Graphene has been extensively utilized in the domain of electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption ma-terials because of its excellent electrical conductivity.However,the inferior impedance matching per-formance and the single loss mechanism vastly restrict the application.Hence,it’s an effective strat-egy to solve these issues by introducing magnetic components.Notably,layer double hydroxide(LDH)is an appropriate template to obtain magnetic component materials.Considering that ferromagnetic met-als such as Fe,Co,Ni,and their corresponding metal oxides are usually treated as magnetic compo-nents which are promising candidates for EMW absorption materials.Therefore,in this work,a FeNi-layered double hydroxide-reduced graphene oxide(FeNi-LDH-rGO)aerogel was synthesized through a series of processes such as electrostatic self-assembly,hydrothermal,freeze-drying,and annealing.The magnetic NiFe_(2)O_(4)@FeNi_(3)core-shell nanospheres were obtained from FeNi-LDH precursor,anchoring on rGO nanosheets after the annealing treatment.Furthermore,the effects of different mass ratios of LDH to GO as well as different annealing temperatures of LDH-rGO aerogel on the EMW absorption prop-erty and impedance matching performance were explored.As a consequence,the fabricated ultralight 600LDH-rGO 2:1 aerogel shows a broad effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 7.04 GHz at a thickness of 2.3 mm with a low filling content of only 6 wt%and a low density of 4.4 mg/cm^(3).In conclusion,the synthetic LDH-rGO aerogels offer an effective strategy for preparing EMW absorption materials that own three-dimensional porous network structure and unique magnetic NiFe_(2)O_(4)@FeNi_(3)core-shell struc-ture nanospheres.

Stability Investigation and Improvement for DC Cascade Systems with Simplified Impedance-based Stability Criterion

In DC distributed power systems(DPSs),the complex impedance interactions possibly lead to DC bus voltage oscillation or collapse.In previous research,the stability analysis of DPSs is implemented based on mathematical analysis in control theory.The specific mechanisms of the instability of the cascade system have not been intuitively clarified.In this paper,the stability analysis of DPSs based on the traditional Nyquist criterion is simplified to the resonance analysis of the seriesconnected port impedance(Z=R+jX)of source and load converters.It reveals that the essential reason for impedance instability of a DC cascade system is that the negative damping characteristic(R<0)of the port the overall impedance amplifies the internal resonance source at reactance zero-crossing frequency.The simplified stability criterion for DC cascade systems can be concluded as:in the negative damping frequency ranges(R<0),there exists no zero-crossing point of the reactance component(i.e.,X=0).According to the proposed stability criterion,the oscillation modes of cascade systems are classified.A typical one is the internal impedance instability excited by the negative damping,and the other one is that the external disturbance amplified by negativity in a low stability margin.Thus,the impedance reshaping method for stability improvement of the system can be further specified.The validity of the simplified criterion is verified theoretically and experimentally by a positive damping reshaping method.

BACKGROUND The efficacy and safety of anti-tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)monoclonal antibody therapy[adalimumab(ADA)and infliximab(IFX)]with therapeutic drug monitoring(TDM),which has been proposed for inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)patients,are still controversial.AIM To determine the efficacy and safety of anti-TNF-αmonoclonal antibody therapy with proactive TDM in patients with IBD and to determine which subtype of IBD patients is most suitable for proactive TDM interventions.METHODS As of July 2023,we searched for randomized controlled trials(RCTs)and observa-tional studies in PubMed,Embase,and the Cochrane Library to compare anti-TNF-αmonoclonal antibody therapy with proactive TDM with therapy with reactive TDM or empiric therapy.Pairwise and network meta-analyses were used to determine the IBD patient subtype that achieved clinical remission and to determine the need for surgery.RESULTS This systematic review and meta-analysis yielded 13 studies after exclusion,and the baseline indicators were balanced.We found a significant increase in the number of patients who achieved clinical remission in the ADA[odds ratio(OR)=1.416,95%confidence interval(CI):1.196-1.676]and RCT(OR=1.393,95%CI:1.182-1.641)subgroups and a significant decrease in the number of patients who needed surgery in the proactive vs reactive(OR=0.237,95%CI:0.101-0.558)and IFX+ADA(OR=0.137,95%CI:0.032-0.588)subgroups,and the overall risk of adverse events was reduced(OR=0.579,95%CI:0.391-0.858)according to the pairwise meta-analysis.Moreover,the network meta-analysis results suggested that patients with IBD treated with ADA(OR=1.39,95%CI:1.19-1.63)were more likely to undergo TDM,especially in comparison with patients with reactive TDM(OR=1.38,95%CI:1.07-1.77).CONCLUSION Proactive TDM is more suitable for IBD patients treated with ADA and has obvious advantages over reactive TDM.We recommend proactive TDM in IBD patients who are treated with ADA.

