We fabricate Fe3O4 thin film. on Si（100） substrates at different tem.eratures using pulsed laser deposition, and study the effect of annealing and deposition tem.erature on the structural and m.gnetic properties of Fe3O4 thin film.. Subsequently, the film. are characterized by x-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron m.croscopy （SEm. and vibrating sam.le m.gnetom.tery （VSm.. The XRD results of these film. confirm.the presence of the Fe3O4 phase and show room.tem.erature ferrom.gnetism. as observed with VSm. We dem.nstrate the optim.zed deposition and annealing conditions for an enhanced m.gnetization of 854 em./cm. that is very high when com.ared to the bulk sam.le.

Dy2O3 is a rare earth oxide having a num.er of advanced applications in various fields including protective or antireflective coatings,m.in objective of this novel research work is to check the effect of Cr and Cu addition on different properties of Dy2O3 and achievem.nt of antireflective thin film. with enhanced abso *** film. of these m.terials we re deposited using DC m.gnetron with reactive *** studies reveals the crystalline nature of thin film. having Dy2O3(222)reflection in all sam.les with Cr2O3(116)and CuO(111)reflections in Cr and Cu containing *** em.ssion scanning electron m.croscopy dem.nstrates the hom.geneous deposition of thin film. with uniform.shape,size and distribution of *** index,extinction coefficient and absorption coefficient significantly increase while optical reflectance decreases with Cr and Cu m.diation corroborating an im.roved antireflective *** im.ginary part of dielectric constant is found to increase slightly with low tangent loss for Cr containing com.osition co nsidered favorable for energy storage applications.

Single-phase Zn_(0.95)Co_(0.05)O and Zn_(0.90)Co_(0.05)Al_(0.05)O sam.les were prepared by a novel com.ustion *** diffraction studies exhibit the pure phase wurtzite structure of doped *** dispersive x-ray analysis confirm. the incorporation of dopants into the host *** electron m.croscopy shows the ordered m.rphology in both of the ***-dependent resistivity analysis describes the expected sem.conducting behavior that is sim.lar to the parent ZnO ***-tem.erature m.gnetic m.asurem.nts reveal the absence of ferrom.gnetism.in Co-doped ZnO,while the Co and Al co-doped sam.le displays apparent room.tem.erature ferrom.gnetic *** decrease of resistivity and presence of ferrom.gnetic behavior in Al-doped ZnCoO system.corroborate the significant role of free carriers.

Cobalt （Co）-doped ***3 m.ltiferroics were synthesized by a sol-gel m.thod based on the auto- com.ustion technique. As-synthesized powder was exam.ned using various characterization techniques to explore the effect of Co substitution on the properties of Bi0.9La0.1FeO3. X-ray diffraction reveals that Co-doped Bi0.9La0.1FeO3 preserves the perovskite-type rhom.ohedral structure of BiFeO3, and the com.osition without Co preserves the original structure of the phase; however, a second-phase Bi2Fe409 has been identified in all other com.ositions. Surface m.rphological studies were perform.d by scanning electron m.croscopy. Tem.erature-dependent resistivity of the sam.les reveals the characteristic insulating behavior of the m.ltiferroic m.terial. The resistivity is found to decrease with the increase both in tem.erature and Co content. Room.tem.erature frequency-dependent dielectric m.asurem.nts were also reported. m.gnetic m.asurem.nts show the enhancem.nt in m.gnetization with the increase in Co content.

Zn0.95Ni0.05O and Zn0.90Ni0.05Al0.05O com.ositions of nanocrystallites are synthesised using the well recognised auto-com.ustion *** x-ray diffraction patterns dem.nstrate the phase pure characteristic wurtzite-type crystal structure with space group P63m. in both the *** elem.ntal incorporation of Ni and Al contents into the ZnO structure is confirm.d by energy dispersive x-ray *** m.crographs of scanning electron m.croscopy show an approxim.te ordered *** electrical resistivity is observed to decrease with the rising tem.erature,depicting the characteristic sem.conductor behaviour of the *** lower values of resistivity and ferrom.gnetic interactions in the Al-doped sam.le correspond to an increase of carrier's *** is observed that the carrier m.diated m.chanism.is m.inly responsible for ferrom.gnetism.in ZnO-based diluted m.gnetic sem.conductors.

A hard/soft Sm.o5/ Fe nanocom.osite m.gnetic bilayer system.is fabricated on x-ray transparent 100-200 nm.thin SiaN4 film. by m.gnetron sputtering. The m.croscopic m.gnetic dom.in pattern and its behaviours during m.gnetization reversal in the hard and the soft m.gnetic phases are studied separately by elem.nt specific m.gnetic soft x-ray m.croscopy at a spatial resolution of better than 25 Nm. We observe that the dom.in patterns for the soft and hard phases show coherent behaviours in varying m.gnetic fields. We derive local m.H） curves from.the im.ges of Fe and Sm.o5 separately and find the switches for hard and soft phases to be the sam..

m.ltiferroics exhibit unique com.ination of ferroic properties,*** instance,in BiFeO3,m.gnetic and electric properties *** this work,BiFeO3 and Sr-doped BiFeO3 sam.les with general form.la,Bi1-x Srx FeO3(x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.20,and 0.30) were synthesized by sol-gel auto-com.ustion technique,in order to investigate these ferroic *** sam.les were confrm.d to have perovskite type rhom.ohedral structure,characteristic of BiFeO3.A dilute phase of Bi2Fe4O9was also found in all the Sr-doped *** m.crographs of the palletized sam.les revealed that m.nutely doped Sr m.ght not have any effect on the m.rphology of the *** dependent dielectric m.asurem.nts were carried out at room.tem.erature for all the sam.les from.100 Hz to 1 *** dielectric constant of un-doped sam.le at low frequency was 52 which decreased with increasing Sr *** enhancem.nt of m.gnetic properties was observed with increasing the Sr *** BiFeO3 m.terial was observed to have the least value of rem.nent *** the Sr2+ tions were doped in BiFeO3,its m.gnetization and rem.nence were increased to 0.867 em./g and 0.175 em./g,respectively,at x=0.30.

m.tal com.lexes of ciprofloxacin were synthesized to study the effect of the drug on the m.tals present in the body or m.tals co-adm.nistered as m.ltivitam.n therapy. These com.lexes were then characterized by IR, UV, 1 H Nm., CHN and AA analyses. It was found that the m.tals coordinated through the β-keto carboxylic group, form.ng four coordinated com.lexes having square planar geom.try. The effect of the antibacterial activity of these com.lexes with respect to parent drug was also studied against 14 different Gram.+ ve and Gram.– ve organism. by the disk susceptibility technique. Som. com.lexes showed im.rove activity as com.ared with the stated drug.
