Genus Prunus comprising around 430 species is a vast important genus of family Rosaceae, subfamily amygdalaoidae. Among all 430 species, around 19 important species are commonly found in Indian subcontinent due to their broad nutritional and economic importance. Some most common species of genus Prunus are Prunus amygdalus, Prunus persica, Prunus armeniaca, Prunus avium, Prunus cerasus, Prunus cerasoides, Prunus domestica, Prunus mahaleb, etc. A newly introduced species of Prunus i.e Prunus sunhangii is recently discovered which is morphologically very similar to Prunus cerasoides. Plants of Prunus species are short to medium-sized deciduous trees mainly found in the northern hemisphere. In India and its subcontinent,it extends from the Himalayas to Sikkim, Meghalaya,Bhutan, Myanmar etc. Different Prunus species have been extensively studied for their morphological,microscopic, pharmacological and phytoconstituents characteristics. Total phenolic content of Prunus species explains the presence of phenols in high quantity and pharmacological activity due to phenols. Phytochemical screening of species of genus Prunus shows the presence of wide phytoconstituents which contributes in their pharmacological significance and reveals the therapeutic potential and traditional medicinal significance of this genus. Genus Prunus showed a potent antioxidant activity analyzed by 1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrazyl radical assay. Plant species belonging to the genus Prunus is widely used traditionally for the treatment of various disorders. Some specific Prunus species possess potent anticancer, anti-inflammatory,hypoglycemic etc. activity which makes the genus more interesting for further research and findings. This review is an attempt to summarize the comprehensive study of Prunus species from its distribution, morphological characters to phytoconstituents, and pharmacological activity.

Although tuberculosis has become more common in recent years, it still accounts for just a small percentage of cases of chronic otitis media. Common symptoms of tuberculous otitis media(TOM) include otorrhoea, hearing loss, and multiple tympanic membrane perforations. Due to its rarity, the illness is frequently misdiagnosed. When a patient does not improve with standard antibacterial and antifungal treatment, this may be a possible diagnosis to explore. Complete healing is possible if the illness is diagnosed and treated timely to prevent consequences.

The impact of radiation reaction and Breit±Wheeler pair production on the acceleration of fully ionized carbon ions driven by an intense linearly polarized laser pulse has been investigated in the ultra-relativistic transparency *** initial expectations, the radiation reaction and pair production at ultra-high laser intensities are found to enhance the energy gained by the ions. The electrons lose most of their transverse momentum, and the additionally produced pair plasma of Breit±Wheeler electrons and positrons co-streams in the forward direction as opposed to the existing electrons streaming at an angle above zero degree. We discuss how these observations could be explained by the changes in the phase velocity of the Buneman instability, which is known to aid ion acceleration in the breakout afterburner regime, by tapping the free energy in the relative electron and ion streams. We present evidence that these non-classical effects can further improve the highest carbon ion energies in this transparency regime.

Task scheduling in highly elastic and dynamic processing environments such as cloud computing have become the most discussed problem among *** scheduling algorithms are responsible for the allocation of the tasks among the computing resources for their execution,and an inefficient task scheduling algorithm results in under-or over-utilization of the resources,which in turn leads to degradation of the ***,in the proposed work,load balancing is considered as an important criterion for task scheduling in a cloud computing environment as it can help in reducing the overhead in the critical decision-oriented *** this paper,we propose an adaptive genetic algorithm-based load balancing(GALB)-aware task scheduling technique that not only results in better utilization of resources but also helps in optimizing the values of key performance indicators such as makespan,performance improvement ratio,and degree of *** concept of adaptive crossover and mutation is used in this work which results in better adaptation for the fittest individual of the current generation and prevents them from the *** simulator has been used to carry out the simulations and obtained results establish that the proposed GALB algorithm performs better for all the key indicators and outperforms its peers which are taken into the consideration.

In this paper, we construct an SIR epidemic model with a modified Beddington–DeAngelis type incidence rate and saturated treatment rate. We modify the incidence rateto incorporate the isolation of infected individuals after detection, and separation of somesusceptible individuals from the rest to avoid the infection, without an increase in thenumber of classes. We find that the system has a unique disease-free equilibrium (DFE)which is locally asymptotically stable when the reproduction number is less than *** multiple endemic equilibria may exist irrespective of the basic reproduction *** existence of bistability is encountered. Supercritical transcritical (forward), as wellas subcritical transcritical (backward) bifurcation, may occur at R0 = 1 where contactrate, β = β∗ acts as the bifurcation parameter. Therefore, DFE need not be globallystable. The conditions for the existence of Andronov–Hopf bifurcation are deduced withmaximum treatment capacity, c = c0 as the bifurcation parameter. The impacts of isolation of confirmed infected cases and separation of some susceptible from rest are studiednumerically as well as the effect of saturation in treatment. The existence of chaoticbehavior is deduced by showing the maximum Lyapunov exponent to be positive as wellas the sensitivity to initial conditions. The computation of the Kalpan–Yorke dimensionto be fractional confirms the existence of fractal-type strange attractor. The positiveKolmogorov–Sinai entropy further strengthens the claim of the existence of chaos.

As the number of HIV infected patients is multiplying exponentially day by day so are the associated ocular *** increasing longevity of individuals with HIV disease has resulted in greater numbers of patients with ocular opportunistic *** the means of this article we describe various opportunistic ocular infections in AIDS and their clinical manifestations,discussed under four headings;1) adnexal manifestation; 2) anterior segment manifestation;3 ) posterior segment manifestation;4) neuro ophthalmic manifestation. Herpes zoster ophthalmicus,molluscum contagiosum and Kaposi sarcoma are common adnexal manifestations. Molluscum contagiosum being the *** Zoster Virus(VZV) and herpes simplex virus(HSV) most commonly cause infectious keratitis in HIV-positive *** compared to the immunocompetent individuals the frequency of bacterial and fungal keratitis is not more in HIV patients,but it tends to be more severe. Posterior segment structures involved in HIV-positive patients include the retina,choroid,and optic nerve *** herpesvirus family is implicated most commonly in infections of the retina and choroid in HIV positive *** is the most common cause of retinitis and the commonest intraocular infection in AIDS. Atypical presentations resistance to conventional treatment and higher rate of recurrence make the diagnosis and therapeutic intervention more difficult and *** addition,in one eye,several infections may occur at the same time,rendering the situation more difficult.

Suspicious fall events are particularly significant hazards for the safety of patients and ***,suspicious fall event detection has become a robust research case in real-time *** paper aims to detect suspicious fall events during video monitoring of multiple people in different moving back-grounds in an indoor environment;it is further proposed to use a deep learning method known as Long Short Term Memory(LSTM)by introducing visual atten-tion-guided mechanism along with a bi-directional LSTM *** method contributes essential information on the temporal and spatial locations of‘suspi-cious fall’events in learning the video frame in both forward and backward *** effective“You only look once V4”(YOLO V4)–a real-time people detection system illustrates the detection of people in videos,followed by a track-ing module to get their *** Neural Network(CNN)fea-tures are extracted for each person tracked through bounding ***,a visual attention-guided Bi-directional LSTM model is proposed for the final suspicious fall event *** proposed method is demonstrated using two different datasets to illustrate the *** proposed method is evaluated by comparing it with other state-of-the-art methods,showing that it achieves 96.9%accuracy,good performance,and ***,it is accep-table to monitor and detect suspicious fall events.
