treatment: Extending perspective from old to newer drugs

Hepatitis B virus(HBV) reactivation in rheumatoid arthritis(RA) patients undergoing biological therapy is not infrequent. This condition can occur in patients with chronic hepatitis B as well as in patients with resolved HBV infection. Current recommendations are mainlyfocused on prevention and management strategies of viral reactivation under tumor necrosis factor-α inhibitors or chimeric monoclonal antibody rituximab. In recent years, growing data concerning HBV reactivation in RA patients treated with newer biological drugs like tocilizumab and abatacept have cumulated. In this review, epidemiology, pathogenesis and natural history of HBV infection have been revised first, mainly focusing on the role that specific therapeutic targets of current biotechnological drugs play in HBV pathobiology; finally we have summarized current evidences from scientific literature, including either observational studies and case reports as well, concerning HBV reactivation under different classes of biological drugs in RA patients. Taking all these evidences into account, some practical guidelines for screening, vaccination, prophylaxis and treatment of HBV reactivation have been proposed.
