Mask image projection-based vat photopolymerization(MIP-VPP)offers advantages like low cost,high resolution,and a wide material range,making it popular in industry and ***,MIP-VPP employing liquid crystal displays(LCDs)has gained traction,increasingly replacing digital micromirror devices,particularly among hobbyists and in educational settings,and is now beginning to be used in industrial ***,LCD-based MIP-VPPsuffers from pronounced pixelated aliasing arising from LCD’s discrete image pixels and itsdirect-contact configuration in MIP-VPP machines,leading to rough surfaces on the 3D-printed ***,we propose a vibration-assisted MIP-VPP method that utilizes a microscalevibration to uniformize the light intensity distribution of the LCD-based mask image on VPP’s building *** maintaining the same fabrication speed,our technique generates asmoother,non-pixelated mask image,reducing the roughness on flat surfaces and boundary segments of 3D-printed *** light intensity modeling and simulation,we derived an optimal vibration pattern for LCD mask images,subsequently validated by *** assessed the surface texture,boundary integrity,and dimensional accuracy of componentsproduced using the vibration-assisted *** notably smoother surfaces and improved boundary roughness enhance the printing quality of MIP-VPP,enabling its promisingapplications in sectors like the production of 3D-printed optical devices and others.

Performance evaluation of new epoxy resin-based composite phase change materials and their asphalt mixture

In recent years,the temperature-adjusted asphalt pavement has been an extensive concern by scholars in various countries,and this pavement can reduce temperaturerelated *** this study,the shaped composite phase change materials(CPCMs)were successfully synthesized by two processes,which are vacuum impregnation and epoxy ***,the applicability of CPCMs in asphalt mixtures was evaluated by microscopic characterization,chemical compatibility,thermal properties,durability,and leakage ***,CPCMs were applied to the asphalt mixture to evaluate its temperatureadjusted characteristics and pavement ***,the performance of the temperature-adjusted asphalt mixture was analyzed by integrating all *** research shows that the prepared CPCMs have excellent thermal properties and durability,the phase transition temperature is 48.93℃,and the phase transition enthalpy is 106.5 j/g,which fully meets the requirements for use in *** temperature-adjusted asphalt mixture could alleviate the occurrence of extreme temperature,which was 4.9℃lower than the conventional *** pavement performance of the temperatureadjusted asphalt mixture can meet the specified standards for humid *** the factors,the recommended amount of CPCMs is 1.5%.The research results provide a basis for the promotion of temperature-adjusted asphalt pavement and effectively support the development of pavement engineering technology.

Traditional hydrometallurgical methods for recovering spent lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)involve acid leaching to simultaneously extract all valuable metals into the *** methods usually are followed by a series of separation steps such as precipitation,extraction,and stripping to separate the individual valuable *** this study,we present a process for selectively leaching lithium through the synergistic effect of sulfuric and oxalic *** optimal leaching conditions(leaching time of 1.5 h,leaching temperature of 70°C,liquid-solid ratio of 4 mL/g,oxalic acid ratio of 1.3,and sulfuric acid ratio of 1.3),the lithium leaching efficiency reached89.6%,and the leaching efficiencies of Ni,Co,and Mn were 12.8%,6.5%,and 21.7%.X-ray diffraction(XRD)and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer(ICP-OES)analyses showed that most of the Ni,Co,and Mn in the raw material remained as solid residue oxides and *** study offers a new approach to enriching the relevant theory for selectively recovering lithium from spent LIBs.

Rare earth elements and transition metals have been found to improve the hydrogen storage characteristics of magnesium-based *** study investigated the Mg-Ho-Fe(MHF) ternary alloy prepared using the vacuum induction melting technique.X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),pressure-composition-temperature(PCT),and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) were used to analyze the alloy's phase transitions,microstructure,thermodynamics,and kinetic *** results reveal that the Mg_(98)Ho_(1.5)Fe_(0.5) alloy forms a solid solution with Ho and Fe in the magnesium *** hydrogen absorption,the activated alloy transforms into a mixture of Mg/MgH_(2) phases and nanoscale HoH_(2) ***,only the MgH_(2) phase decomposes during hydrogen desorption,while the HoH_(2) phase remains unchanged,exhibiting a positive catalytic *** alloy demonstrates excellent hydrogen absorption kinetics,achieving a capacity of 5.56 wt% H_(2) within 10 min at 360℃,owing to the combined catalytic effects of Ho and *** activation energy for hydrogen desorption is found to be 135.87 kj/mol,which is lower than that of the activation energies of pure MgH_(2) and MgFe alloys,indicating an enhancement in desorption ***,the enthalpy and entropy changes for hydrogen absorption and desorption are determined to be-70.51 kj/mol H_(2),-125.62 j/(K·mol) H_(2),72.83 kj/mol H_(2),and 128.95 j/(K·mol) H_(2),***,it is worth noting that the thermodynamic properties of the alloy are improved due to the catalytic effect of Ho and Fe.
