Evaluation of the efficacy of Tian dan shu gan rehabilitation exercise in improving the short-term quality of life of patients with acute myocardial infarction after percutaneous coronary intervention

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of Tian dan shu gan rehabilitation exercise in improving the short-term survival quality of patients after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)and explore whether patients’symptoms,physical function,cognitive function,and psychosocial function are improved after this ***:Patients with acute myocardial infarction who underwent PCI in Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August to November 2020 were selected.A total of 110 patients were selected by the convenience sampling *** in the control group were given routine nursing measures after PCI for coronary heart disease,and patients in the experimental group received Tian dan shu gan rehabilitation exercise in addition to routine ***:After 3 wk,the quality of life in the experimental group was improved compared with that in the control group,and the differences in symptom scores,physical functions,cognitive functions,and psychosocial functions were statistically significant(P<0.01).After 3 wk of Tian dan shu gan rehabilitation exercise,patients with body mass index(BMI)between 27 and 29.9 had the highest score of body function,which was statistically significantly better compared with that of other groups(P<0.001).Patients who had remained bachelors for a long period of time had the highest score of symptoms,which was statistically significant compared with the other groups(P<0.001).The nursing satisfaction of the experimental group was 96.3%.Conclusions:Tian dan shu gan rehabilitation exercise was effective in improving the short-term quality of life of patients with acute myocardial infarction after PCI,and the nursing satisfaction rate was high,use of which should be further extended to more clinical patients.

Energy-Theft Detection Issues for Advanced Metering Infrastructure in Smart Grid

With the proliferation of smart grid research, the Advanced Metering Infrastructure （AMI） has become the first ubiquitous and fixed computing platform. However, due to the unique characteristics of AMI, such as complex network structure, resource-constrained smart meter, and privacy-sensitive data, it is an especially challenging issue to make AMI secure. Energy theft is one of the most important concerns related to the smart grid implementation. It is estimated that utility companies lose more than S25 billion every year due to energy theft around the world. To address this challenge, in this paper, we discuss the background of AMI and identify major security requirements that AMI should meet. Specifically, an attack tree based threat model is first presented to illustrate the energy-theft behaviors in AMI. Then, we summarize the current AMI energy-theft detection schemes into three categories, i.e., classification-based, state estimation-based, and game theory-based ones, and make extensive comparisons and discussions on them. In order to provide a deep understanding of security vulnerabilities and solutions in AMI and shed light on future research directions, we also explore some open challenges and potential solutions for energy-theft detection.

In this paper, we obtain the uniform estimate for discounted aggregate claims in the continuous-time renewal model of upper-tailed independent and heavy-tailed random variables. With constant interest force and constant premium rate, we establish a uniform simple asymptotic formula for ruin probability of the renewal model in the case where the initial surplus is large.

Determining Atmospheric Boundary Layer Height with the Numerical Differentiation Method Using Bending Angle Data from COSMIC

This paper presents a new method to estimate the height of the atmospheric boundary layer(ABL) by using COSMIC radio occultation bending angle(BA) data. Using the numerical differentiation method combined with the regularization technique, the first derivative of BA profiles is retrieved, and the height at which the first derivative of BA has the global minimum is defined to be the ABL height. To reflect the reliability of estimated ABL heights, the sharpness parameter is introduced, according to the relative minimum of the BA derivative. Then, it is applied to four months of COSMIC BA data(January, April, July, and October in 2008), and the ABL heights estimated are compared with two kinds of ABL heights from COSMIC products and with the heights determined by the finite difference method upon the refractivity data. For sharp ABL tops(large sharpness parameters), there is little difference between the ABL heights determined by different methods, i.e.,the uncertainties are small; whereas, for non-sharp ABL tops(small sharpness parameters), big differences exist in the ABL heights obtained by different methods, which means large uncertainties for different methods. In addition, the new method can detect thin ABLs and provide a reference ABL height in the cases eliminated by other methods. Thus, the application of the numerical differentiation method combined with the regularization technique to COSMIC BA data is an appropriate choice and has further application value.

Big Personal Data is growing explosively. Consequently, an increasing number of internet users are drowning in a sea of data. Big Personal Data has enormous commercial value; it is a new kind of data asset. An urgent problem has thus arisen in the data market： How to price Big Personal Data fairly and reasonably. This paper proposes a pricing model for Big Personal Data based on tuple granularity, with the help of comparative analysis of existing data pricing models and strategies. This model is put forward to implement positive rating and reverse pricing for Big Personal Data by investigating data attributes that affect data value, and analyzing how the value of data tuples varies with information entropy, weight value, data reference index, cost, and other factors. The model can be adjusted dynamically according to these parameters. With increases in data scale, reductions in its cost,and improvements in its quality, Big Personal Data users can thereby obtain greater benefits.

A comparison of single- and multi-site calibration and validation： a case study of SWAT in the Miyun Reservoir watershed, China

An essential task in evaluating global water resource and pollution problems is to obtain the optimum set of parameters in hydrological models through calibra- tion and validation. For a large-scale watershed, single-site calibration and validation may ignore spatial heterogeneity and may not meet the needs of the entire watershed. The goal of this study is to apply a multi-site calibration and validation of the Soil and Water Assessment Tool （SWAT）, using the observed flow data at three monitoring sites within the Baihe watershed of the Miyun Reservoir watershed, China. Our results indicate that the multi-site calibration parameter values are more reasonable than those obtained from single-site calibrations. These results are mainly due to significant differences in the topographic factors over the large-scale area, human activities and climate variability. The multi-site method involves the division of the large watershed into smaller watersheds, and applying the calibrated parameters of the multi-site calibration to the entire watershed. It was anticipated that this case study could provide experience of multi-site calibration in a large-scale basin, and provide a good foundation for the simulation of other pollutants in follow- up work in the Miyun Reservoir watershed and other similar large areas.

Thixotropy of Aqueous Suspensions Containing Mg-AI Hydrotalcite-like Compound and Low-substituted Cationic Starch： Comparison between Oscillatory Shear and Thixotropic Loop Measurements

The rheological properties of aqueous suspensions consisting of positively charged aluminum magnesium hydrotalcite-like compound （HTlc） and low-substituted cationic starch （LCS） were investigated. Special emphasis was placed on the thixotropic phenomenon. Thixotropic behavior was investigated by two thixotropic methods： thixotropic loop and oscillatory shear measurements. LCS molecules could be adsorbed onto HTlc particles due to the hydrogen bonding between ether groups or hydroxyl groups of LCS and hydroxyl groups of HTlc. The elastic dynamic response of the HTlc/LCS suspension increased with increasing mass ratio （R） of HTlc and a three-dimensional network structure could be formed in the suspension with higher R value. The thixotropic type of the HTlc/LCS suspension transformed from negative to positive and then to complex thixotropy when R changed from 0 to 0.5. By comparing between the thixotropic results obtained by thixotropic loop and oscillatory shear measurements, it was validated that the thixotropic loop for the suspension showing complex thixotropy had a crossover point.