This study investigated the therapeutic effects on metabolic syndrome (MetS) and the impact on the intestinal barrier and gut microbiota of Fu brick tea aqueous extracts (FTE) on metabolic syndrome (MetS) in rats fed with a high-fat diet (HFD). Here， the results showed that FTE supplement significantly reduced HFD-induced weight gain， adiposity， dyslipidemia， fasting blood glucose (PBG) increment， and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Moreover， FTE supplement resulted in a decline in lipopolysaccharide (LPS) level and attenuation of colonic inflammation and oxidative stress to protect the intestinal barrier function. FTE supplement also maintained the intestinal barrier integrity by improving histological appearance and promoting ZO-1， Occludin， and Claudin-1 protein expression levels. Meanwhile， FTE supplement alleviated the gut microbiota dysbiosis by enhancing the Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes (F/B) ratio and stimulating the colonization of probiotic bacteria such as Akkermansia， Lactobacillus， Adlercreutzia， and Bacteroides. These findings collectively suggest that Fu brick tea could alleviate MetS and Mets-associated traits with the mechanism relevant to the protection of intestinal barrier and gut microbiota regulation.

STING(also known as MITA)is an adaptor protein that mediates cytoplasmic DNA-triggered signaling,and aberrant activation of STING/MITA by cytosolic self-DNA or gain-of-function mutations causes severe inflammation.Here,we show that STING-mediated inflammation and autoimmunity are promoted by RNF115 and alleviated by the RNF115 inhibitor disulfiram(DSF).Knockout of RNF115 or treatment with DSF significantly inhibit systemic inflammation and autoimmune lethality and restore immune cell development in Trex1^(–/–)mice and STING^(N153S/WT) bone marrow chimeric mice.In addition,knockdown or pharmacological inhibition of RNF115 substantially downregulate the expression of IFN-α,IFN-γand proinflammatory cytokines in PBMCs from patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)who exhibit high concentrations of dsDNA in peripheral blood.Mechanistically,knockout or inhibition of RNF115 impair the oligomerization and Golgi localization of STING in various types of cells transfected with cGAMP and in organs and cells from Trex1^(–/–)mice.Interestingly,knockout of RNF115 inhibits the activation and Golgi localization of STINGN153S as well as the expression of proinflammatory cytokines in myeloid cells but not in endothelial cells or fibroblasts.Taken together,these findings highlight the RNF115-mediated cell type-specific regulation of STING and STINGN153S and provide potential targeted intervention strategies for STING-related autoimmune diseases.

Construction of MTX-CS-TMP-NPs Nano-drug Delivery System and its Observation on Telomerase Activity of Cervical Cancer Hela Cells

Objective:To construct methotrexate(MTX)-chitosan(CS)-chuanxiongmuizine(TMP)nano-delivery system MTX-CS-TMP-NPs,and to investigate its effect on the telomerase activity of cervical cancer Hela cells.Methods:MTX-CS and MTX-CS-TMP-NPs were prepared by amide reaction and ionic gel method,and the encapsulation rate and drug loading rate were observed.MTT method and TRAP method were used to detect Hela cells and telomerase activity,and to compare the difference of telomerase activity of MTX,MTX-CS,and MTX-CS-TMP-NPs on cervical cancer Hela cells.Results:In this study,the total amount of TMP was 150μg,of which the amount of free TMP was(26.46±1.72)μg,the encapsulation rate of TMP was(82.36±0.01)%,and the drug loading was(17.62±0.23)mg.The activity of Hela cells increased with the extension of time,and the OD value of Hela cell activity(1.24±0.05)was lower than that of the other three groups at 72 h of treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The telomerase activity of He La cells in the MTX-CS-TMP-NPs solution treatment group was(0.23±0.12)%lower than that of the other three groups,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:MTX-CS-TMP-NPs may effectively reduce the activity and telomerase activity of cervical cancer Hela cells,showing its potential anti-cervical cancer effect.

