dear Editor The regulation of nectar production is depend.n. on hormonal signaling. For example, Arabidopsis PIn6, which encodes an auxin efflux transporter family protein, was id.n.ified as a nectary-enriched gene whose expression level was positively correlated to total nectar production （Bender et al., 2013）. Two coupled dark solitons are considered in a two-component Bose-Einstein cond.n.ate, and their d.n.mics are investigated by the variational approach based the renormalized integrals of motion. The stationary states as physical solutions to the describing equations are obtained, and the d.n.mic mechanism is demonstrated by performing a coord.n.te of a classical particle moving in an effective potential field. The switching and selftrapping d.n.mics of the coupled dark vector solitons are discussed by the evolution of the atom population transferring ratio.

Two dark solitons are considered in a two-component Bose-Einstein cond.n.ate with an external magnetic trap, and effects of the trap potential on their d.n.mics are investigated by the numerical simulation. The results show that the dark solitons attract, collide and repel periodically in two components as time changes, the time period depends strictly on the initial condition and the potential, and there are obvious self-trapping effects on the two dark solitons.

nonlinear instability in electrically charged jets is studied using the governing electro-hydrod.n.mic equations describing stretching and thinning of a liquid jet. A jet flow system subject to both space and time evolving disturbances is considered. At the linear stage, the Rayleigh and conducting jet flow instability modes are *** instability in the flow is explored via triad resonant waves which uncover favorable operating modes not previously detected in the linear study of the problem. In particular, the jet radius is significantly reduced, and the electric field of the jet is properly oriented under the nonlinear study. It is found that taking into account the resonance triad modes provides a better mathematical description of a jet that stretches and thins due to tangential electric field effects. Both linear and.n.nlinear instability results in the jet flow system are presented and discussed.

Background The pink bollworm,Pectinophora gossypiella(Saunders),is a devastating global pest of cotton that has caused substantial economic damage to Bt Bollgard-Ⅱ~?cotton plants in recent years due to the evolution of Bt *** associated fitness cost is assumed to be one of the factors delaying the development of resistance against Bt transgenic ***,the present study was undertaken to assess the biological performance of pink bollworms by comparing the life history and demographic parameters of a resistant(Field-R)and susceptible(Lab-S)*** Prolonged larval duration(23.40 days in Field-R vs 18.80 days in Lab-S population),total life cycle(male=50.00 vs 42.80 days;female=53.60 vs 46.20 days),reduced fecundity(100.60 vs 154.20 eggs/female)and fertility(88.00 vs 138.00 fertile eggs/female)was *** demographic parameters indicated a significant reduction in the net reproductive rate(184.27 vs 276.72),innate capacity for increase in number(0.11 vs 0.15),finite rate of increase in number(1.12 vs 1.16 female progenies produced/female/day),weekly multiplication rate(2.16 vs 2.86),potential fecundity(545.06 vs 634.11 eggs),number of hypothetical F_2 females(33955.65 vs 76572.41),but longer mean length of generation(47.54 vs 37.74 days)and population doubling time(6.30 vs 4.62 days)in Field-R compared with Lab-S population.A stage-specific life to ble demonstrated the differences in survival rates between susceptible and resistant populations at various life stages,with the resistant population having higher generation mortality(0.22vs 0.19).Conclusions The study confirms the involvement of fitness costs associated with Bt resistance in *** reduced reproductive fitness,the resistant population tried prolonging the larval stage as a compensatory mechanism to repair the damaged host tissues due to Bt intoxication and for accumulation of enough nutrient reserves for normal pupation and adult *** of a high p

An explicitly solvable model for tunnelling of relativistic spinless particles through a sphere is suggested. The model operator is constructed by an operator extensions theory method from the orthogonal sum of the dirac operators on a semi- axis and on the sphere. The transmission coefficient is obtained. The depend.n.e of the transmission coefficient on the particle energy has a resonant character. One observes pairs of the Breit-Wigner and the Fano resonances. It correlates with the correspond.n. results for a non-relativistic particle.

The increasing deployment of distributed Generation(dG) technologies introduces power quality challenges to the grid, in particular steady state voltage rise at the connection point for dG units. In most distribution networks,control and monitoring of grid parameters is missing, as well as system security is at risk. Smart grid technologies have the capability to realize the real-time measurements and on-load voltage controls. With the steady implementation of smart grid technologies throughout the existing distribution networks, the online voltage control can be achieved ensuring the power quality and voltage levels within the statutory limits. This study presents a methodology for the estimation of voltage profile in a smart distribution network with dG for the online voltage control, taking into account different line X/R ratios and laterals. This method is based on maximum and minimum voltage estimation by remote terminal units(RTUs) placed only at dG connected bus and at capacitor connected bus. Voltage regulation is carried out based on RTUs estimated values. This work is tested on two radial distribution networks with/without dGs and laterals. Comparative results for voltage magnitudes estimated with different methodology are presented. The reported simulation results show that the method presented is capable of estimating the voltage profile along the distribution network with dGs for the online voltage control, considering different line X/R ratios and laterals.