Background:Globally,despite prostate cancer(PCa)representing second most prevalent malignancy in male,the precise molecular mechanisms implicated in its pathogenesis remain unclear.Consequently,elucidating the key molecular regulators that govern disease progression could substantially contribute to the establishment of novel therapeutic strategies,ultimately advancing the management of PCa.Methods:A total of 49 PCa tissues and 43 adjacent normal tissues were collected from January 2017 to December 2021 at Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University.The advanced transcriptomic methodologies were employed to identify differentially expressed mRNAs in PCa.The expression of aspartoacylase(ASPA)in PCa was thoroughly evaluated using quantitative real-time PCR and Western blotting techniques.To elucidate the inhibitory role of ASPA in PCa cell proliferation and metastasis,a comprehensive set of in vitro and in vivo assays were conducted,including orthotopic and tumor-bearing mouse models(n=8 for each group).A combination of experimental approaches,such as Western blotting,luciferase assays,immunoprecipitation assays,mass spectrometry,glutathione S-transferase pulldown experiments,and rescue studies,were employed to investigate the underlying molecular mechanisms of ASPA's action in PCa.The Student‘s t-test was employed to assess the statistical significance between two distinct groups,while one-way analysis of variance was utilized for comparisons involving more than two groups.A two-sided P<0.05 was deemed to indicate statistical significance.Results:ASPA was identified as a novel inhibitor of PCa progression.The expression of ASPA was found to be significantly down-regulated in PCa tissue samples,and its decreased expression was independently associated with patients’prognosis(HR=0.60,95%CI 0.40–0.92,P=0.018).Our experiments demonstrated that modulation of ASPA activity,either through gain-or loss-of-function,led to the suppression or enhancement of PCa cell proliferation,migration,and invasion,respectively.The inhibitory

Effect of gravel content on the detachment of colluvial deposits in Benggang

Accurately calculating detachment capacity is the most fundamental issue when establishing a soil erosion process model.Colluvial deposits of Benggang are typical soil-gravel mixtures,whereas the understanding of the soil detachment of colluvial deposits is limited.This work investigated the effects of the gravel contents on the soil detachment capacity of colluvial deposits and its hydrodynamic mechanism.The colluvial sample was collected in Anxi County,Fujian Province,Southeast China,and a small-sample scouring test was used.The slope steepness ranged from 18%to 84%,unit discharge ranged from 0.56×10^(-3)to 2.22×10^(-3)m^(2)s^(-1),and gravel content ranged from 0%to 70%.The results indicated that the gravel content is the primary factor that influences the detachment capacity,followed by the discharge and then the slope.The detachment capacity trend with the gravel content varied over different slopes and discharges.Stream power represents the best hydrodynamic parameter for modelling the detachment capacity of colluvial deposits and can be used to establish a fitting equation for the colluvium together with the mean weight diameter(MWD)(Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency(NSE)=0.96).As the gravel content increased,the soil erodibility parameters increased several folds,in some cases more than 10 folds,mainly because the soil shear strength decreased gradually.Meanwhile,as the gravel content increased,the gravel specific surface area increased,the obstruction of gravel to runoff increased,and the energy needed for runoff to overcome gravel obstruction increased,leading to 2-3 folds higher critical shear stress of runoff for soilgravel mixtures compared with pure soil.In summary,gravel can influence the detachment capacity by changing the soil properties,and the gravel content also affects the relationship between soil detachment capacity and the hydrodynamic parameters.These findings deepen the understanding of the influence of gravel on soil erosion and provide a basis for establishing a soil erosion process model in co

High-throughput sequencing technology is increasingly used in the study of nematode biodiversity.However,the annotation difference of commonly used primers and reference databases on nematode community is still unclear.We compared two pairs of primers(3NDf/C_1132rmod,NF1F/18Sr2bR)and three databases(NT_V20200604,SILVA138/18s Eukaryota and PR2_v4.5 databases)on the determination of nematode community from four different vegetation types in Changbai Mountain,including mixed broadleaf-conifer forest,dark coniferous forest,betula ermanii Cham and alpine tundra.Our results showed that the selection of different primers and databases influenced the annotation of nematode taxa,but the diversity of nematode community showed consistent pattern among different vegetation types.Our findings emphasize that it is necessary to select appropriate primer and database according to the target taxonomic level.The difference in primers will affect the result of nematode taxa at different classification levels,so sequencing analysis cannot be used for comparison with studies using different primers.In terms of annotation effect in this study,3NDf/C_1132rmod primers with NT_v20200604 database could provide more information than other combinations at the genus or species levels.
